“Great Italian food traditional red sauces, fantastic pizza, some unique/innovative dishes. Plentiful portions. Service is always slow, and you often have to ask for everything (i.e. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil for the bread; water, etc.) Ambiance is slightly eclectic /tacky but it's a great place for great food! The owner greets each patron and is sincere in his friendliness.”

“Typical entrees ran about $20. The Polo Di Medici I had was good, but half a breast not pounded enough to remove the connective tissue and so was tough. Service was spotty, long waits for drink refills, rolls, etc. In fact the waiter didn't ask if we needed anything until time for dessert. We passed on that. It used to be a very nice family style restaurant but expanded added music (a spotty horn player) and doubled the menu prices. The food wasn't that good and the service was lacking. Wasn't asked for type of salad dressing and when I asked for red sauce on my pasta I got the same white sauce as everyone else. It was good, but I did request red.”

“Bartender is quite frankly one of the best bartenders in the world let alone mission Viejo. Mai & Marcia are fantastic waitresses and smoking hot 2.”

“The pizza is the best but I do like the salads especially the grilled chicken salad. The toppings and portions are generous. There is a large variety of foods from which to choose. The place is casual and comfortable. There are several TV¿s for sport fans. The service is pretty good too. I make it a point to go by there when I am in town. The lunch specials are very reasonable and filling...”

“It's sort of a hole in the wall place. But, if you want to visit Mexico without a passport, eat here. It is more like food-from-Mexico than Mexican food. It's good, authentic, quality, a value, and crowded! You will be luck to get a seat on the patio furniture outside.”

“This is a hidden away gem. We live very close to this restaurant but because it's somewhat hidden some of our neighbors are not even aware it's there. All the better for us so we try and keep it our secret. Food and service are excellent and the restaurant decor is very nice. It's not too small yet not to large. It has a very comfortable, up to date, clean and warm ambiance. We have tried most of the menu and never had a dish we didn't like. We'd absolutely go here even if it was further away, having it down the street is just a terrific bonus.”
