“Every time we visit our kids in Tampa we eat there 2 or three times during the week. We love Thai food. Tried several different meals and I decided the spicy noodles is my favorite. Very nice people.”

“This is a nice little sidewalk cafe within walking distance of the Convention Center in Tampa but with marginal food. I ordered the Reuben, which turned out to be some American cheese, sauerkraut, and corned beef on some bread that was then pressed (not grilled or really even heated up completely). I had to eat it with a knife and fork because it was extremely soggy and I couldn't pick it up. The food was cheap, at least. The salads looked really good, too.”

“Ive eaten here 3-4 times over the past two years and it has been remarkably good and consistent. All dishes are well-prepared and tasty (need to look at specials for added variety). If you are there for sunset, even better. Servers are always attentive without being pesty or pushy. It's not cheap but you will get your money's worth and I would recommend it without hesitation or qualification.”

“Brought a customer to Sarasota location for lunch. Customer remarked "God, They are pretty proud of their meatloaf" I think it was embarrassed to order it because of the price. Instead he ordered a sandwich. I ordered the Deep heat Fried Chicken with greens. When the plate arric = ved with my 2" x 3" piece of chicken and the greens on the plate he remarked." Is this a gourmet Paris restaurant?" Hadn't seen a serving like that since Auschwitz. Convinced me that Leroy's is not the place to bring customers for lunch. $9.00 for a tiny piece of chicken and some greens? No lunch menu either. Too bad leroy's food is good. Just overpriced. Looks like they will go the route of Bennigans and Steak & Ale. Burn me once.”

“An amazing restaurant that has such a romantic atmosphere. Although when we went it was not all too busy, I would imagine that the service that we received which was great would be the same no matter what time or day you would go. They have a wonderful piano player who will play the songs you would like to hear. Did I mention, that this place is so romantic? It is, and I would recommend any gentleman take his lady there.”

“This was our first - and last - visit to any Wing house. Granted, the place was packed on a Sunday night but that's no excuse for the various things that went wrong. The worst: 1) having two servers argue in front of us whose customers we are. b) getting the worst wings I've ever had. I had ordered Buffalo style wings with medium sauce. They were horrible and tasted like fish. My wife had garlic parmesan wings which were so greasy, grease was collecting at the bottom of the tray. They tasted slightly better than my fishy Buffalo Wings. For our next wings, we'll be back to Buffalo Wild Wings, regardless of the drive.”

“Good food, but the prices are too high for the portion size. The bread was warm but stale. The service, was poor and slow. I would recommend it if you have a lot of time and a lot of money.”

“We were there on a Friday night for dinner. It was like a ghost town in the restaurant. There were from 10 to 12 servers standing around talking to each other. The other bars in the complex were gearing up and celebrating happy hour. If you can believe it, they were charging a surcharge for ice that went in your drink, up to $2.00. Never heard of that before, but it's fair to say that, judging from the emptiness of the parking ramp and the scarcity of people walking around in the complex, this place has seen it's day. Don't get me wrong, the food was good and the service was good. The ladies complained of a squirrel cage blower in the ladies room that was apparently placed there to get rid of a bad smell. For a Friday night, this restaurant was probably 5% full of customers in the eating area, if that. Food was good but nothing exceptional. Server was on the spot, attentive. Our friends that we met there were sushi fans, we are not. They said the sushi was good but not served warm. The food is a little overpriced but tasty.”

“Busy. Orders wrong, eggshells in breakfast sandwiches. Overall not fast enough, training during peak hours slows down orders. Staff ok, managers friendly, smiling while exuding professionalism! Needs better landscaping and quicker curbside ordering.”

“Sub Port is a real sub sandwich shop. Not one of the franchise premade places. I don't know how people believe all the lies the Subways and such put out. They have no meat slicker. How can it be fresh? Their bread comes out of a freezer. Certainly, not fresh. I have been going to Sub Port for years. Anyone who thinks the franchises are good have never tried a real sub. They now guarantee if you get a sub, all the way, and don't like it you. I don't think anyone has ever asked for it. I'll be by the back TV munching on a #2, all the way. Delaying my trip back to work. They have a neat little ocean liner museum going on there too!”

“The restaurant was nice but the food was not. The pulled pork was extra dry. The gentleman sitting at a table next to me told his waitress the beans were horrible. The restaurant is new to this area and maybe the staff and cooks were inexperienced. I would not eat there again if it was free. But then again I'm picky and this is just my opinion.”

“We haven't been to this restaurant in over 10 years and last month we remembered and decided to give it a try. The experience was great, the food excellent. It was a Saturday and we were the second ones in the restaurant. We decided to go back this week around the same time and boy, what a change! The food was good, but the stakes came to the table lukewarm, as if the waitress had forgotten to pick them up. We ordered the same mixed drinks we had ordered the previous time and when the bill came it was over $30 more! We asked the waitress and she said that they had given us Premium brands. We didn't ask for Premium brands we told her and her response was. Well, you drank them! The nerve, We asked to speak to the manager who explained that when we order mix drinks we had to be specific otherwise he charge for Premium. We told her that we had been there before and no where did it say on the menu to ask for regular drinks or premium drinks. She gave us credit for the "mix-up" but took our last drinks with her and we were not even done with them. Basically the food is good but you have to keep an eye on the bill or they will take you for a ride.”

“Best BBQ you will ever eat but it is in a very poor neighborhood and not a place you would want to sit down and eat. Most people get their food to go. It is a very busy place and very popular with all walks of life. From the rich to the very poor.”

“The atmosphere for a Sports Bar is okay. It needs tinted windows so you can actually see the TV's. The food is expensive for the quality that you get some is okay though, just depends on your meal would not recommend anything but beer to someone who hasn't been there. And would not take my out of town relatives there. Parents' don't watch their kids and they are running around knocking over waitress's and being rude.”

“In 2 months, we visited the Lucky Dill in Palm Harbor, at least once a week. Loved the food. The Matso Ball Soup is great, the Corned Beef, out of this world and the Grouper Sandwich, to Die for. We cannot wait to return this year. Birthday dinner in February is a must at Lucky Dill. We are so looking forward to it.”

“The service at this restaurant is terrible! It was extremely difficult to get my servers attention to even get a refill on drinks, let alone place a food order. I got attitude from the other servers when I asked for Napkins and Silverwear. They all acted too busy to help out table. I get this kind of treatment every time I go there. The only reason I go is because my boyfriend likes to watch sports on the bigger TVs. I didn't know that a paying customer is such an inconvenience.”

“I've been going to steak and ale since I was a little kid. I consider myself somewhat of an expert on the brand. I've been to multiple locations and have seen the differences and similarities in each. At this point in my life I travel a lot. I have to take clients out and often have meetings over dinner. Because of this I often choose steak and ale. It is elegant enough to impress many of my clients, but not so expensive to my bosses cry. There are many items that I would recommend to any patron who has yet to fully enjoy the steak and ale experience. First let me say that their salad bar is second to none. Anyone who gets any of their other salads is missing out. If you are looking for a nice dinner, but on the cheaper side I would recommend their Hawaiian chicken, the spicy chicken pasta or on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesday getting their $10.99 prime rib special. If you are willing to spend just a little more then I would recommend the Kensington Club, Cedar Plank Salmon or their braised Pork Osso Bucco. The Osso Buco was new the last time I went, and it was truly fantastic. I had it in Arlington Texas and it was about $15. Now when you really want to spend a little more cash there are only 3 items to get. For seafood lovers get their lobster tails. My wife raves over them every time she has them. For me it is either the 9 pepper filet or the rib eye. The 9 pepper is smaller, but it melts in your mouth tender with a sauce, while slightly hot, that is to die for. The rib eye is big one of the most flavorful steaks Ive ever had. Now I know many people like fried food, and although I have seen a few steak and ale's with fried food, most do not. I also recommend pairing there food with wine or beer. Their wine list is decent compared to most casual dinning establishments and their beer choice, although usually small usually has many quality ales.”

“I travel a lot, and whenever I need a great steak on the road I look for a Steak & Ale. This one was no exception. It is great for meeting clients, or for a quiet dinner with my girlfriend. The food is amazing; I particularly like the Kensington club or their prime rib. For drinks Ill usually order a bottle of Shiraz or a Platinum Margarita. All and all this Steak & Ale was much like the others I have visited, great food and even better service.”

“I've only had Ledo Pizza for takeout but I'm telling you, it's fantastic. The toppings are high quality and the dough has an interesting buttery taste. I tried it after seeing it on Oprah, thinking that it may be a tad over hyped. No, it's really good. I've stuck mostly to pizza and a couple appetizers but everything I've eaten has been consistently excellent.”

“This was our 3rd time in Salmon's, and we decided to bring 4 couples with us. I was worried that they would not like it and then Id be to blame! But of course, they all loved it. The manager was excellent. He came over and talked to us and brought us a sample of some chicken wings, and the waiter was excellent as well. The food, while very fattening Im sure, is worth the once in a while splurge. Id recommend it to anyone. It has something for all.”

“I visit Mcdivots quite a bit, some days are better then others, the last several times we have been there the service was very slow and the salad was not fresh. Some of the portions are small for the money but the wings are great. The ladies night on Wednesday nights are great, keep the free beer and wine. The kids night on Tuesdays is great for the little ones with the face painting, it would be nice if you had free kids meals instead of charging a smaller fee, most restaurants are free for the kids nights and I think that you should consider changing that. Sometimes it gets too noisy for a dinner, if you want a quieter place you wouldn't necessarily want to go there. For the most part we go for the wings and the nachos are great. And if we want a ladies night out we go for the free beer and wine on Wednesday nights.”

“Our worst experience at PH, our son's birthday; we were in Fl on vacation at Busch Gardens. Were seated quickly but waited for 45 minutes to be served after people seated after us. One waitress to take care of the whole place, seating, serving, etc; when another did come out, she went past our table to another table that had just arrived. In summary, the waitress was rude, talking to us with her hands on her hips. We got half our order & no free refills. We were there for 2 ½ hrs & then 1 ½ hour drive back to Orlando! Not the kind of experience we expect from Pizza Hut.”

“We eat at this location many times during the year. We were very disappointed with the food preparation and availability on our last visit. June 22, 2007.the seafood consisted of highly seasoned over done fish fillets, no shrimp. The mashed potatoes were like wall paste. Even the fried chicken (which is mostly why we stop at the golden corral) was awful! Over cooked and over seasoned. Not at all as it used to be. I did complain to the assistant mgr (?) But I was told," that's the way things are now." I guess your company doesn't want normal American diners anymore. That is a shame!”

“The Sarasota location is relatively new, very loud, and its bar area is where the action is - of all kinds. The dining area is large and completely disorganized. On a typical Saturday evening you are in for an extended wait for no apparent reason; 1 hour is typical, while empty tables and wandering wait staff abound. Once seated, a drink order can take another 20 - 30 minutes depending on the size of your party, apparently because of priorities given for at-bar patrons. One bartender, dozens of bar requests. The menu is medium priced but limited in selection. Don't expect variety like Chili's or Applebee's here. Same with drink selections, by the way. After another 20 - 30 minute wait for food, the guests in our party were pleased with the ribs and beef selections: don't order any fish, since it is basically inedible - especially the salmon. Sides are interesting, and the salad is routine. Altogether, the bill was around $25. per seating, which includes one drink and desert; reasonable price, but not a memorable dining experience. With the waiting time, and the loud-loud "atmosphere" making casual conversation really difficult, the 3 hours spent there was a basically cheap evening. If it weren't for the dozen or so big-screen TVs it would have seemed much longer. Basically, its an over-blown sports bar: go there to drink and get lucky, but don't bother with dining. You can do better in Sarasota even in more regnizable chains.”

“Having visited the Brickyard several times this year, I have to say that the place is really turning around. I've seen a big jump in service and the quality of the food since I started visiting there. The divided bar/restaurant layout provides privacy for those having dinner, and opens up the bar area. The outside patio is always nice too. The staff could be a little more attentive, but it's considerably better then before! I think they have live music most nights of the week. I usually visit on Monday nights and the musician is excellent. I would recommend the Brickyard to anyone looking for a nice relaxing evening!”

“After many years of enjoying the food and Gator football and basketball games at Hatricks, I will never return after my experience last Saturday, September 2nd. My beloved Gators were playing their season opener that evening, so I called Hatricks that afternoon to confirm that they would be showing the game. When they responded that they would, of course, be showing the game, my father-in-law, my wife and I showed up an hour before kickoff to secure a choice table. A number of other Gator fans arrived over the next hour. As the kickoff time approached, I confirmed that the game would, in fact, be shown. As 6:00 came and passed without the TV channels being changed, I asked our waitress, the manager (and, I believe, the owner) about the status of the game. They responded that, since the game was a PPV game, they would not be showing it. I responded that I had called in advance, arrived an hour early and was very disappointed. The owner / manager told me to "take a chill pill." My party (and the other Gator fans) departed, and we enjoyed the game (after waiting for at table during the first quarter) at Beef O'Brady's, and I will be watching future Gator games there. Needless to say, it will be a cold day in "the Swamp" before I ever set foot in Hattricks again!!!”
