Steakhouse 10
Nov 9, 2009 by Marty and Diane from Phoenix, AZ

Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3
Food:[3] • Service:[4] • Atmosphere:[4]

  • Nothing.
  • Everything.

“My wife and I were on vacation. We stayed with friends in Englewood. They suggested Steak 10 for dinner. My friends have bad taste. I would rather eat at a Burger King. You couldn't pay us to go back to Steak 10. We had a rude host - we think it was the owner. The food is average, the price is high. Do yourself a favor - run don't walk from this place.”

“The first time I walked through the doors of Teps, as it's called in my family, I was 13 years old. I'm now 24 and it's still my favorite Mexican restaurant in the states. To give you a little idea of how much I love this place I'll give you this example. Whenever I arrive in Denver my parent's pick me up at the airport and we head directly to Teps to meet the rest of the family and friends! I crave it when I'm away! My family has been going to Teps for years. My cousin, who I ate there with for the first time, has been going there since he was four years old, he's now in his mid thirties. I've only ever ordered one thing at Teps! Huevos Rancheros, over easy, with a side of Chicharones and the only thing that has ever changed in my order in the last 11 years has been a switch to Negro Modelo from Coke when I turned 21. I would love to try some of the other dishes that they offer but I'm unable to, the Huevos Rancheros are too good, I can't seem to make myself order anything else! The Green Chile is the best I've ever had and my cousin and I, both of us are cooks, have been trying for years to re-create the Chile at home, with no success. The food is incredible at Teps but it's not the only thing that makes it amazing. The service is incredible! One of our favorite waitress, knows and has known my order for years now. I walk in, sit down, and she walks over and says "Huevos, over easy, chicharones and a Negro Modelo?" She gives us updates on how her family is doing and is always asking about ours! She's a friend of the family now and the best waitress I've ever seen! The atmosphere at Teps is incredible! It's overall just a beautiful place to get some incredible food! Everyone should experience "Teps!"”

Trail Dust Steak House
Aug 23, 2008 by Renee from Parker, CO

Overall Rating: 3 User Rating Score: 3

  • The food was very good.
  • The music was way too loud! And it wasn't even good music.

“My only complaint was that they had the music turned up so loud that I couldn't hear a thing. As we were leaving we noticed that it would have been much more pleasant to sit outside on the front porch, but I don't think they offered outside seating for dinner. The food was very good, although the portions were huge. My husband & I shared the smallest prime rib and it was more than enough for us. We were stuffed!”

Steakhouse 10
Mar 3, 2008 by Michele from Lakewood

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[9] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[9]

  • The best service I've ever had!
  • It is small and can get noisy if you don't go early.

“The service was just incredible. They could not have treated us any better! And they serve great sides with your meal - something you don't often get at steak houses these days.”

Steakhouse 10
Feb 21, 2008 by Eric from Centennial, Co

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • The absolute best steakhouse in Denver in flavor, preparation, & presentation.
  • The parking lot is very small but there is on street parking.

“The service and steak is the best in Denver. We dine frequently and have been to many steakhouses in Denver but Steakhouse 10 takes the top award in our group. We highly recommend Steakhouse 10 for the highest quality and for the atmosphere. There overall experience is very intimate and perfect for special couple evening or entertaining out of town guests. Steakhouse 10 is not as pricey as other well known and wrote about steakhouses in Denver but do be ready to pay for the overall experience, food, and service.”

Nov 6, 2007 by Gregor from NYC

Overall Rating: 8 User Rating Score: 8
Food:[8] • Service:[9] • Atmosphere:[9]

  • Excellent food, service & atmosphere. Extensive wine list.
  • Very expensive.

“Excellent food, service & atmosphere. Extensive wine list. However the prices are extremely high. A la carte orders for mushrooms for example shouldn't push $10. Dinner for 2 with tip was $400.”

Steakhouse 10
Nov 3, 2007 by Janine from Parker

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • Treated like we were their royal family. Phenomenal!
  • Inky dinky parking lot you SUVs park somewhere else!

“This delightful restaurant is owned by three Greek brothers who serve rich and decadent food. Experience started with fabulous front door service; intimate dining are, dark rich wood and fire place. Great wine list. Must try the signature "Saganaki" appetizer, the performance makes this delicious dish taste even better! We had the rack of lamb from menu and both daily specials: filet mignon topped with two fresh scallops and the swordfish in a lobster cream sauce with baby shrimp. Topped with signature dessert of Xanago cheesecake wrapped in thin tortilla and deep fried. We also had the creme brulee one of the best I have ever had and of course we couldn't leave without completing this Greek experience with baklava. Amazing food, amazing service resulted in an amazing night. Pricey but oh so worth it!”

Trail Dust Steak House
Dec 11, 2006 by Kimberly from Denver, COlorad

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1
Food:[1] • Service:[1] • Atmosphere:[8]

  • The band and the slide.
  • Food, management, wait staff, host staff .

“One of the worst dining experiences in all my years of living in Colorado. We have been to the trail dust many times but never again after this. The food was overpriced and undercooked or overcooked, minimal dressings on salad, has to ask for more, minimal dressings for appetizers, onion rings and mushrooms over breaded and most of the appetizers on the plate were cold. The kid¿s macaroni and cheese, cold. The pepper steak bland, the ribs to chewy. We had been told that we couldn't bring a birthday cake in by the host staff so we ordered a half sheet. What came was a full sheet of the worst cake every made. Very dry and $32.00. I did not see the bill because we were celebrating a birthday but it was over the top. I believe we were charged for refills and the wait staff never let us knows among many of the things that went wrong. Our waiter had two many tables and we spent the evening with plates stacked up. When we were told by him that we could go to the front and get balloons, the hostess was one of the rudest individuals I have ever come across in the food industry. When asked to speak to a manager when done with a birthday celebration that was ruined and all had left, she offered us "desserts" when we returned. Why would we return after being treated so poorly and the food so bad? I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are too many family friendly places to go in Denver. ”

Food:[8] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[9]

  • Loved the live music, staff, and fun atmosphere.
  • It could be too loud for some occasions.

“The restaurant is a great family place. Plenty of fun for the kids, and live music to dance to for the adults. The service was excellent, fast, and delicious. Definitely a place to revisit!”
