“Mr.C was my #1 choice for Chinese Restaurant in Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The restaurant does not exist in this location any more. It was replaced by a sushi restaurant. Is anyone know where Mr. C went? ”

“I thought the place was fantastic. The TV's are the best big screens in town, an entire wall of screens, the food was tremendous and a great value. I had the focaccia sandwich. The service was very good and friendly and my girlfriend even loved the place, I am in heaven. A place to drink beer, watch sports and my girlfriend likes it too. I saw a lot of families eating and the bar crowd was up at the bar area, it seems to have something for everyone.”

• Cleanliness, flies were bad.

“My wife and I did not feel that this restaurant was clean. There were many, many, many black flies both outside AND INSIDE landing upon our food, beverages and ourselves! The next morning, both my wife and I experienced intestinal distress.”

“The food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent! Great eye candy too. The service was mediocre, a lot of buzzing around without purpose. My waiter reminded me of the guy from the Gilmore Girls with the overdone French accent. Mon Dieu!”

“I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant. Food was good when they first started business, not anymore. It's just average. Moreover portion sizes are reduced drastically and prices have increased a lot. Not value for money at all. Go there for an empty belly and wallet !!!!!”

• When its busy, plan on waiting a while.

“Unorthodox name, great Mexican food. If you like huge portions and come hungry, this is the only Mexican food stop you need to know. Not your standard out of the can Mexican food. The keywords here are fresh and lots of "cheese". They pile the stuff on like they make it in the back room. You will not be disappointed.”

• The price vs. quality of the food is unmatched in Scottsdale. Bravo!
• The service was a little slow, but maybe she was just having a bad night.

“AZ88 is a refreshing surprise of modern atmosphere and affordable yet inspired cuisine. Neon and marble make this restaurant a fun getaway for an evening out. I brought my 3 month old with me the first time I dined there and, though a little cramped, the experience was pleasant. ”

• The breakfast and lunch are very good. Everything is freshly made.
• No negative remarks.

“My husband and I have been to the Glazed Ham every time we vacation in Scottsdale. Everything is very fresh. The service people try to be accommodating. You go up and choose what you want from a menu. When done, they will bring it to your table. You serve yourself coffee or tea while waiting. In the early morning you can get homemade oatmeal which is my favorite. Their breads and pastry are delicious. Try it you won't walk away hungry. For lunch they make lovely salads. Their fresh cut up fruit always looks great.”

“If I had to use 1 word Superlative. I live in Chicago, noted for Italian eateries and frequently do business in NYC. I have dined in the finest restaurants in America. Tiramisu' in Scottsdale is the Best I have ever been to. The food is incomparable, and being personally taken care of by Serafino was a joy. Listen to his sage advise on wine and if you care for scintillating conversation he is a modern day DaVinci. What a joy.”

• I love the history of the place, it's been in comic strips!
• Like anywhere in AZ, the knickknacks need a dusting, but that's the closest thing to a negative I could find.

“Great food, huge portions, hard to find items like homemade banana bread, tea sandwiches, homemade chicken salad, etc. The ice cream is fantastic and comes in lots of flavors. The decor is black, white and pink, 50s style. The place has real history, ask when you visit. Last time I checked, there was a waitress there from 1968, she loved her first job so much, she was still there over 35 years later!”

• Very fun food. Well prepared and cozy romantic atmosphere.
• Waiter we had was a little questionable but maybe it's a aberration.

“I have been coming to gyros express since I was in high school (chaparall).. I am still their best customer and their food rocks. my favorite dinner platter is the gyros dinner and my favorite appitizer is saganaki . its a restaurant you have to go to don't miss out!”

• the best gyros and greek salad in arizona believe me i tried every where

“I found this place by accident next 2 pizza hut wow ordered the chimichangaga It was great it was a whole meal, And I have to admit I was surprised at how good it really was. makes my mouth kind of water thinking about will go there next chance I get .”

• atmosphere is good but a little funky

“My wife and I have had a favorite mexican restaurant in San Diego for years. While visiting friends in Scottsdale, we tried Los Olivos. It offers, BY FAR, the best mexican food we've ever had (and that was the consensus of all 4 adults at the table) and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is good - just feels a bit dark and cramped in one room but there are others to choose from. Service is friendly and attentive. We only regret that we live so far away... We've lived in NM for years so I believe we know authentic mexican...can't get it on the east coast anywhere we know. Move over San Diego, we've got a new favorite...”

• Beautiful restaurant
• I felt that the prices of the food and beverages were way out of line. The server never smiled or made us (4) feel welcome. No personality in the restaurant at all.

“I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are too many places with personality, great food and an ambience that would make you want to come back. Everything was way overpriced and not worth it.”
