“I agree with the other review. We have noticed that the Pizza is always undercooked. Not that great. Also, the burgers are not very good. And be aware that upstairs they have a flat screen TV showing the movie Mystic Pizza. It's not exactly a kid friendly movie.”

“Overprice and tasteless. Avoid this trap and do yourself a favor. Definitely a place that reminds one that cost doesn't reflect product.”

“Very poor service and very poor food. Management does not care at all. If you choose to eat here, please note that at the top of the hill behind the Steak Loft is a McDonald's. Plan on stopping there to get some good food to eat.”

“I have always remembered this tiny eatery that we had a very good breakfast. The portions were large, very tasty and very reasonable. The service was very friendly and personable!”

“A very quaint romantic restaurant. Good menu with a good selection. Good wine list & fair prices. I had the roast duck that was the best duck that I ever had in a restaurant. The tables are far enough apart to allow a conversation without bothering anyone. This restaurant is a must for any visitors in the area. .”

“The food is ok. Nothing great. I had a pasta dish with seafood. The fish and shrimp were overcooked. My partner had a pasta dish that was so thick with Alfred sauce that ruined it. The wines are overpriced (about 3 times retail price in liquor store). The worst part of it all was the space. The tables and chairs are so jammed together that the servers cannot get between the tables. There was 6 inches max between the backs of the chairs. The ceilings are low and the noise is awful. Plan on shouting if you want to be heard at your table. The greatest part of the dinner was when it was over and could go outside to peace and quite and space.”

“The best fried clams in all of new England!”

“We won't go back! Hubby, sister & I went to s & p to do some celebrating. Without reservations we had to wait over an hour and that was fine as we went upstairs to have a glass of wine at the bar overlooking the bridge and water. We were less than disappointed with a poor wine selection and knowing my wines dare I say it. I dare! ”

“Mystic McDonalds has to be the dirtiest McDonalds I have ever been in. I have witnessed so many incidents of poor hygiene. It is scary. Handling money and then food. Sneezing on their hands and then continuing to handle food running their fingers thru their hair and then handling food, pushing a broom around while people are sitting there eating, dirty hand, black finger nails and the list goes on and on. Stop by some day and see for yourself. The best time to go is late in the evening when they blast rap music on their portable "boom box".”

“We visited this restaurant in September 2006, the waitress was surly, the waiter over familiar. It was a massive disappointment parts of the order were missing, when we politely inquired where they were , we were ignored. very strange service bit like Basil Faulty of Faulty Towers. The food literally thrown at us. We are British, where the food and service is meant to be inferior, never have I been anyway as strange and unfriendly as this place. Mystic itself was nice.”

“The manager was really rude to me and my Fiancee. We were planning to have 40 guests in the restaurant the day after our wedding and told us he had to go and walked out on us in the middle of speaking to him. I left my name and number and he was yet to get back to me. I was really disappointed.”

“As a business traveler, I'm always on the look-out for good, local dining. I recommend Bravo. It's on the high-end for prices, but well worth it. Good wines served in appropriate glasses and well-prepared meals from a diverse menu. I am a vegan and they accommodated me with a delightful pasta tossed in olive oil & seasonings with perfectly sauteed mix of squash, mushrooms, broccoli & other veggies. My dining partner had the grilled salmon which she said was also perfect. A great find in this quaint seaside community.”

“Although Mystic Pizza is famous, it is definitely not for the foods taste. We waited at least a half an hour for one simple pizza. The decor was nice though.”
