“The place used to be good a few years ago, but the people that manage the place now are doing a horrible job. The food is very greasy and average at most. The service is poor and the staff is extremely rude. I ordered a burrito and instead got something else; when I told the girl that works there, that this is not what I ordered, she gave me a look and said: oops, if you want something else, you have to pay for it. Youve got to be kidding me; all I wanted was something that I already paid for. When I asked to talk to the manager, I was told no. I was stunned at the rudeness and complete disregard to the customer service. I also left a decent tip before I ordered the meal (La Cantina is sort of a fast food place and you pay before you get your food). Never will I go to this place again, and I will dispute the charge with my credit card. Please, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! Its foul!”

• Theft from wait staff!

“Caution! My friend and I went to eat lunch at vendettas. When we paid by credit card, we made the total an even dollar amount so the tip was a few dollars with random change. However when I got home to check my credit card balance, both mine and my friend¿s cards were overcharged! The total billed to us was almost five dollars more than we had signed for. The wait staff had altered our bills to increase their tips. Beware. Check your statements or pay with cash.”

“Although the food was excellent I wish I could say the same for the service. As we were going to sit down a gentleman told us they were only serving appetizers/pizza. We said fine we would have cocktails and an appetizer then order dinner when they started serving again at 5:30. He told us to sit anywhere and he would send someone out. That never happened. When a server finally came outside(20 minutes later) she apologized and served us well. We had to close that bill at 5:30 and get a new server for dinner. At 5:30 and within minutes 3 tables around us were approached with wait staff and we sat without menus which we eventually had to ask for. After sitting with the menus and waiting for another 20 minutes someone came to us and made excuses for our not getting served. No apology ever came only excuses. What could have been very pleasurable dining experience turned out to be very disappointing . Even the wonderful food couldn't make us for the lousy service. Even worse was that no know could apologize for the lack of service . In fact we would have accepted an apology however we only got excuses. ”

• Bathrooms are small.
