“My husband and I have gone to gelato for years and it seems to be going downhill. The prices used to be somewhat reasonable and you used to get good, friendly service. The last two or three times we've been there we've had to wait ages for a table, even with reservations. Their prices have gone up and their service has gone down. Just last night I ordered a Xiao seafood plate, which was grilled scallop, shrimp, and halibut on a skewer (notice I wrote the word 'scallop,' not 'scallops'), along with some mixed vegetables and potatoes (I opted for the potatoes rather than the rice). It was $29.00 and there was barely any fish on the skewer! My husband asked for extra chimichurri sauce for his skirt steak (which turned out to be a cheap cut of flap steak) and they charged him $2.25 for it (which isn't a lot of money, but it's ridiculous that they charged for it in the first place). To top our experience off last night, my dinner came out with something I had specifically told the waiter I didn't want, and I had to wait 10 extra minutes for the plate to come back (and meanwhile, my husband was eating his dinner - he had just about finished when my plate arrived again).”

“Used to like Fin's, but recently it has slipped. The food is fair, not worth the price. Service is inconsistent. Occasionally, they'll have some decent music on the weekend. The bar definitely needs a TV.”

“The primary cuisine is Brazilian with a bit of northern Italian thrown in. The Brazilian fare is authentic, flavorful and simply wonderful. This restaurant would do well serving the same menu in Rio or Sao Paulo. The house menu is reasonably comprehensive and reasonably priced. However I found their practice of publishing a long list of specials, with no prices, to be rather underhanded; especially when our waiter did not know the individual prices of the specials. He offered to find out for specific dishes if we would list them for him. We did. For a few. The prices were $10 or higher than a similar item on the house offerings. Apart from this unnecessary deceptive practice our experience was outstanding.”

“This place is set beautifully on Westlake Lake and the food is superb. They have the best pot stickers I have ever had and their sushi is very impressive. They have a wide variety of food so the kids will be able to find something they like. Overall, it is my favorite lunch spot.”
