• Service was a little slow (but it was pretty busy).

• Service terrible, freezing cold in restaurant, food not good.

“This local will not be flocking back to this place. Service was terrible. Bar is directly across from your dining area - so if you hope to have a quiet dinner you better ask to be seated in the back. If you are dining in the winter time - make sure you take along a sweater or you will freeze. Waitress was unfamiliar with the items on the menu. If you go don't waste your money getting the shrimp which was overcooked and chewy (4 large shrimp for $20.95) - you decided if this is a good value. In my opinion - don't waste your time or money on this joint; where there are many more restaurants more deserving of your money.”

“Had to travel to Omaha each year for a user conference held by our software vendor. Stayed at the Embassy Suites in Old Market and found BillyFrog's. Always had a steak there and food was delicious. Service was quite attentive but back then and (possibly now), you actually ordered your dinner at the window back by the grill and paid for it. Table service was for drins. Regardless, this place was always enjoyable whether for lunch, dinner or just fun and drinks”

“The pizza is simply amazing. Really it is just so good and I have had pizza all over the world. I would very highly suggest this establishment to anyone who is looking for east coast style (thin crust) pizza that is sublime. The decor is also very cool (art deco/urbanesque). The beer selection is nice if you enjoy beer and the wine is ok. Go, you'll be happy with your choice.”

• Poor service, long wait, food did not come as ordered, not all that great when received either.

“Looked like a good place to eat. It took a lot longer than expected, once we seated ourselves in the bar area, it took at least 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were there. Not a big deal but once our order was placed, it took another half hour to get it. The steak was well done when ordered medium and while it looked like good quality meat, it was not good due to how they cooked it. My friend had the chicken and it was nothing to brag about either. Not sure if it was the waitress but they did not seem that busy but yet we had to flag the waitress down several times just to get the bill. It was not worth the trip off the interstate. Would have had better food at Applebees.”

“We ordered through the drive-through and it was over an hour before closing but we were told they were out of several items. The cashier was very indifferent. When we got to the motel half of the order was wrong and items were missing and the fries and hush puppies were cold and hard.”

• A lot of the employees are nice.
• The place. Don't go there unless you are starving! Choose another place instead.

“Um, I've worked at this McD's for a while. The management doesn't manage. The employees don't check the orders before they hand them out the window resulting in I'd say 1 of 3 orders has something wrong in it. If you go to this McD's don't go thru the drive thru - go inside so you can Check your order right away. Oh and when the food expires they keep it, they don't throw it away, sometimes things are kept for up to an hour after they should have been tossed.”

“We just had a drink and were considering having dinner, but when I went into the bathroom on the first floor, the smell of urine was so strong that I felt sick to my stomach and had to leave. All they have to do is scrub the bathroom floor and then it might be a nice place to stay and eat!”

• Wish we had discovered this restaurant earlier.

“The owner was very gracious and treated our family like we were part of his family. The atmosphere was old world romantic for dining, the food was fabulous (the owner personally cooked our steaks after hearing my dad talk about the beef he raises), and the lounge was a lot of fun after dinner. It was one of the most fun nights we had in Omaha. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want romance, fun, friendly service, and have the owner treat you like you are part of his family.”

“The experience we had was completely different. Since the new owners took over the layers of caked-on tobacco smoke are gone as well as the roaches and dirty sticky dark red plastic tablecloths and cheesy red light bulbs in the dining rooms. The food has changed from marginally edible to authentically Italian and delicious. Now we are actually able to eat there without worrying about food poisoning.”

“The Drover was recommended to us by a friend here in KC and we were not disappointed. We actually sat in the bar area and the bartender was super friendly and took very good care of us. She actually stayed open a little later than usual so we could finish watching the game (College World Series). The whiskey steak was excellent and cooked to our specifications. The Miller Light bottles were the coldest I'd ever had. The salad bar was small but well stocked and the plates were chilled. The whole place is a little dark and rustic but for me, is part of why I liked it. Prices were a little high but the quality of the steak more than made up for it. If you are ever in Omaha I definitely suggest that you make time to visit The Drover.”

This restaurant re-defines southwestern foods with creative dishes you would normally find in a high end New York restaurant. Features homemade adobe sauce & other sauces, a multi-generation old Sharon's Enchilada dish (by far the most popular) and a menu full of tastes that make it hard to decide. If you enjoy Southwestern food with a gourmet twist, you must try this place! Their Long Island Iced Teas are the best in Omaha with top shelf liquor. Other features: - Huge wine selection-top shelf liquor-copper covered circular bar at the restaurant's center-awesome decor-great service.”

“I and my family dines Saturday evening at the old market stokes. My daughter and I had the corn chowder and both she and I became ill with a severe gi upset. None of the other family members had the chowder and became ill. I believe it was contaminated. I do believe if I ever return I will not have the chowder.”

• If the owners son and his friends are in there watch out.

“This could be a good place to eat and hang out for some beers but threes one problem. The owners son! Its one of those places where mommy and daddy own the place and the sun bully's his way around Kearney. If he was out of there and the parents ran it alone it would be one of Kearney's top notch places!”

“Trovatos has changed for the worse. Since John sold the restaurant, the lights have become harsh, ruining the atmosphere the place used to have. The antipasto plate consists of 3 out of season tomato slices, 3 olives, a strip of ham, an artichoke hull with a dab of bleu cheese, a strip of Velveeta cheese, tasteless sausage--all smothered in canned parmesan cheese. Luke warm oily minestrone followed by cold noodles with red sauce that could only have come from a jar. The "Italian" salad dressing was vinegar.”

“The restaurant just changed owners a few months ago. The previous owner prepared some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. The new owner/owners can still prepare a good entree. I still believe that it is the best Chinese food in Kearney, NE.”

“What this place lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in food! The bean dip is to die for and the enchiladas are fabulous. If you love cheese try the cheese enchiladas. The margaritas are strong so watch out! Only complaint is that they still allow smoking.”

• Can't think of any. Oh, there was sufficient parking.
• The wait staff was neither efficient nor friendly.

“The food was terrible. The restaurant was loud and the tables were too close together. When I pulled my chair back, I bumped the person behind me, and when the wait staff walked past our table, we kept expecting them to drop food on us, as the trays were held over our heads. Not recommended!”
