Cafe Napoli Rest & Pizzeria

• Delicious food, good value, friendly service.
• Wait for a table on the weekends!

“Cafe Napoli has the best Italian food in the area and in a family atmosphere. Very friendly service and the cooks greet you when you enter. Portions are not human - prepare to split an entree and don't fill up on the delicious bread (hard to stop eating it!).”

• The people are so friendly and playful. The chefs teach you how to catch shrimp in your mouth! I caught three.
• I wish I could eat there everyday and it was closer to where I live.

“Tiny hole in the wall restaurant, with no ambiance whatsoever, which consistently provides incredible, authentic Dominican Hispanic foods. Great roast pork with Chickarees, beans, and yellow rice. Home made flan and plantanos, roast chicken, and so on. Makes you think you are back in the islands. The wait staff speaks both Spanish and English.”

“Do not judge a book by its cover! The quick red fox is an enlightening experience for the weary business traveler. The locals in this establishment are very friendly and willing to welcome out-of-towners for spirited conversations regarding politics, world events, and sports. Take a seat at the oversize bar with comfortable chairs or one of booths for fresh and available at surprisingly low prices.”

• Wine list, as spectators best, steak fritter, crab cakes, creme Brule.
• Low lighting, not enough seating on outdoor terrace.

“A lot can be said, from the valet, hostess, server, sommelier to chef everything was absolutely great. It was nice to have the chef visit our table, chef Dogan's staff presented an experience that I thought could only be had in much larger city's. Wilmington is a little jem between Washington and Philadelphia.”

• The warm bread and dipping oil, though it's getting too predictable.
• It has the atmosphere of a restaurant that is getting weary of its theme.

“Having gone to Macaroni Grill at least once a month for the past few years, it now seems like a restaurant on the downslide. Some wait staff seemed rushed while others seem not to care about the customers, the food has become too predictable with smaller portions, and the management seems to focus on excuses rather than quality. Previously, when told, without apology, that the wait could be an hour, we may have waited around. Now, it simply isn't worth it. I imagine pretty soon it will be remodeled with another brand replacing it. Too bad, but we won't return to Macaroni Grill.”

• Bad overpriced food with poor service.

“The only thing worse than the food at Walter's is the service. This is a restaurant that has outlived its usefulness. The food we were served was not even edible. Could not chew the fish. Steak was not cooked properly and also very tough. This place is a bust.”

• I liked that the waiter we had twice still remembered us the next time we came in and said Hello.
• When I tried to reheat my leftover fettuccini Alfred, it was kind of nasty.

“I am not a traveler to Wilmington, I live here. I go to Romano's Macaroni Grill at least once a month with my best friend and we both love it. The best part is the bread and olive oil they give you before your meal. It is amazing. Plus, the wait staff if very friendly. The food is great and it is not overly priced. If you are in town, or live around here, you should try it.”

• Love the oreo cookie "fluff stuff" on the salad bar...addicting!
• Not a place for a quiet evening out

• Excellent Italian cuisine
• Lack of space takes away from "quaint", intimate atmosphere

“I have eaten many times at Lamberti's, with spouse & with friends. The food is great, service is good & wait staff has great recommendations. Excellent wine selection. Desserts are incredible. Most serving sizes are huge for what you pay for. Tables can be kind of close, esp on a busy night, making it hard for an "intimate" dinner.”
