“I do not recall eating, but I will give Food a 10 because everything else lines up as such. It was 1999 when my road buddy Kidd and I set up camp on a Friday night directly across the street from Cassie's. The bar's neon glow and big doors just across the dusky highway called to us. We cleaned up and shambled across and set in for four or five hours of good drinks and good conversation with locals and people who were just passing through. Coming from the East and having never been to Wyoming before, I was not sure how we would be received, but people from wait staff to strangers were warm and kind. A three-piece country band played until about 11, then to my surprise the whole place turned into a hip-hop dance club, all the cowboys and cowgirls out on the floor, exchanging line dancing for soul grooves. I would visit this hotel again in a Heartbeat and hope to do so soon.”

“We came to this restaurant because our first choice, Higbee's, was closed, and found it surprisingly good. Our waitress was quick and dressed professionally. She made sure we had everything we needed, and was courteous to our every need. Our food was received quickly, mainly because the restaurant was not busy yet, but it was still very prompt service. The only complaint we had was that the food was a tad salty, but good overall. All in all, a good place to stop!”

“The food was decent but overpriced. There is no menu variety and don't even bother if you are a vegetarian. They don't even offer a dinner salad. I won't go there again. My server hardly even came by our table. I was very disappointed.”

“Cow town Cafe is a nice enough place to stop there. We stopped in September 2006 and were surprised about the food according to my wife the best egg, sandwich she ever ate in her life and the nice people there in Wyoming. For as, since coming from Europe, it was a very romantic place. Cow town Cafe is in our opinion on of the best examples of how beautiful small-town America can be. We loved it and will recommend the place whenever being asked.”

“We had heard the Winchester Steak House was good, but we weren't expecting great. The food was great, the drinks were great, the service was great, and not only were we having a great time, everyone was having the same experience. My big city cousins were with us and they are a hard crowd to please, especially about beef because they are from the Windy City, Chicago, but they raved about this place. We stuffed ourselves but still ordered desert and devoured it as well.”

“If you want a decent $20 steak this is your place. If you are looking for professional service that you would associate with an upscale fine dining restaurant then this is NOT the place to go. The Little Bear Inn is attempting to be something that is can't. Fine dining is nowhere to be found, however my steak was good. Our service was poor. Although we were one of five tables seated, or server hurried us along. Our food was served on cold plates, and we had to ask for refills of water and bread. Smoking is also allowed in their bar area, and could be smelled in the dining area.”

“I have often driven the 652 mile round trip to Cody, in one day, just to have a meal at this restaurant. I'm not a big eater, but quality is very important. Wife and I often share one meal, and take one to go which we freeze and eat later. This is my favorite restaurant anywhere!”

“The hotel we were staying at in Gillette recommended this place. It was great for our family - there were 13 of us and they really tried (and succeeded) in accommodating us. The food was good, reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was great fun. I highly recommend stopping here for a meal.”

“My friends and I have been there several times this summer '07. The food is good; although, the appetizers seem better than the main courses. The wine selection is decent. My major complaint is how poor the service is. Each time my party needed something or wanted to order a dish or desert, the wait staff was out of sight for 10 or more minutes. On one occasion, we finally received our bill and the wait person never returned to pick up our credit card, we ended up taking our bill to the hostess.”

“There are jobs all over Wyoming; maybe they are in other places also but I've never seen them. We stopped in for a quick breakfast and it was delicious! I ordered simple pancakes and scrambled eggs - the pancakes were hot - still steaming when served, the butter was soft - not frozen like at hop or Denny's, the syrup was also warm! My husband ordered a basic bacon and egg breakfast with toast - his toast was still warm when served, the eggs cooked correctly - we were very happy. Our waitress was friendly, fast, and efficient. Never once did she lean on the table and snuggle up to us and try to be our best friend like they do at the outback or so many other restaurants now days. She took our order, brought our coffee and then our food, refilled our coffee and then brought our check. We travel a lot and eat breakfast in a lot of your usual breakfast houses and are usually not pleased with something - usually the rock hard butter and/or cold pancakes. Our breakfast at jobs in Casper could not have been any better. It was a perfect way to start the day.”

“We went in at dinner time but they allowed us to order from the lunch menu. The food was absolutely delicious. All we wanted was a good burger and not only was this half pound burger cooked to perfection, it was served with home made French fries and a salad for under $10. It is possible it was under $8.00; I can't remember for sure. The dinner menu was extensive, a little expensive, but they are purported to have the best prime rib in Casper.”

“So disappointed. The beer is terrible! I thought the food was really overpriced. Last time I was here, I thought the place was ok, but this time it was horrible...the bartender was rude, my pizza was cold and I had to ask for the check three times. Many better places to go in Jackson.”

“For local raw and highly entertaining crowds, this is the place. I'm talking authentic and it has a long history and is full of characters that will make you smile. If you like to country western dance, Sunday night is the best. It's a scratched up, beaten up old cowboy hangout, and the people in it have stories that you won't hear at Fridays. I love it at the coach. I'm a big fan.”

“My co-worker and I had some business in Worland related to training. Anyhow, it quickly became part of our morning ritual to go to Millieżs drive-through coffee and tea shop because 1) the super-friendly gal who usually works there is capable of making even the grumpiest grins smile 2) they have the best vanilla spiced chain tea latte ever! Forget star bucks, or whatever other chain-store coffee joints you currently frequent. They don't have the texture, the frothiness, the richness, the subtle burst of joy that explodes within one's mouth when sipping Millieżs delightful concoction. I can only hope that Millieżs somehow opens a shop here in phoenix otherwise Iżll be forced to give up the drink entirely, having been spoiled to accept only the very best!”

“Best Chinese restaurant in the rocky mountain region, lunch buffet is delicious and very affordable. It is not your typical "microwave sweet and sour food" found at other Chinese restaurants. For dinner I recommend the #18 crispy chickens. I have eaten there for 15 years and I love the food.”

“Nice, friendly, romantic restaurant. Food was fabulous! Wait staff was very friendly. Always a pleasure to eat in a very reputable, family operated, cozy restaurant! Will return and recommend to everyone. Hands down the best in Casper and Wyoming for that matter. I have eaten in the "other" Italian restaurant in town and thereżs absolutely no comparison! Casper always enjoyable!”

“The Snake River Grill is the place to go if you only have one night in Jackson Hole. It is expensive but the food and the service are worth every cent. The wine list is excellent (over 10 options by the glass, most very reasonably priced). ”

“I have eaten here many times. 90% of the time, the food is excellent! Occasionally you get a grumpy waitress, but who doesn't! Again, 90% of the time, they are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is western rural, very casual. The smoking area is enclosed and in the farthest corner from the door. It has a small but nice and fresh salad bar. The soups are generally very good! Breakfast is served all day. I love that! ”

“I just called in a pick-up order tonight. The pot stickers were unavailable, because they were "too busy." So, I went with crab & cheese wantons and General Two's chicken. The wantons were doughy and flavorless. The chicken was a tough cutlet cut into pieces over broccoli in one container, with a mediocre brown sauce in a separate container. Expensive and lousy. I am going to be getting a fast food burger because I'm still hungry. ”

“Our party of six arrived to find about 4-5 of the 20+ tables in the main dining room occupied. Two waitresses were busing tables and wrapping silverware with napkins. One of them asked how many in our party then said we'd have to wait. She went to the kitchen, then came back and returned to silverware. We waited 5-10 minutes. Then a woman came out of the kitchen, looked at us, and shouted "table 2" to one of the girls. She shoved a stake of menus into the girls hands, and the girl took us to our table and took our drink order. We were seated in a secondary dining area, where there were about 12 tables and one other party. While the two girls came and went over the next 15 minutes or so, nobody took our order. Then the woman from the kitchen came out and took our order. I ordered pot stickers, which are a common Chinese appetizer. "Thirty minutes" the lady said. Now, as you know, you can order pot stickers in any Chinese carry-out and have them in less than five minutes. I asked why so long and she explained how they had to be taken out of the freezer and steamed and fried and "it take long time". So we skipped the pot stickers. I ordered a dish that was marked "hot and spicy". I said she could make it very spicy. She said "medium spicy or very spicy". I said "very spicy". She said "very spicy?" and I said yes. More time passed. Another party was seated. Carry out orders were coming and going during this time. Fifty (50) minutes after we placed our order, we received our food, for a total of one hour and ten minutes from the time we walked in the door. As we observed the workers we realized a couple of things: The proprietor, the woman from the kitchen, was taking orders, cooking food, and running the cash register. The other two girls were clearing tables and taking drink orders. Also, carry out orders were being handled very quickly. We concluded, it turned out correctly, that the woman in the kitchen was fulfilling carry-out orders before working on dining room orders. When we left, I asked why it took so long to get our food. She said "always busy on Friday and Saturday". I reminded her that this was a Thursday. "Oh, Thursday too." She said she was the only one in the kitchen, confirming our conclusion that she was doing it all while her two employees filled water glasses. I told her she needed to make better use of her employees and explained we had been there for over an hour before getting any food. She just waved her hands and walked away. When a carry-out customer interjected himself into the discussion saying the food was worth waiting for, I asked "who are you?" -- as in, why are you interrupting my discussion. At which point the proprietor turned to me and said "yeah, who are you?" and walked away. If you're a local Evanston resident, be advised that you're not getting anywhere near real Chinese food at this restaurant. The spicy dishes are not close to spicy and the curry dishes are too salty. You already know that you should order your food to go, so that you get served quickly. Those of us who make the mistake of sitting down get no priority in the kitchen. This is both the worst restaurant service I've ever had and the worst-run small business I've ever encountered. This woman will work herself into an early grave and still be an hour and a half late for her funeral while her minimum wage employees smile quietly and pile dirt on her coffin.”

“Anthony's is one of the original great restaurants in Jackson Hole. I lived there for some time and it was the place to go & it still remains delightful. The bread is to die for, the price for the quality is great - 4 delicious courses for 1 price! It even starred in a Clint Eastwood movie shot in Jackson. I always make Anthony's a priority stop when I go back to visit.”

“I've visited Country Buffet restaurants in other cities, but this restaurant is a cut above the others. The restaurant is very clean and the personnel take more interest in their customers. The food is good and the variety is awesome. On each of my visits I noted that restaurant personnel closely monitor the food area to insure that everything is fresh and well cared for. Restaurant seating is comfortable and not crowded together, and there is a feeling of leisure while you eat. The price of the buffet is modest and well worth the cost. Also, this restaurant is located in one of the larger malls in the Cheyenne area, so you can do a little shopping to work off the extra calories.”

“The Driftwood is a small restaurant with only a dozen tables and a few booths. It is the classic small town type of restaurant where everybody knows everybody. The waitresses are friendly and make you feel like one of the regulars. The service is good, which means your coffee cup is never empty. The food is very good. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am until 11:00 am. Lunch is served from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. The breakfast menu is simple but hearty. Two eggs (any way you want them), hash browns, bacon (four large strips), and toast (sourdough, wheat, white, rye, etc.) or biscuits (good, but not the best I've ever had) is only about $4.50. You can substitute sausage, ham, or hash. The breakfast menu also includes pancakes (very large and very good), French toast (homemade and good), and biscuits and gravy (respectable). The lunch menu has a good selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads. The driftwood also serves homemade pies (different each day). The driftwood is clean, the service is good and fast, and the food is served hot. It's a great place to eat if you live in Cheyenne or if you are just passing through. ”

“Read a review of this restaurant and decided to try it. It a great place. All sort of stuff on the that I had at home many years ago. The food was great. Nothing really fancy just great food. I had a hamburger that was 1/2 lb with onion rings cheese and just about every thing else you could ask for. wife had Al;frado with a Chicken breast that was big enough for lunch the next day. Plus I think the had at least 100 different kinds of beer.”

Unfortunately I can't remember our waiters name but his guidance on the food and wine menu was superb. It was an enjoyable and relaxing outing due to no pressure of sending us out the door, our waiter sensed we were there to enjoy our food and wine and accommodated our every need with excellent timing and service.”

“Chellos is a tiny Mexican restaurant located in west Laramie over the via-duct hidden within the residential area. There are about 6 -10 tables, booths and by all means it is not fancy. I lived here almost a year and hadn't even heard of it. The food is good, typical Mexican and the prices are incredibly cheap. Well worth it if you can find it. ”
