User Reviews for Solvang Restaurants« Go back to Pocomoke City HotelsResearch User Reviews for Solvang (1-14 of 14)Cafe Angelica
“The food was fantastic! The wine was great! But the service for us was not good. It was like we weren't even there. They let some folks come in with their ankle biter dogs and that to me is very unacceptable! Maybe if we had one we would have been treated better. What if we had come with our pets cats? We asked to see what desserts they had and they never showed us! What's up with that!”

“Great service, food was also good, the setting was great with outdoor patio and glass building. Would go back again. A must see in Solvang for great food.”

“I arrived, just after closing time. There was absolutely no problem accommodating me. I had perfectly cooked lamb chops and vegetables. The soup and entree were served in a Danish style as you would expect. With a beer, the total was under $20!”

“I went to this restaurant two weeks ago with my family, and I got to say it wasnt half that bad it was actually pretty good. I had their prime ribe with home made mashed potatoes and it was awesome. My husband had a Danish combo and it tasted fabulous!! My mom had the kabob beef, and my dad had a chicken gordon blue with rice. We had a good time and our waiter was pretty funny sure he had a weird accent but he was nice. Overall this place great!”

“I went to this restaurant around five months ago, and I have to say it wasnt that bad! I and my girlfriend went there for dinner. I had their chicken kabob special and it tasted just like my moms home made Lebanese kabobs! My girl friend had their Danish meatloaf, I tried some and it was okay I think the dark cabbage was the best part. And we both had glasses of merlot. I recommend this to anyone who wants a good dinner but pay low prices!”

“A nicely decorated restaurant, a talented pianist, a great wine selection (try the Au Bon Climate Pinot Noir if you like a peppery wine or the Sangiovese if you want something less bold but equally flavorful), and a rack of lamb that is simply wonderful. The fillet mignon is also very good...with this savory sauce on it that adds to the great flavor of the meat. The creme brulee is very good too. This is a great restaurant. The entire meal with wine cost me just over a hundred bucks for two people.”

“The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very romantic. For the overall package, it's reasonably priced.”

“We ate dinner here during the Wheels and Windmills Car Show on August 26, 2006. The service was excellent. We had the smorgasbord. The food was good but the hot food was not hot enough. The salads and other entrees were great. We ate at 4 pm so got lunch price, $1.50 less than dinner. We would eat here again.”

“While attending the Wheels and Windmills Car Show on Aug. 26. 2006 we ate at the Solvang Restaurant. The breakfast that we had was delicious. The able skivers were the best part. We will eat there again when we visit Solvang. ”

“This is a place where you do not "eat," you dine. It is cozy and comfortable, well-staffed with knowledgeable people, and the owner or chef is extremely friendly. We try to get up to Solvang several times a year, and we make Cabernet Bistro a MUST for dining for at least one evening in town.”

“We had a great chicken Marcela on the patio facing the street. It was wonderful!”

“This place has the best abelskivers. The service was amazing considering there was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant at brunch time. The seating is a bit crammed, hard to have a normal conversation without the surrounding area hearing all about it. But overall, great experience.”

“Excellent Food. Very quaint and romantic. Worth every penny. Spinach Ricotta Ravioli is divine.”
