• Delicious fresh creative menu!
• Sometimes there is no amaebi, uni, toro, etc. (But this is to be expected in certain seasons.).

“The food is delicious and very fresh. The wait staff and chefs are very friendly and kind. For $21 - $28 (lunch/dinner) one can select all you can eat and really fill up on delicious and healthy fish, seafood, eggs, soups, yakisoba, yakitori. The beers and sake are delicious. If you have a large appetite and love fresh seafood - this is the perfect place. Even if you are or know someone who only likes cooked seafood, there are many cooked items on the menu (although I would recommend to try the fresh shake or maguro). Definitely try the sake shooter (special item - 1 per AYCE customer) it is marvelous!”

• Good food, relaxing, romantic.
• Not so friendly staff.

“It was okay, I am pretty neutral on this one. The atmosphere was nice and quiet during a weekday evening. It was romantic and the music was relaxing. We ordered soup for two where you eat out of the same bowl - I thought it was cute and kind of amusing, although a little messy. The main dishes were good, not great but good, possibly due to us not getting there until later in the evening. The restaurant closes at 9 pm, and sure enough at 9 pm the lights were dimmed and the music was shut off. We got the hint and left.”

• Udon, albacore sashimi, tnt roll, oysters, miso soup - everything!
• Can get real busy/noisy with large families (lots of space so they can).

“I'm a regular here and absolutely love it. My favorite Japanese Restaurant EVER! The food is delicious and the friendly staff always makes me feel at home. I definitely recommend the Oyako Udon for a cold winter night. If you're lucky enough to catch them during their lunch hours, go for a bento box that you can select up to 3 items. Best bang for your $. The owner chef, makes this awesome garlic onion sauce for his albacore sashimi that makes it so good. I think I have almost tried everything twice. Never been disappointed.”

• The food was wonderful.
• A little crowded and noisy but for a small space not bad.

“Great food - four lunches were all great. Loved the ziti with Bolognese sauce. Topped my previous favorite Bolognese at La Dome in Aruba. Hope you will share the recipe. Simply prepared - simply delicious. ”

• The service
• The noise from the kitchen.

“I really liked the restaurant & the food, but there was too much noise from the kitchen. There isn't a door between the dining area and the kitchen, so you can hear everything that is going on. We heard a lengthy conversation about someone trying to get served alcohol who wasn't old enough. The voices were loud & it didn't make our dinner very relaxing. I don't know if I will go again.”

• Food.
• Only serve wine and beer no liquor.

“The restaurant is small but very personable. The staff is very friendly and the food is wonderful. My husband and I have enjoyed several evenings at Memos. Each time we tried a different entree and have yet to be disappointed.”
