• Very reasonable prices, and best pizza around.
• No delivery.

“The best place for pizza in the area by far. Chicken Franchese is a great dish if you are not in the mood for pizza. Family owned and operated for decades, you can't get more authentic than these guys! Nice dining area but not fancy by any means. They recently upgraded the interior which is a nice change. It was great value for the dollars and the large meals for little dollars. It is great for families.”

• We have never been disappointed with anything on their menu.
• Hard to get in on Mother's Day.

“We stopped in for brunch with our two children, ages 8 and 2. The service was very family friendly with an offering of activity placemats, books and puzzles. The food was excellent. The Belgian waffles and pancakes are homemade and very light. We have eaten there many times and have always had freshly prepared food - salads, omelets, sandwiches. Their homemade cheesecake has quite a reputation as well as the puddings. The place was renovated a few years ago. What a difference! It's clean and beautiful, great outdoor patio too.”

• The general two chickens are the best I have ever had.

• They are competing with the Todd English's of today.
• Nothing!

“Best restaurant in the area! location is in Huntington center, not dumpy at all, they updated the inside about a year ago, and it's very nice. but what is most important, is the food & service. the food has great presentation and flavors, they are competing with the Todd English's of today, and if you don't agree then you don't know food!! the service is friendly and makes you feel at home. never have I had a 'less than exceptional meal' I go every weekend if I can get in! that speaks for itself! the place is packed!!”

• I love that they make it exactly how you want it.
• You have to eat in the car, or sit on the steps or wall. Some outside seating in summer would be great.

“Offers delicious soft-serve or hard packed ice cream in cones, sundaes, splits etc. Many toppings and flavors available. Although it is no longer a Carvel, the taste is similar and the boxed products are much the same. The kids who work there are all friendly and customer oriented. The owner, who seems to work only during the day, can tend to be moody and is not as generous with portion size.”

“This is a fairly classy place. 2 people came to open to front door when we arrived. A 3rd person arrived to greet us into the marble entryway. They were thoughtful in seating us as we had an infant with our party of 5 adults. We were promptly seated, and 3 people tended to our table immediately with water, menus, and daily specials. Orders were taken as soon as we were ready. The wine arrived almost immediately. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. All throughout dinner, we received much attention. The food was well-prepared and well-flavored and at times divine. This is probably one of the nicer places in Connecticut with exceptional service, food and ambiance. As this restaurant is fine dining, it's probably not ideal for kids. It's hard to believe the other reviews are talking about the same Il Palio. We highly recommend Il Palio even though it can end up being a pricey evening. (reviewed on June 2, 2006). ”

“I thought Il Polio was a wonderfully romantic and special place. Very formal, if you like that sort of thing, which on special occasions I do. Something to keep in mind, there has been an overhaul of the management, so people who didn't like it before might want to give it another chance. Also the Veal Scaloppini is amazing!! Loved it!”

• All the seafood dishes are great.
• Dumpy location, that you have to get past when you bring guests for the first time.

“Never had a bad mean there. The specials overwhelm the menu, so hold off on reading it until you hear the specials. Great desserts too.”

“long wait to be served drinks and in between courses.....in other words poor service for such a pricey meal that is soso.....Unprofessional staff....STAY AWAY...not worth the price....Wellington's is a much better restaurant all around.”
