• LOVED the Grilled Catfish dinner!
• It was closed on Sunday afternoon when we wanted to go there.

“When you want home cooking and don't want to cook it, this is the place to go. Very comfortable, family oriented, and good food with fair prices. Glad to have it near my home!”

• Needs more room because the place was packed.

“What an excellent New York style Deli and not a deep fryer in sight! Meats are top quality, hot Sandwiches, Soups, great side items and a terrific desert selection. I had almost stopped eating out because all of it tastes the same after a while but this is truly unique. I also picked up a fully prepared meal of Beef Tenderloin and Garlic Mashed Potatoes to take home and enjoy later. The crew was friendly and helpful and there is also an terrific selection of unique gift items. Truly an oasis in a sea of junk food eateries.”

• GREAT German food, hard to find around here.
• No music! I expected music outside in the Biergarten.

“We visited The Rheingarten on a sunny September afternoon and chose to sit outdoors in the covered Biergarten. The Franziskaner could have been a little colder, but the food was excellent, hot, freshly prepared, and very authentic. I had the grilled bratwurst, Spaetzle with pork gravy, and their marinated red kraut; everything was yummy! They have a good selection of Schnitzels, Rouladen, Sauerbraten, a couple of chicken entrees, Bratwurst and Knockwurst; dinners come with soup or salad and a choice of two sides. Hubby ordered the homemade sauerkraut and it was fantastic; that'll be my choice next time. We'll definitely be going back. Best German food I've had since Ursula's in Tulsa closed! Worth the drive.”

“New owners, stale grease salad bar sitting in dirty water management, cashier, manager, part owner disgusting. Do not try this place. I drove 25 miles for Catfish and ended up with a bite of mud, so I tried a bite of other things to the same avail. 3 out of 4 of us got deathly ill after our visit.”

“Food was horrible. Coming from Dallas I did not expect much but this is not Tex Mex as it says on the menu. I have had better Tex Mex in New York City. Food was cheap quality and the salsa was, lets say it would have been better on a pizza because it was not salsa.”

“The food isn't anything special but it is rather cheap. Too much breading and not enough meat on most items. Good happy hour 4-7, with 75 cent draws and free chips and Queso. They don't really do anything better than the next but none the worse.”

• Excellent food, atmosphere, and service, well worth the money! (around $15.00 a person with tea).
• Only negative is that it isn't closer to Garland, TX.

“Excellent food with a great view. Out of this world fried catfish, French fries, hushpuppies, green tomato pickles, slaw and tea. They have desserts but have never seen anyone order one because they are to FULL of catfish! The wait staff is friendly, and provides a great family dining atmosphere.”

“The service was terrible. Food was okay but not that good for the price. Food is way over-priced and then they charge more than the menu states. When asked about that, we were told the menu states that prices are subject to change. Totally unethical.”

“I was in Oklahoma visiting friends on vacation and wanted real Southwest Barbecue. My friends drove me over 30 minutes to Cowboy's because they smoke their own meats. I LOVED it! The food was divine! The ribs were melt in my mouth good and the big stuffed potato was delicious. I found the prices very reasonable for a huge plate of mostly meat. Yum. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We have to save these family owned American treasures!”

• Can be pricey.

“Pricey but good old fashioned home cooking. If you go in for sit-down, you won't get out for less than $10, but you can do carry-out for a very reasonable price. This is not the place to go if you're looking for gourmet - this is home cooking, Southern cooking, whatever, but it has the best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten in a restaurant, great Southern green beans, fried okra and banana pudding, and a huge variety to choose from. There's enough variety, in fact, that you can even get a pretty healthy meal - lots of fish and vegetables choices and even heart healthy desserts and a pretty good salad bar.”

“This used to be a good Taco Mayo to go grab a quick lunch, but their management changed a year or so ago, and they're awful. I haven't been back in about six months, but I kept trying for the longest time because I remembered it used to be decent - and I was disappointed every time. If you order tortilla soup, they short you half the order. Order a burrito, and it's greasy and sloppy and missing most of the best ingredients. Until they get decent management again, don't waste your money!”

“I was in Tulsa recently and ate at Cheddars on 71st Street. I had never eaten at a Cheddars and so I had no idea what to expect. I was astonished to have so many choices and even more amazed at the prices. When my selection arrived I could not believe the size - it was enormous! My experience was wonderful (even though I left a ton on my plate) - service was terrific, food was wonderful, presentation of food was perfect, and the attentiveness of my server was outstanding. I enjoyed my experience at Cheddars and am extremely happy to say - there is a Cheddars being build in Midwest City which will open later this summer! It will be my one and only most favorite place to eat!”

“I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The place was filthy and the employees were less than well kept. As I was standing in line watching my food being prepared the kid dropped a utensil. He was going to use that same utensil to prepare my food. I asked him to get a clean one. The manager, got an attitude with me and accused me of lying about the utensil. She was very rude and unaccommodating. Also, she had a friend there visiting her who she was more interested in talking to than helping customers. And from the conversation that I heard, they were visiting about illegal activities. I will never go back to this establishment unless their is a change of management.”

• The root beer is fantastic, especially in the icy glass mugs.
• No negatives to report.

“I decided to try the items that I had heard which included the hot dogs, the tater tots and the icy mug root beer. The hot dog was good, not outstanding but good. They use wieners from Schwanns which anyone can buy so that kind of limits the uniqueness in my opinion. The tater tots were good but again it's hard to mess up frozen packaged tater tots. I will certainly come back to try some of the other menu items. No frills, no fancy anything and to me that is a plus not a negative. We never wanted for anything while were there. If you are looking for a really interesting place to stop for a meal and aren't bothered by a lack of commercialization then definitely consider Coit's. The root beer alone will make the trip worthwhile (definitely go for the icy glass mug).”

“We had eaten at the Warren Duck Club several times and loved it, but it had been a few years since our last visit. When our children came for a visit from Washington, D.C., we wanted to take treat them to one of Tulsa's special places so we went to the Warren Duck Club. We were horribly disappointed. The restaurant used to have the highest standards and a wonderful reputation. And the food was excellent. However, after our recent experience, we'll never go back. It's amazing that they continue to charge such high prices for such poor quality food.”

“Do not eat at Swick's. My family and I have eaten there a couple of time and every time we do, we get sick. The floor in the kitten had pizza toppings all over it, the bathrooms where dirty and salad bar looked like a big mess that someone had put in a blow. So save your money and your time. Don't go to swick's.”

• Small bathrooms, only 2 small stalls and you are hugging knees!

“I have gone to the Mont for years. The food is pretty good but the real excitement here is their bar and the swirl. When you get drinks here, they are great and most places make them weak or they get weaker but, I swear they just get stronger. The outside patio, on the corner makes it a nice place to be in the summer. Believe it or not the place is even kid friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!”

“Absolutely the worst restaurant ever. The Chicken Chimichangas were disgusting, who knew what that flavor was? The chicken wings were a major disappointment. The potato skins were okay, as well as the fried cheese. The fried cheese has no cheese in it. The chicken fingers were the best. Service was slow, almost 50 minutes to get this food. Huge disappointment”

• Pretty good BBQ for people who don't know about Carolina Que.
• Very Smokey and I don't mean the BBQ.

“The Bar B Que was pretty good. The place is more of a bar atmosphere, several TV's hanging. Cleaning needs to be a little more through. Our waitress was friendly. We are in Ardmore once a year and for 12 days. We eat here at least once a trip.”

• None. Love it for what it is. Nothing fancy.

“The best barbeque I have ever tasted. I've been to Memphis, KC and TX and the food here is by far the best. Forget about the debate of dry, wet or other preferences, this is just good food and authentic barbeque with no frills. I recommend the pork sandwich and barbeque beans.”

• Love the freshness of all the foods.
• Take out is slow, and they usually forget to add Naan.

“Ajanta is my favorite, go for a treat, restaurant. The food is authentic Indian, the servers are attentive, and will help you decide what to order. My choice is usually Chicken Tikka Masala. However the Chicken Korma is yummy too. Their tandoori chicken if fabulous too. I think they have a buffet at lunch time if you want to try a variety of different tasty foods!”

“This restaurant is terrible. If you want to contract E.coli, it would be a great place for you to eat. It is the worst outbreak of E.coli in the history of this nation. This restaurant should have never been able to re-open again.”

“I have never heard a complaint about the food. The atmosphere isn't great but it is clean and food service is quick and prices are good. The bar area is a bit more intimate but overall it is more a great place to eat.”

• Would like to support our home town businesses but will not in this case.
• Poor management and customer service.

“The last 3 times we have gotten food in the drive-through our order has been wrong and we've had to return to get it corrected (i.e. mayo instead of mustard, left out an order of fries, the corn dog was left out & when returned to get it, it was burned to a crisp, sandwich left out). The one time we ate in the restaurant, our order was lost & we sat in the dining room for over an hour waiting to be served. We talked to the manager on two occasions and she laughed off our complaints - perhaps just a nervous reaction - but laughter is not good customer service when dealing with a complaint. On both occasions she blamed the mistakes on the fact that they were busy. When I spoke to her tonight she said, "I can't help it if the girls don't check their tickets". Very poor customer service on the part of the manager. We will not be back.”
