• Meal in itself Baked Potatoes, Larry's Special Salads and BBQ Chicken, Ranch Dressing.
• Salad bar, French Fries.

“While living in Dothan for a year, between the "meal in itself" baked potatoes, the Larry's special salad with an unusual salad ingredient which makes in awesome, and the all you can eat BBQ chicken, this was absolutely my favorite place to eat in Dothan! The staff treats you like family, showing the true attitude of southern hospitality, and it's a great family environment! I highly recommend trying Larry's Real Pit Bar-B-Q!”

• Staff.
• Lousy French fries.

“My wife and I have been going to Larry's BBQ in Dothan since 2000 and enjoy the staff. In the past few months, the food quality and taste have gone down, the serving size has gone down, and the cost has increased. Others in Dothan, including business folks, have stopped going for this same reason.”

• The place was clean but it was brand new. Sushi was good.
• Waitresses, hostess, and manager were terrible. Wait was long, Menu misleading.

“Personally I haven't had a problem with this location of Mikata, But their sister restaurant that has just opened in Troy, AL is a different story all together. My family visited there and were treated to a two hour wait (mostly because the attendant didn't keep up with the numbering system they use to seat people). They made sure to sit all the perfectly random college students that came in after us but didn't bother to seat us or the poor people who were in line before us until the last seating of the night. Had it not been for my husband, we would have been out of there. After our two hour wait, the chef was average, the food sparse (unlike most Japanese steakhouses) and only after the tickets were brought to the table did we realize we were being charged for the chef to fry the rice.”

• Friendliness, cleanliness, attentive, great for kids to enjoy.
• One of the server there was very rude and had no personality.

“Went here with a friend recently and had wonderful food and a good time. I would definitely recommend to anyone that they at least come here once. It was honestly one of the tastiest meals I have ever had and the chef was great! Our kids enjoyed it also!”

“Love it. The best place by far to take a big crowd. Food and service is great and they are one big happy family. Building needs some freshen up though.”

• I really enjoyed Leaving the establishment.
• Poor Management.

“The things and wings food is Extremely Over priced for the quality and quantity that you get. The service was below average at best and The Management seemed to have the attitude that they were doing the customers a favor to allow them to eat there. Total Thumbs Down in my opinion!”

• No atmosphere, bad service.

“I was expecting so much more. The food was good. However the place seemed dingy, old with no atmosphere. The waitresses were horrid. Probably the worst service we have experienced in a long time. Overall I really was not impressed especially considering the price tag.”

• I will not be eating here again!
• Someone needs to let the staff know that she gets paid for taking care of customers.

“I ate at Taco Bell tonight and I had the worst experience ever first of all I sat at drive through for about 10-15 minutes. Waiting on someone to take my order, it never got taken so I pulled up to the window I could see this woman standing there like in the front as if she was getting ready to go she glanced over at me and I asked is anyone going to take my order! She looked surprised and said to me, no one has taken your order yet I said no I could hear her asking was the battery dead to someone else that was in the store. When she walked over to where I was I heard her saying why did you just take off the headphones how are the customers suppose to place an order. So I asked her for her name and she was very polite. She told me that one of the employees had got an attitude and took it off. I told her that I will be making a complaint and this will be my last night eating here and that they really need to get it together up there! I will not be eating at Taco Bell again.”

• Food, cleanliness, and atmosphere are fantastic!!!
• Seems the waitresses don't follow up on dinner drinks.

“We have been to Japanese's restaurants in several states including Hawaii. I personally have been to these type of restaurants in Japan. The two best we have ever frequented are Edo's in Jacksonville, FL and Mikata in Dothan. We have been to both numerous times and the food and drinks are excellent every single time. The only weakness at Mikata in Dothan is they don't seem to realize that a lot of customers prefer two drinks with dinner instead of one. You usually have to find your waitress to get that second drink. But other than that ,it is top flight !!!!”
