• The country-quiet ambiance and its style, no rush, polite people.
• Nothing, it's just fine as it is.

“I love this cafe, built (1887) remodeled (1916) If its good and fine enough for me. I'm very comforted by all of its surroundings, Santa Clarita, Saugus, Valencia and Canyon Country and love each moment. I breathe that clean air and enjoy the blue skies. When I lived there; I'd drive up a few miles to Castaic Lake just to lay in the sun 30 minutes and then go to work at Magic Mt. Life is good with good people and so are the Saugus Café, well done cheeseburgers and extra onions!”

• The service, Sally our server is friendly and pleasant.
• The salt!

“I have been a Le Chene regular for years but the last several times have been very disappointing. The food has been very salty. The quality of food appears to be dropping. I am not as enthusiastic as I once was.”

• Saugus Cafe has the greatest customers out of any restaurant I've ever worked.
• Due to business being slow we are no longer open 24/7.

“As the manager of the Saugus Cafe I would like to point out to some of you haters that your right we are not perfect neither are all of you. As far as cleanliness goes, it would be awful, hard to keep an A rating if the restaurant was not clean. The Saugus Cafe looks better now than it ever has. Sure we get busy and people have to wait a little while but show me a restaurant where you can get service right away on the week-end. Well, enough of all that, I would like to thank all of our regular customers for their support and at the same time invite some of you new comers in to give us a chance to show you just how hospitable we really are.”

• People seem to know one another.
• Food prices, food quality.

“A very good restaurant 5-10 years ago, lost its touch with the students at College of the Canyons and Cal Arts by not providing them a friendly place to visit and stay. They still go because sometimes it is the only place open at 3 in the morning. Some old timers give it character and people seem to know one another. Management screwed up a restaurant that was welcoming to all and had great food. Now it is expensive, the food is mediocre and nobody knows when it is open or closed.”

• No ambience (so what).

“One of the best Chinese restaurants in Santa Clarita, where I have lived since 1991. Like the food at a number of other local Chinese eateries, all the dishes do not taste the same. The food is flavorful and very consistent (been dining there for years). And one of the best things about Moon Wok is that not only do they deliver, but the food consistently arrives hot and tasty. We don't live that close to the restaurant, either. Like the other review states, don't go there looking for atmosphere. If you want a well prepared meal served by attentive staff at a reasonable price, then Moon Wok is the ticket. The establishment is located in a strip mall off the "beaten path."”

• Bartender.

“In our two visits to this we had a wonderful dining experience - excellent food and service. However, the bartender needs to take a "happy pill" as on both occasions he was brusque and unfriendly. Otherwise, a fine dining experience will be had.”

• The fast and friendly service, great tasting food.

“My family and I love it here. We go quite often. The portions are huge. The lunch specials are a great value. Every dish is excellent; our favorite is "house delight". We can never decide what to order so we always get too much, great for leftovers the next day. Service is good, very attentive. They will cook anything special to order. Food is always fresh and served quickly, piping hot. The atmosphere is ok, not what you go here for though. Go for the food, you'll be back.”

• I cannot find anything positive to say.
• Bad customer service, Do not make cake as ordered.

“Do not make cakes properly as ordered. Do not give you the contact information for the store manager or owner to receive a refund for their mistakes. Bad customer service and no apology for their mistake.”

• Food, Service and Fair prices.
• The ambiance is almost non-existent. Very simple place in nice area.

“My family and I eat at Moon Wok at least once a week. We can't decide which of the meals is our favorite because each time we try something different, we like it a lot. This is an outstanding restaurant with very good service, excellent portions and reasonable price. The ambiance is not what you go there for. If you want great food served very quickly in a leisurely setting, this is the place. We have been to much pricier places and wished we would have gone to Moon Wok instead, and that includes some Beverly Hills restaurants.”

• Management tried to remedy the rude behavior of a waitress.
• Terrible service.

“The food is just okay but nothing special, the service, however, is horrible. Our first visit, the waitress got the order wrong but handled it okay. Our second visit, we waited 30 minutes for a table no big deal, it was a weekend morning and they were busy but then we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for our waitress to acknowledge us, when she finally did loved the bright red lipstick on the teeth. She was so rude that we got up and left the restaurant and will never return. The manager offered to pay for our next meal but it's not worth another visit, too many other great restaurants in the area.”
