“8/16/08 - Excellent - 3 couples - service was fantastic, food absolutely marvelous, staff - awesome. My husband and I moved to DE from NJ last August and hadn't seen our NJ friends in 6 years (we stay in contact via email). They made the arrangements and we had such a wonderful time! The food was so good. After dinner we sat outside by the fire pit, drinking, laughing, reminiscing (?) and watching the planes. The staff was awesome, they took care of us like we were regulars and now Air Transport Command Restaurant is our meeting place every other month. It's a museum restaurant of past flyboys! You must go there.”

• Have the best cheese steak, which is why you went in the first place.
• There are NO negatives

“I've been returning to the Dog House for more than 30 years, whenever I am within 25 miles. I always get the steak, no cheese, with-with. That means extra fried onions, but they don't want you to talk their talk. What this place is about is getting your order to you, exactly the way you want it, as fast as humanly possible. Family members rave about the turkey-breast sub, and the pizza. I've only eaten the steak with no cheese.”

• I really love the food. Some of the best crabs I've ever had. Every time!

• The chips there were not too bad.
• The service.

“Well, excuses me typing but I wondered down the new castle hoping for sum quality food and all I got was this. It wasnt like the food was miserable; it was the lass who served me. The manager had the bullocks to kick me out, is that any way to treat the customer.”

• The atmosphere and the spicy chicken.
• The lamb was a tad well done.

“Fantastic dining experience! 7 courses of some of the best food I've ever had. Great atmosphere! Low tables, eat with your hands and watch belly dancers!! Try the Moroccan wine with dinner.”

• I loved the food.
• Had to wait a little while for the food, but that's expected because burgers are made to order.

“The fries are awesome. I ordered fries with cheese on the side and never got to the cheese because the fries were so good... and the burgers wooo.. made to order perfectly cooked absolutely scrumptious and I can't neglect to mention their milkshakes thick and yummy the best in Delaware. If you're looking for a place to grab a great burger and fries and a milkshake, don't hesitate to go there inexpensive and incredibly tasty!”

• Good stuff.
• If you want a seat at the counter, forget it long wait.

“Pizza good as well. It's been there forever which should speak volumes. Every time we pass through Delaware we MUST stop for a "DOG". The place is like a tradition for us. If you are looking for linen tablecloths, fine wine and a maitre. If you are looking for an outstanding hotdog to-go in your travels up or down I-95, this is the place for you. Good and greasy and YUMMY.”
