• Great food, drinks, and staff, with friendly bouncers.
• Needs to do this starting Thursdays.

“Came up from Da MIA wit some of my boys and heard about this place. Its true, we found the food was great, and the 2 for 1 drinks awesome. This place never closes on the weekends, its open 24 hrs. We all give it a 10.”

• Great atmosphere, very kind bartenders.
• Nothing.

“Not to mention that they have great food and a fine staff. The bartenders are very kind and do not pose a threat to anybody and will walk you out to your car. The place is open 24 hours on the weekends and the kitchen never closes. The drinks are always 2-4-1 and start at $5.00, $3.00 for a Budweiser. Overall I give it a 9 star rating.”

• I liked everything including security, who walked us to our car.
• Nothing.

“Oceans 11 Hallandale is the place to be. We heard that the food was great, the service was great and the 2-4-1 drinks were over the top. We come up from Miami every weekend and really enjoy ourselves. The menu is over the top as well as the staff. The Bouncers are the bomb as they are professionals. Open 24hrs on weekends.”

• Courteous service.
• Wanted adult atmosphere, so sat at bar. Noisy kids in the bar area.

“Awesome baby back ribs! Chicken wing appetizer was very good.”

• Could be bigger restaurant.

“We tried out this restaurant when we vacationed in Miami. We are from Fargo, ND. We loved it, and came back a few more times! The atmosphere was great. It was like they magically took a diner from the Midwest and plopped in Miami. It was great! Small town friendliness and service! Food was great,I had the Jackie Gleason plate.”

• Great food, staff and service. Hardly any waiting and the food is fresh.
• May seem crowded at times. Not the romantic getaway.

“The Flashback Diner is a place where you could go 4 times a week and not get sick of it. The menu is extensive and the staff is amazing. You will always have a clean table and they rarely make mistakes. If a mistake does happen, they will be glad to replace it; no questions asked. Very friendly and a great place to bring the entire family.”

• The food and the atmosphere.
• Everything was great!

“Nick's Manero's Restaurant is a great place to eat. Start off your meal with the gorgonzola (cheese) salad. They are famous for this salad, and it is wonderful. Any meat you choose is terrific. The salmon was outstanding, as well as the filet mignon and ribeye steak. (There were 4 of us). The bread was fantastic, as well as the dessert. We are going back this week! Enjoy!”

• Chicken soup very good, so was turkey.
• Surroundings not appealing though I was expecting a homey atmosphere.

• Food is great and quick. Service is great.
• Self service. Dine in is served on paper products.

“Sonny's is a very casual restaurant. It is self serve. The restaurant only serves country style breakfast from 7am to 12noon it is a local hot spot. Sonny's is a family own and operated business for over 40 years. They are well known for their homemade biscuits. If you do not get there early you may not eat. This is a great place for good home cooking fast. As the locals say it's not fast food its good food fast. You can dine in or carry out.”

“I have been several times now and every time I go the food is great, service is great, staff is friendly. Nothing fancy, just a great place to relax and get great home cooked food. Kid friendly and never seems too crowded.”

• Busy MAKE Reservations.

“Frankie's Pier5 Restaurant offers its patrons superior Italian cuisine in a serene, but elegant dining room coupled with the musical talents of piano virtuoso and vocalist, The Perrone family offers authentic home made tasting. Occasionally specials include a scrumptious so-so buco served with risotto, it gets no better than here. Louis Perrine has greatly enhanced the restaurant's wine list over the past two years offering selections for the casual diner to the discriminating connoisseur.”

• Quality of food and selection, atmosphere, location, & price.
• Not enough locations. How about one in the northwest Miami area?

“Nice selection of foods. The food bars are kept well stocked by the staff. One price pays for a nice variety of salad & fixings, fresh fruit, hot foods & soups, breads, and desserts. DRINKS (carbonated soft drinks, tea, milk, juice, and coffee) are INCLUDED in the price unlike some other buffets. From potato to taco to shrimp & steak, chicken, and so many others ... it's served. Tables are comfortable (booths or stand-alone tables). Floors are carpeted, lighting and decor is pleasant and relaxing. Kids eat for $ 0.50 per year of age so for a family with small children it saves money and the kids get a variety of food from which to select. There's plenty of parking and the location is safe and easy to find. Enjoy. On a personal note: I like this restaurant much better than Golden Corral (on Pines BLVD.) which is closer to where I live. At Hometown Buffet the food and service is much better and the clientele is less boisterous and more polite. The arrangement of the tables with curtain dividers & lighting at Hometown Buffet gives a quality feel vs. the open almost cafeteria-style arrangement of the Golden Corral. I'll drive the extra distance even with fuel prices to get to Hometown Buffet.”
