• Amazing steaks.
• Disappointing breakfast.

“Best steak in years, went there more than once. Had elderly mother with us and they were only too pleased to give her a Childs meal, as she is not a big eater. Went there for breakfast one morning, not the choice of sizzlers, ponderosa etc, would not recommend breakfast. Going again December to USA, this place will definitely be on our list. Not cheap meal, but you get what you pay for.”

“He food we were served was extremely cold. The food was extremely expensive and not good value for money. The mussels we were served were undercooked and the soup was cold. The restaurant was freezing cold but the service was o.k.”

• I truly cannot think of a negative thing to say about it.

“I have been to this restaurant many times and I can tell you that it is an awesome restaurant with great food, great service and a great atmosphere. It is literally one of my favorite restaurants and I go there often even though it takes me 45 minutes to get there from where I live. When I read the comments about the people on the patio who said the wait staff was rude, I was in disbelief because that has never happened to me in that restaurant. It is not a romantic place but then it's not designed to be. It is a great place to eat really good Tex Mex food. Since we moved to Florida from Texas, we can attest to the fact that it is definitely Tex Mex and not Sonoma or some other brand of Mexican Cuisine.”

“I have to say I agree with most of the reviews posted to date. The food is ok. Not superlative, I have had better at Legal Seafood and many other restaurants in New England, but this restaurant was very expensive! Specialty fish like bass, grouper etc were $40 per person. I had king crab which was a good sized portion, but was cold, as was the melted butter, so I couldn't even warm it up. The entrees were served minutes after the salads, which filled the table beyond capacity, and made for a very uncomfortable situation. The service was ok. Again, nothing special. We left a 10% tip and we always leave close to 20% and never less than 15% unless to make a point. Children's meals were overcooked and our children would not eat them, which was more wasted money. My husband had their special 23 hour roasted prime rib, which had a good flavor, but the texture was destroyed from the long cooking time. It's a nice looking restaurant, nice atmosphere. But I would not go back.”

“Two different experiences here, first for dinner, the waitress was lovely. Even made my daughter strawberry milk with syrup and milk when it was not on the menu. She was awesome. The food was good, and the experience wonderful. The second experience was on Sunday morning, for breakfast, the waitress was stressed, and made us feel stressed. She was impatient with the children and made them repeat everything. My husband's BLT was thrown together, compared with others on the restaurant that had been cut nicely and presented better. He later had an upset stomach. This is why I have 5's as one experience was wonderful and the other terrible.”

• I cannot think of a thing.

“This meal was awesome! The server was excellent. The atmosphere was great. This was the best meal we had during our vacation in Orlando. We actually almost went back a second time in a week, but it got too late and we had to do something quick. I had filet mignon which was delicious. Pure meat, not necessary to cover the flavor up with marinades or seasonings, it was delicious. It was fresh and tender and the lobster tail I had with it was wonderful. My daughter had the child's prime rib, and it was large enough for an adult, and perfectly cooked. Everything was cooked to perfection, the wine selection was excellent, and even the sparkling water was classy! I would recommend this to anyone.”

• My husband enjoyed the oysters.
• See above; food quality, service, accuracy.

“We were so disappointed at this restaurant. The kids did not want to do the buffet so ordered a la carte, and the meals were ridiculously small. Maybe a dozen French fries, with a small cheese burger and the Mac and cheese were like a small size frozen banquet portion. The kids were still hungry and I had to order them a huge order of FF to supplement the meal. The lobsters were tiny! Maybe 2oz of meat in the whole thing! Maybe I am spoiled coming from the northeast, but they were the smallest lobsters I ever saw! They were also tough, not tender. The crab cakes, seafood Newburg, seafood salad etc were all fake crab, the imitation crab meat you can buy at the store. Very disappointing! The waiter was inaccurate and slow. It took two tries to get the right Martini and the kids had to wait for 1/2 an hour for their FF. We actually felt guilty eating, which really spoiled it for us.”

“This was our first stop after getting off the plane in Orlando and was a very pleasant surprise. A good meal, everything was hot and right and the Server Spyder was excellent! Good value for money. Highly recommend!”

• Wait staff was very courteous and helpful. Food was prepared to our liking.
• Location was a bit strange in a strip mall type setting but didn't matter much to me.

“My colleagues and I ate there while on a business trip to Florida. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waiter Michael took the time to share his knowledge of wine in helping pick out a great bottle of cabernet and recommended what I classify as one of the finest steaks I have had. If you ever get a chance to visit veto's have the veal chop and ask for Michael to help with the wine list, as it is pages of fine wines. I am traveling back to Orlando in the fall of this year with my family and two other families and will recommend this be a place to go for dinner one night.”

“Being that this is an expensive restaurant, the main course was good. But that's expected for what you are paying. The starter salad, however, was bad. The lettuce was old and the crouton/crisps were stale. When we told the waitress, she said that the salad was supposed to be that way. Since when was salad supposed to have old lettuce? The service was awful, which really ruined the night. The waitress was pushing expensive wines and was down right rude. She dropped our food, back talked, and called my mom "honey" when explaining the salad was "supposed to be that way."”

“I wholeheartedly understand that prices change; however, when you fail to note on your menu "subject to change" you should not put a customer into an awkward situation. Last night, I took out visiting family members to this restaurant, my treat. One individual ordered the lobster. Later on, the waitress came back out to the table and stated the manager wanted to "advise us the price of the lobster was $10.00 more and did we still wish to order the lobster." First, the menu did not state "prices subject to change." Secondly, you should not put someone into a position of telling them of a price change without indicating it on the menu. Although we are only speaking of $10.00, I was not impressed with the service based upon this change in pricing and the slow response for refills of drinks or simple checking on everyone. Putting your waitress into an uncomfortable position of having to tell me, I wonder why the manager didn't come and speak to me personally? I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone based upon this sole factor nor will I ever visit this restaurant again...”

“I could not disagree more with the other people who reviewed vito's. As an Orlando local I tend to stay away from the tourist areas but had relatives in town who were staying on I-drive. A friend of mine recommended vito's and we all thought it was great. The portions were huge and less expensive to comparable steak places in Orlando (Ruth¿s Chris, shula¿s, del Frisco's) and the service was great. The waiters helped us select a few bottles of wine and were very knowledgeable of all the offerings (even the "cheaper" bottles). Most importantly the steak was one of the 5 best I have ever had.”

“My girlfriend and I trusted city search for a recommendation on this restaurant because we wanted some good seafood. City search's overall rating was and still is a 9.2 since they refuse to print my review of this place. We made reservations for a Sunday night. Arrived at 8:00pm and the place was relatively empty. Our waitress had 3 tables. She took 32 minutes to take our order. The food was luke warm when it arrived 35 minutes after ordering. She never came by to check and ask how the food was. We would have changed to a different restaurant, but being unfamiliar with the area decided to stay. We should have gone to red lobster! Better food overall, usually very good service, and cheaper prices. Don't waste your money!”

“My wife and I were looking for seafood and where else would we go, but to a place with the Name fish bones. The food was acceptable, but not outstanding. Likewise the service was not outstanding. For sea bass and grouper, the bill was $85 with no alcoholic drinks. I've had meals for less in upscale restaurants where the waiters wore tuxedos and bent over backwards to help. One doesn't mind paying extra for extra service. Fish bones serve an average meal with average service at elite prices. We will skip it the next time!”

“My husband, son (age 9) and I had a really lovely meal here. We were on holiday at Easter in Orlando. We were recommended to eat at this restaurant by our family who had been the previous year. We were not disappointed. The service from the staff was faultless from entering the place until the really friendly and helpful waitress had finished serving you. T he food was very fresh and tasted lovely, also it was plentiful we shall be going back next march when we are back on holes.”

“We arrived at 8.20pm and were seated,given the menu and ordered a drink.The menus were for lunch not dinner,the waitress changed them. We placed our order and chose a bottle of wine.The starters and the wine arrived and we began to eat and drink. A few minutes later the waitress arrived back saying to me that the lamb was off and would I choose something else,i chose the steak and returned to eating my starter.The waitress returned and laughingly said the steak was now off and would I like to choose another dish. I said I would like to finish my starter and if she brough me the menu I would choose something then. A few minutes later (9.05pm) she came back to the table and said (the chef says you have two minutes to order or you won't eat here tonight) I asked to speak to the manager he was full of apoligies, but the whole night was ruined and we left, hungery disappointed, angry and sad. The food may be good, but I have never had such appauling service ever.”

“This really applies to ALL Burger Kings. And in fact, ALL fast food restaurants. DON'T EAT HERE!! The food the restaurants make is loaded with unhealthy doses of FAT, SUGAR, SALT and who knows what else. If your in a hurry, try a sandwich shop like Subway or Quiznos and orderly selectively. Demand healthier food and these corporations will have to deliver. Just think of all the money you save on prescriptions and Doctor bills from avoiding all the diseases and problems associated with poor diet. You'll be much better off, perhaps even rich!”

• Great food; good value; unique and flavorful Caribbean entries.
• Can get noisy and very busy; wait can be long.

“I'll keep this short or else I could go on too long. This place is great!!! Most of the people I know also enjoy it. In fact, I can't think of anyone that has said something bad about Bahamas Breeze. Not everything on the menu is fantastic ... a few things are a bit more on the average side ... not bad ... but just good. The other items are wonderful. For the money, it a great restaurant. My only two criticisms are: it can be very noisy, and very busy with a long wait. My wife and I go there a lot!!! The strawberry pina colada is the BEST!!”

• Food was nothing special and not a particularly good value.

“To be honest, my experience with this place is very limited. After attending a retirement party here one evening, I got some fish and chip and a sandwich for my wife (to go). The fish and chips comes with Cole slaw which traditionally has mayonnaise in it and tends to be a bit 'liquid'. Most places that I have ordered take out food from would put something like this in a separate container or compartment. At Cricketers Arms -- nope. Your slaw gets slopped in with the fries and fish in a Styrofoam container. Slaw-sogged fries really DON'T complete fish very well. On top of that the meal was overpriced and not particularly that good. Same goes for the sandwich order! Go here for the English pub atmosphere if that's your thing. But I'd recommend skipping the food and just going for the drink!!”

“About eight of us from the office went for lunch one day. Two had the fish and chips, 1 had the Talapia and the rest crab cakes. The wait was a bit excessive for lunchtime, but they did supply us with bread and butter which was very good. The bread was hot, with a very soft, moist center and wonderful fresh-baked smell. When our meals finally arrived, both my colleague and I were surprised that our fish and chips consisted of only 3 very scrawny fish sticks! Usually this meal is prepared from a less expensive white fish, so one would not expect to receive a petite portion! Comments from my other colleagues were not enthusiastic. The crab cakes were ok. But nothing close to causing a stampede of Marylanders to migrate to Orlando. If you've ever had a truly GREAT crab cake, you will come to realize that 90% of the restaurants advertising them just aren't worth it!!!!! It's a rare to find the real McCoy! The talapia was also disappointing from what I was told. We all might have been a little happier if the cost were a few dollars cheaper per meal. However, the food still wasn't anything unique or outstanding.”

“I have dined at numerous restaurants that are all over the map in regards to quality. Several weeks prior to dining at Fishbones, I had the pleasure of dining at one of the top-rated restaurants in Philadelphia. My meal there cost roughly the same amount as my meal at Fishbones did, and in no way was it comparable. Allow me to say this: I did enjoy my meal at Fishbones; it was grilled perfectly well, however, I was shocked when we received the bill and it cost $40! Servers should tell diners what meals cost. I have been to plenty of 4 and 5 star restaurants that do this. Frommers Guide said most entries at Fishbones were under $25, so to get a bill for $40 was quite a shock, especially when it wasn't even one of the evenings' specials. Additionally, although Frommers describes the restaurant as being family-friendly, they did not have cups appropriate for children. My children were given their drinks in coffee cups, cumbersome at best. ”

“My girlfriends and I are in our 20's and are locals of Orlando, FL. We decided to go to Chillers for lunch and Latitudes for a few drinks. The decor of these bar/restaurant is nice. However, there is not much else that can be said for the slow service, poor quality food, and the cheap drinks. We stayed for an hour at lunch and were sorry we wasted that much time there. The food took at least 30 minutes to come to our table. The chicken sandwich I ordered was underdone and the waitress forgot what drinks we had ordered. Then, we went back in on Saturday in the evening hoping to see a better side to the night life there. Sadly, we were disappointed again by the rude bartenders and mediocre crowd. These restaurants/ bars are definitely not places for families. This is more of a bar/grill than a fine dining place. There are way cooler bars to visit around this town, and both Chillers and Latitudes are not one of them. Definitely a waste of time and money.”

“I was disappointed driving up to find employees standing around out front, with aprons on, smoking. Our server was not attentive to our table and because it was 1 hour prior to closing, she was busy cleaning the floor in another part of the restaurant and stacking chairs - within view of our seating and failing to check on our table. It took 45 minutes to get our food to the table. 30 minutes after ordering our server returned as she had forgotten how the steak was ordered, Medium Rare. I sent my entire plate of food back as it was quite a disappointment! No matter the size of party, a 15% gratuity is added to your check. I would say overall it left a very bad taste in our mouths.”

“Decent food & the Atmosphere was nice in the Bar area. Slow Service & Poor Attitudes of the wait-staff and Hostess. "They seem to move you in and out fast and pack you in like cattle." (Do not get the All-you-can-eat-shrimp, you'll never get seconds and make sure you ask about the prices on the specials if you plan to keep your meal under $50). 12 people in our party and after the conclusion of our meal we were told that Fishbone had a "No check Splitting Policy". After 30 minutes of arguing with the waiter and Management staff about it not being posted on the door or any menu, we were given a calculator and told to split it ourselves. Next visit to Orlando, we're skipping Fishbone.”

“Waiter first came over and pushed a wine which he referred to as "a buck fifty" meaning $150, looked in disgust when we ordered a $40 bottle. Ordered Fillet med rare, it was well done. Told him, he said we're too busy to take it back. Asked for manager, another server came over and took it, he brought it back - it was some sort of unidentifiable meat, was not fillet - he told me it was and if I don't like it don't eat it. The worst food and service I've ever had including fast food restaurants. Do not waste your time and money on this place.”

• The service was excellent.

“Food was great! We had a thin crust pizza (for the Kids) and a Chicago style pizza for my husband and I. We even bought a thin crust pizza to take back for Family members waiting at our resort. The service was fantastic, our waiter was very helpful and attentive. We will eat here again when we return to WDW next year. ”

“This place only survives on first time tourist trade. It charges you extra for everything, and we had to wait about 1 hour, in an almost empty restaurant, for our food. Save your stomach and money and go to the Chili's across the street.”
