“Whatever happened to Ruthie T's, I loved the place. The food was top quality and the music was great, we used to go there every summer at least 3 times while we were here. All the locals told we had to try Ruthie T's.”

“Didn't eat at the restaurant. Ordered a birthday cake from Antonio's bakery for our 2 year old granddaughter. Cake was $38.00 for one single layer. Supposed to be zebra stripes - was just lines of icing - but the worst part was it was oozing a liquid - like they poured sugar water over an old cake - was so disgusting no one in our group could eat - most especially the birthday girl. Reaction was disgusting. Would not even take our phone calls - Antonio knew it was nasty!”

“Our family enjoyed our visit to the restaurant. We had children from 2-11. The price was great and the food was tasty. All of us enjoyed the atmosphere, with all of the fish and alligators. We are looking forward to going again this summer!”

“I went to this place for years and loved it. Then the inevitable happened. It was a rainy night and we decided to go for dinner. We sat by the west wall and there were 10 of us. They served us there bread as usual and my daughter took a bite. She bit into something hard. I told her to spit it out and it was a piece of glass. It was sharp but it luckily did not cut her mouth. I told the waitress and she said she would tell the owner. We all blew it off and went to the main courses. Then, my brother is eating his ravioli and pulls out a very large piece of cellophane wrapping. I was obviously not taken out before cooking. This was surprisingly a very large piece of plastic. We again told the waitress and she was so sorry. We waited for the owner to come over and he never did. We got up to leave and the 3rd thing happened. All of the girls purses were sopping wet and 1 jacket was drenched. The rain had leaked in the walls and it was a puddle under our table. The whole experience was a nightmare. The biggest problem I had with the situation was that the owner blew us off like we did not exist. We approached him ourselves and told him what happened. He said he was informed by the waitress. He was as cold as ice and said, "things like this happen". He never apologized. It is as if we did not exist. Did not even offer any compensation. This was a very bad experience and I will never go back.”

• Loved the laid-back but fun atmosphere! And the place was super clean.
• Drinks can be a little pricey but the mix of folks makes up for it.

“My friend and I went to PCB during the off season in February and stumbled across Foghorns. What a great bar! The place is small with a couple of pool tables, dart boards and a juke box. It's an interesting mix of locals and visitors. We got there in the early afternoon and stayed late into the night. If you're looking for a place to hook-up you might want to move down the beach to one of the other college bars. But if you want a place where you can have a drink and a cigarette and have a great time, this is your joint. I'll be going back to PCB just to visit Foghorns!”

• Excellent ingredients - made with passion.
• Once pizza contained canned mushrooms, but no longer.

“Outstanding! We have visited Pasta Grill on several occasions during our two month visit in 2008 and we plan on many more during our three-month visit in 2009. Lasagna is superb! Fresh ingredients - no canned mushrooms! Love it - truly an Italian experience.”

• Great atmosphere, delicious food.
• I can't change water, even ice; could use bottled/canned soft drinks.

“This restaurant has become our favorite place to frequent when we are in PCB. The bread with the garlic/olive oil mixture and the salad with creamy Italian are wonderful; this alone is worth the 8-hour trip. The grilled grouper topped with a sauce containing cubed fresh tomatoes atop a bed of garlic-parmesan mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus is to die for. The bakery next door has wonderful pastries; the best one is the white Napoleon.”

• Worst food I've ever had.

“It was the worst meal I've ever had and I could not get rid of that bad taste in my mouth all evening. I'm thinking gasoline would have helped. My son ordered Veal Picata and it had a green gray cast and he was pretty sure it was just a boiled old flip flop with some sauce thrown over it. 4 were in our party - we ordered basic stuff and no one liked it. The bread was dry and hard through and through and it was a horrible $70 meal. Our service was okay but she never asked us how our meal was. I think she already knew. We left their went to McDonalds to help get the bad taste out. Yeah, that bad!”

“This a place my family always goes. Everything is very good. The She-Crab soup is to die for and the salads are great. It is a bit expensive, but is in it what vacations are for is to pamper your self to a great meal! Very romantic too, for those wanting to go for honeymoons or just couples.”

• Many of the same people work there that have been there for 20 years and more. Food is always perfect.
• The aren't open year round.

“I have eaten at Angelo's for 25+ years, Angelo's is always clean, the staff are always friendly and accommodating and the food is superb! I would recommend the place to everyone who goes to Panama City Florida. Eat there first, you may not go anywhere else. For Seafood you should try Pier 77 on Thomas Drive.”

“Actually it was my kids that discovered Pasta Grill. They had eaten there with friends and brought the left over home. When my son came in he said "hey mom you gotta taste this" it was the seafood ravioli, skeptic that I am, I went in for the bite and wow, my eyes closed and I thought I found a little bit of heaven. We now go at least 3 times a month. I have to say though, the last time we were there the bread was stale and the food was a little mushy but I figured everyone is entitled to a bad day. We are going tonight with the kids. Bon appetit.”

• Very impressive house wine and friendly staff (the only good things I can say).
• Tasted like pasta from a can, frozen, then reheated then kept under a heat lamp.

“It appears there are two chefs working at Pasta Grill. This would have been a wonderful Italian meal. This was not the case. The pasta was mush-it is cooked Al Dente in Italy, and this was very far from it. The sauce contained frozen, grey peas and tasted as though it has been reheated numerous times. The olive oil which comes with the bread was wonderfully aromatic with garlic and spices; this was very enjoyable. The service was cheerful and attentive. The bread was passable. For authentic Italian food, immediately go to Ferrucci's on Harrison Ave. In Downtown Panama City, you will not be disappointed! They know pasta and sauce.”

“My daughter and I were in Panama city for thunder on the beach motorcycle gathering and wanted to find a restaurant that was away from the traffic we had spent all day in on our bikes. What a delight we discovered that day! The food was presented as though it was the food network cook offs and prepared to perfection. Our waiter was wonderful; he judged each of our personalities and treated us accordingly. My daughter is laid back, I am extravagant! I have highly recommended the pasta grill to our many friends who dined closer to the action on the beach, so, get ready next year; we're going to swamp you! I should also mention that I am the family cook/kook, with a propensity toward Italian and gourmet, so accolades from me do not come easy, my daughter was amazed that I found fault with nothing! I also liked that the chef mingled with the diners and made sure all were satisfied, we had a nice chat about his fresh herb garden out back. Great job.”

• Food is way too salty and the service is absolutely horrible.

“I ate here with a friend a few months back. It was around 9:30 and we were asked to sit at the bar. Then entire time there was a very intoxicated man sitting at the other end. He was obviously way over the limit as he made very vulgar and rude remarks to us. Although he harassed us repeatedly and repeatedly, the bartenders continued to serve him saki. It wasn't until he actually got up and hit me that they intervened. When the manager was told about the incident, she told the bartenders to let him stay there because he was a good customer. On top of this, our order was messed up, and when we did receive our food, it was coated in salt. Needless to say I haven't gone back.”

“My wife and I went to panama city on our honeymoon for a week and ate at Angelos 5 nights out of 7 and wished we had gone there the other 2 nights also. Angelos is hands down my favorite restaurant and like the review who said the good reviews must be from employees is just a bunch of baloney. Awesome steaks and drinks and yes, we were allowed to bring our drinks to the table and keep the glasses, too! If you are in p.c. You will be doing yourself a favor if you give Angelos a try. They may be a little costly to folks that eat supper at that golden arch joint but the steaks are well within the price for their taste and quality.”

• Cleanliness, something smelled as if old seafood was spoiling under the table.

“Overpriced. The food was mediocre for the price paid. This is a restaurant that deals in feeding the masses (get'em in, feed'em lots of fried stuff, and get'em out). The seating information on the yellow wait card should have given us our first indication of this, but we went forward with the meal anyway. The service matches this operating principle and offers little to the customer. Our 22 dollars worth of appetizers were served with paper plates. The wait between the appetizer and the main course was too long. The waiter was condescending and sarcastic to my wife. If you decide to visit this restaurant, read the back of the yellow seating ticket they will hand you and you'll get a real clear picture of what you are in for. We do not recommend this restaurant and are sure we will never dine here again.”

• True gourmet food at very reasonable prices.
• The building is not anything special from the outside.

“The food is just outstanding at this cozy and authentic Italian restaurant on the beach. This is a true gourmet experience at remarkably reasonable prices. We ate there three times on one week. The service is warm and attentive. The chef/owner is friendly and accommodating and willing to handle special requests. The atmosphere is casual and the building is not fancy at all. There is plenty of parking out back if the spots in front are taken. The wine list is limited compared to the quality of the food but there are a number of nice Italian choices on the list. I'm looking forward to a return visit.”

• Everyone was so friendly.
• It was late and they were close to closing, sorry to do that to them.

“The all American diner was down the street from our hotel during vacation. We were originally going to hit the town but the traffic put an end to that. so we went down the street before we could take it no more and we seen a welcoming light on in the diner. all the waitresses were watching some fireworks but they were up and greeting us as soon as we came to the door. The place was empty cause people were watching the fireworks but we were starving. They seemed to be cleaning up for the night while it was slow but they hopped to it when we and several other customers came in at the last minute. they were friendly, accommodating (cause we thought we came in during closing when indeed they were just cleaning during a slow time and breaking during a lull) they were very nice and we will always go back for at least 1 meal when we vacation there just to lend support always support local businesses it doesn't always have to be a chain restaurant.”

“This deli has the best Reuben sandwich I have had in years. It is a family owned and run restaurant- which makes the service very personal. They even made the effort to make something (not from the menu) for my very picky five year-old. If you get the chance stop in here for lunch!”

• Food and value are excellent! Best local Italian food I¿ve ever tasted.
• Service and parking needs improvement.

“The food will wow you! My wife and I have definitely added pasta grill to our most favorite local list. Varied menu, great values plus delicious tastes of Italian food. It won't take too long before this hidden treasure of a restaurant becomes the talk of the town. The only problem I foresee in the future is getting a table within a reasonable time, but that won't stop us from going.”

• Food options and service really stink!

“Pineapple Willys advertises that they have the best ribs and the best service. NOT TRUE on the service! And we took the kids their for ribs only to find out there was only one way to order them 1 lb bucket for $19. No kids rib meal. No option to add ribs to an entry. Just that one option. And we were told by our server that 6-8 ribs equal 1 lb. Our server was rude and had an attitude from the beginning. One of the servers was sweeping the deck outside and never once smiled or said hello to any of the patrons walking by. He acted so bothered that people were in his way!!! ”

• Every entry I've ever had there was good.
• No negatives.

“Having dined there at least five times, I have never had a bad meal or poor service there. When there with a group of twenty, we were seated in an area where we could actually hear each other talk. When there for an anniversary, we were made to feel special. The blackened prime rib was superb.”

• Not a good value, horrible ambiance and mediocre food for the price.

“We decided to eat at Angelo's Steak Pit when we read all the reviews ranting and raving about this place. All I know is that the people who wrote those must have worked there or not be used to nicer restaurants. When I called to get directions the Hostess could not tell us how to get there. We asked a man at the gas station and it was quite simple. The wait wasn't too terrible considering the crowd that was waiting for tables. We waited outside for the most part. I went inside to get a drink at the bar and noticed a stench. It smelled like a basement at a church. It almost made me want to turn around and eat somewhere else but we had already waited this long so I decided to give it a shot. We got called up and the hostess told us we could not take our bar drinks to the table, moments later we seen several people taking there drinks with them and not only that they serve alcoholic drinks at the tables so this didn't make any sense. We sat down at our table and it took about 10 minutes to get acknowledged. The ambiance of the place was something like a Ponderosa, just very dirty and dingy. We had the worst service. Our drinks never got refilled and the server never checked on us. The steak was pretty good. I ordered a filet cooked medium it was more like med well. The salad before the meal was nothing to write home about. It was basically like a salad in a bag that you would buy at the grocery store. I found it to be priced too high for what it was. The items on the children's menu was ridiculously priced (ex. $10.99). I didn't think this restaurant was very family friendly because for 1. The high prices on the children's menu, and for 2. It took us 10 tries to find a high chair with a strap. I am a very picky diner. I like the restaurants that I dine at to be clean with delicious food and excellent service. The reviews I have read must of been from people who do not dine at finer restaurants. I just wanted to warn the people who are used to nice restaurants.”

“In my book children are just as important as adults when it comes to quality. I thought the value on the kids meal was wonderful, as well for the adult meals. you can eat food like this any cheaper. Outstanding steak and shrimp.”
