Sushi Zono Japanese Restaurant

• Great sushi & people.
• Sometimes the wait is long, but worth it. Closed on Sundays.

“Delicious sushi, awesome family run staff, great atmosphere, friendly customers, awesome tataki appetizers & ALISU roll (named after the owners daughter). Everything is super fresh. Its worth the price you pay no matter what I happen to order a lot when I go there so it gets a little pricey. For travelers anything goes. I am picking couples without kids because I prefer not to hear them screaming at dinner time (I don't have any of my own).”

• The hearty food.
• The decorations.

“Really good Greek lemon soup, only place that still serves it since Zorba's went out of business. Nice staff, weird decorations. Diner style atmosphere but updated style to resemble Greek/modern "architecture". Food is really good if you're looking for something hearty & not watching your weight. I prefer the lemon soup & I haven't gotten anything but that in a long time. (Note: Lots of old couples).”

• Been here many times. Never been disappointed.

• I learned from experience
• The service is worse than McDonald's

“I recently moved to this area and have been repeatedly disappointed with the food at this Outback and, more importantly, the service. If you'd like to sit down and eat, bring a travel game because the wait is a severe one (even on a wednesday late afternoon). But waiting your food is the real test of patience.. My party watched another party (who was seated no less than 15 minutes after us) receive their meals.. When I politely inquired about the delay with our server.. she flew on the offense and said, "I dunno, why are you guys in some sorta hurry?" And I quote: "It'll be here soon". She didn't go to check on it, apologize, or even seem concerned.

I asked for a different server and when we received a more pleasant one, she explained that they had made multiple mistakes on our orders and had to re-start the meals. No one had informed us. When our food did reach us, the meals that had not been re-started were dry from sitting out and not up to standard anyway. The service is lousy... please go to Outback on Blossom Hill Rd (it's not that much farther and they're way better)...

And don't get take-away either.. The people who bring you your food shortchange you and are rude if you don't tip them.”
