Deli Italia
Apr 7, 2008 by Sheri from Thornton

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • My favorite place ever! Worth the trip if you are not in Lakewood.
  • There is nothing bad about this place.

“The most amazing personalized service, food to die for; you can't get anything like it anywhere else. Try the fresh Mozzarella. The marinated eggplant is my favorite. Great Bread, great selection of foods to take home too. They'll usually do custom orders if you ask.”

Sunrise Sunset Inc
Jun 13, 2007 by Anne from Grand Junction

Overall Rating: 5 User Rating Score: 5
Food:[5] • Service:[6] • Atmosphere:[3]

  • Waitress was nice, food came quickly.
  • Small tables, noisy, felt cramped and rushed.

“We had heard radio ads for Sunrise Sunset for a few years and decided to try the one on Wadsworth. The tables were packed tightly into the space and they were small. The place was very noisy--lots of loud guys and crying babies. The waitress forgot about us, but recognized that fact and camped us a coffee to help make up for it. Hype notwithstanding, the breakfast was not that great. The food was average.”

Cafe Jordano
May 21, 2007 by Mike from Lakewood, CO

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9
Food:[10] • Service:[8] • Atmosphere:[6]

  • Long wait to get in.

“Great northern Italian cuisine at a very reasonable price (most expensive meal about $14). The buffalo Jordan (buffalo scallopini in a delicate cream, mustard, and cognac sauce) is to die for. The eggplant parmigiana is thinly-sliced and crisp, not the usual soggy mess found in most Italian restaurants. Any of the dishes named after employees are delicious and always a good bet. The various wine and cream sauces used in the entrees are one of the specialties of the restaurant, as is the tiramisu, which they tend to run out of by mid-evening. Limited, but reasonable wine list. The line forms outside about 30 minutes before opening time, and is present until at least 8 pm, so expect to wait 20-40 minutes for a table. Have a glass of wine while waiting and has the rest of the bottle delivered to your table after you're seated. Reservations are only accepted for parties of 6 or more, and incomplete parties are not seated. Not a lot of ambiance, but the staff is friendly and efficient (considering how busy this place is). Family friendly, but is aware that the kids may get bored while waiting for a table. Been eating here for about 20 years, and the quality has held up despite the restaurant doubling in size. Probably the best Italian food in the Denver area, but mostly known to locals. Always a hit with friends and business associates I¿ve taken there, especially out-of-towners.”

Joe'S Crab Shack
Nov 23, 2006 by Glen Johnson from New Orleans

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[8] • Service:[9] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • The out door deck with the view of Denver was spectacular.
  • Not inexpensive.

“I came into SIMMs landing not expecting what I received. The view, service and food were wonderful. The ambiance was romantic and warm. The concierge told me that I would not be disappointed and I was not. Next time in town I will visit again.”

Chicago
Mar 24, 2006 by Joey bagadonuts from Chi-town

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[8] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • Food is great, atmosphere is all Chicago.
  • Sometimes slow service and imports are not cheap. But worth the wait and price.

“If your joining for an Italian beef (jardinière peppers and wet) or a combo, or a real authentic dog (bright green relish included) you must go here. Everything is perfect Chicago style, you can even get Fannie May and Salerno desserts. This is the only real Chicago food I ever had outside of Chicago and in some cases the beef sandwich is better! ”
