• The salad.

“My wife was told that this was an authentic Italian restaurant, and with her being Sicilian, we had to try it. It started off with a great salad and bread, and that was all that was great. I had their trio, my fettuccine Alfredo was poorly microwaved and the broccoli was obviously frozen, the sauce on the penne with sausage would have been better if jarred, and the veggie lasagna was the best thing on the plate by default, and that is not saying much. The meat lasagna was bad enough, my 12-year-old stated that Stouffer is better. If this is the best Italian in the Phoenix area, I will only go to eat Italian in the Los Angeles area.”

• Wait time if you go on a holiday or weekend night.

“Riga Tony's is a fantastic family restaurant. They do great take out food as well. Try the baked rigatoni - you cannot go wrong. The salad is served antipasto in a bowl that you serve yourself. And the salad bowl can be filled again until you have your fill of salad. Desserts are great and all food is home made. A must try.”

“They were very accommodating for a large group and everyone had a great time. The servers were always very attentive and the food was very good - a great value for the money, especially their happy hour.”

• Good food at good prices--can't be beat! And close to Downtown Chandler.
• If it has a negative, it would be that it fills up fast on weekend evenings. Or that there is limited parking.

“If you are looking for a casual vibe (outside patio with sand floor, outdoor bar area, wooden wire spools for tables, etc.) with great food at reasonable prices -- THIS IS IT! They also have indoor seating for those few inclement days. You place order at counter and pay and they call you to pick it up. Those working there always have a smile on their face--the busier they are the more they smile. There is a server yourself relish bar with several levels of salsa, radishes, sliced limes, shredded cabbage, etc. to add to your meal. I'm a vegetarian and my husband a true carnivore and we are both happy here. Oh, and the margaritas-yum, yum. This is a one-of-a-kind restaurant that should be replicated over and over.”

• The mood, the food, and the people.
• The tables are close, which is not always for the best.

“Their food is fantastic!!! I've had the pleasure of dining there thrice times. My order came quickly and the server set it down with a smile. The food I received was gigantic, yet so delicious I ate everything on my plate just like my mom told me to do when I was younger only this time I didn't put up a fight. The cost at Florindino's is reasonable for the amount of food I have found even teenagers at the local high schools can enjoy without spending their entire weeks pay. I would recommend this restaurant to any one and everyone. Go enjoy the fabulous Italian food, and environment at Floridino's Pizza and Pasta!
