• Close to work.
• Poor service and food.

“I entered this restaurant to get a to-go plate. After being sick, all I wanted was some fresh vegetables and a cold Pasta Salad of some sort. I put some veggies in my plate and looked for the oil and vinegar. I was told the restaurant doesn't carry oil and vinegar, only Italian dressing which was bright yellow. What! restaurant doesn't have oil and vinegar? What do they cook in? There was no Pasta Salad of any kind. As soon as I approached the counter to check out, the hostess closed the drawer and took off for a back room. So I waited. When she finally returned, she weighed my food and told me it was $9.00. What! $9 for some tomatoes and cucumbers and a roll? And I didn't even get any eating utensils! I should have gone with my first instinct and left. I won't make that mistake again.”

• Best Chilly Rellano's known to mankind.
• Greasy food -- need to remodel, cleanup dining facilities.

“They have the best Chilly Rellano's that I have eaten anywhere, second to none. It is greasy, but nobody makes them better. The rest of the menu/food is so-so. The Tea has quite a caffeine kick to it.”

• I always enjoy the rice.
• Horrible service. Waitress was rude, and unpleasantly unprofessional. We weren't seated together. Rushed out.

“I recently went to Shogun with my significant other. I had been telling him for years how much I liked the food there. So we finally went. On the way to the table the waitress stopped to have a personal conversation before she seated us. We weren't seated next to each other. Instead my date had to sit next to a young boy who had been playing with his fork the entire time we sat waiting. (When we asked for another fork we were fed attitude). We were then brought the salad and soup I had been raving about. Not more than three minutes later did the chef come out to cook, and the waitress tried to take our soups and salads. Before asking she had already began to lift them from the table. The chef did his show and served our food. I always enjoy the rice. About five or six minute after the chef wheeled his cart way and we began to finally eat. Here comes the waitress with our checks, handing out fortune cookies, and asking us if we want to go boxes! I spoke up for our table and told the waitress we had just gotten our food and didn't know if we needed boxes yet. From then on she was even more unpleasantly unprofessional. I received no refills after that.”

“The food is great, the service is awesome, the girls are really sweet and on there toes. The Bartender is funny and everyone feels like a group of friends. It's like hanging out with your friends at night. Saturdays are great karaoke is fun and laid back.”

• Greasy. Awful salsa.

“I would not recommend going here. I am usually capable of finishing all of my food on my plate, but I was unable to finish even half of it because it was swimming in grease. I was disgusted. Also, the salsa tasted like tomato paste out of a can. I would not recommend this place to anybody.”

• Place looked kind of clean.
• The service was awful and the food.

“The service was slow. I came to the counter to order and the guy at the counter said that the guy outside the door who was talking to his girlfriend who take my order, so finally the guy came in to take my order then a lady came by and stated to the guy who was taking my order that the register was empty so I had to wait for the register to appear, no food yet given even a coke, finally I said hey forget it I will just go somewhere else, then the guy was taking my order said just a minute and came with a register draw. I paid and waited a bit longer, still waiting, oh food. I am starving. I try a fry in the car and its greasy cold, still hungry, so I rip into my Big Mac and there is so much special sauce that it's unreal. I try to eat it any way wiping it off on the bag and it's just full of it. I can't eat it. I give up.”

“Out of all the restaurants near work, this one is by far the top choice. Its relatively inexpensive and the food is great. I'd recommend it to families, travelers, and anyone looking for a nice atmosphere.”

• Manager was really great in making sure I had everything I needed. Service with a SMILE.
• Nothing really. Need more people like the manager on shift.

• Good service and atmosphere.
• Cook ruined food. Drowned it in soy and other sauces.

“Food ingredients were of good quality but the cook smothered the food with soy and other sauces. When he was done the food was no longer appealing. A total slop. I order the "jumbo seafood" and it was a shame on such good seafood was spoiled with the over abundance of added sauces. Two thumbs down.”

• Chicken fried chicken and marinated steak tips.
• None.

“The manager/bartender always greets you with a smile. He remembers what you drink and never lets your glass get empty. The food is awesome especially the country fried chicken. It is a great place to stop after work and relax for good food, good drinks and good friends. .”

• The waitress and manager both were very polite and wanted to know what could be done to correct error of undercooked burger.
• The Habanera Jack Burger ordered was sent to me 2 times undercooked.

“I went to the location in front of 'Books-A-Million' Im new to the area with a friend of mine who said she enjoys their food. Since Ive relocated to Huntsville, I try to taste the local flavor. I'm a big fan of a good burger and ordered the Habanera Jack Burger. I enjoy my meet cooked thoroughly especially my beef. The first burger wasn't cooked all the way through and when the head chef took it upon him/herself to cook my 2nd burger it came back more undone/pinker than the first. Not to mention the fries I ate didn't agree w/my body but that could be me and my diet; still doesn't make up for the undercooked burger that was presented to me 2 times. I've heard some good reviews about Beauregards restaurant but I believe that Ill stick to my Red Robin and chili's if I want a cooked burger.”

• Delicious sauces, and a good variety of dishes.
• Buffet menu does not change. Could be a plus.

“Great staff, small but clean restaurant. Good place to go on a weekend after a kids sporting event. The buffet far outweighs the carry-out, but a wonderful retreat worthy of local support.”

• The food and prices.
• I do not know anything negative.

“My husband found this restaurant when I was in labor at Humana Hospital (1992). Best Mexican food we have ever had! We have since moved from there to Houston and are now living in Minnesota, but we sure wish we had this restaurant up here. During lunch time the lines are very long and normally you will see lots of business people here also. I know this restaurant would do very well up here. ”

• Wings were nice and hot. Good sauce, meaty.
• Catfish was horrible. Ordinary frozen fries, yucky pig sandwich.

“Really standard, or slightly below standard quality of food. Wings were pretty good, but everything else was average or worse. Catfish was horrible, seemed to be a formed piece of catfish parts in a heavy crust. Never had catfish so bad. Service was average. We were at the newest location, but I'd expect the food to be the same at their other sites.”

• Great food, great bar, and great atmosphere.
• The kitchen closes at 9 p.m.; not a big deal but if you hungry late you are out of luck.

“In February 2007, I was here on business travel and stopped in for dinner. The food was delicious, plentiful, and not expensive. The servers were very courteous and professional. There is also a bar with a bartender. He has a super attitude and made everyone feel like home. The restaurant also has a patio outside, but it was a little chilly so no one was using it; must be great during the warm Southern evenings. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend West End Grill to anyone.”

• The meat, the potato salad, the cold slaw all is good and fresh.
• Not a thing

“My husband and I have eaten here several times, we really love this barbecue We will even take a pound of meat home since we only live 2 hours away so we can have some during the week. Little Paul has the best brabeque in Huntsville! ”
