• Sneaky 18% gratuity, very bad service.

“The waitresses not only manage to get the orders wrong. (and when it was pointed out, they never came back with the correct orders) but be very careful that they don't sneak an 18% gratuity onto the bill. Read the bill very carefully because it is easy to miss. The menu says there will be an 18% gratuity for 5 or more people. We only had 3 at our table.”

“This place is horrible. The floor is wet and it always stinks in there. The bathroom was dirty. The bar is always sticky. I find the crowd that hangout there are of the sort with a below average. I would not go there again if it was the last restaurant/bar on earth.”

“My wife is a fan of this guy on the cooking channel and we decided to go. When we walked in I could not believe it. The place looks like a remodeled truck stop. Our overall experience was worst than poor. The service and food was terrible. I spent over $130 for something I could have enjoyed more for around $20 at the waffle house. Do not waste your time or money. If you read this, you need to make a visit and take a look at this dump.”

“Horrible, don't waste your time or money. they have cut back so much, you only get 8 fries with your sandwich. They used to have a condiments bar with hot chili, cheese and mushrooms. the cold salad bar used to have shredded cheese and bacon bits, all gone. they cite it as new food laws, lies, if it were true, all the self serve buffets would be out of business. they're cutting back and putting it to the consumer who made them the place they are today! now if you want a loaded burger you can no longer order it plain and dress it yourself at the bar, you must order it from them like that and get taken to the cleaners for it! I now go to Lee's hamburgers religiously!”

• A lot of older people eat there. I am 65 and I feel at home there.
• The location is no longer a good area. It was okay years ago.

“Have been eating there every Wednesday night for the last year. The Wednesday night special is the seafood platter and is very good for the price. However, the quantity is not consistent but the taste is always the same. For the price I would not get the seafood plater if it were not on special for $12.95. On the whole the waiters are nice and prompt. The lady that is the hostess on Wednesday nights is so very sweet and will always try to get you the table of your choice. The parking area is large and they have a security guard. The area has gone down but the restaurant is easily accessible.”

• The beer taste good but all they have is light.
• Ten centimeters pizza for fifteen dollars, there is better out there.

“I got ten centimeters pizza for fifteen dollars. Overall, two beers and a pizza ran me twenty four and change. The beer does not bother me but I ordered a pizza with everything and got a burnt crust with cheese and less than a hand full of veggies tossed in the middle. I got it to go but sat around for the beers. If you want to talk and don't mind listeners its nice, but if you want food there are better paces to go. I enjoy getting value of some kind for my money.”

“I paid $15 for overcooked, under- flavored food! I was with a large group and my order got switched with someone else's from my party. The waiter adjusted the bills. The pasta seemed to have been boiling all year long. Chef Boyardee's pasta is firmer! The sauce tasted like they opened a jar, heated it, added canned veggies, then poured it over the very overdone pasta! There was no seasoning in it whatsoever. This is supposed to be an Italian restaurant, but all of the waiters are Mexican. The decor looks like it would be a real version of The Regal Beagal, the bar on Three's Company. The plates were poorly picked up at the dollar store and the silverware must have been stolen from a school cafeteria! Save your money and taste buds and go to a chain like Johnny Carino's, Olive Garden.”

“The person gave the restaurant a 9 out of 10, while admitting that the roof leaked making the floors dangerous. He/she said that the wait staff was very considerate, though, to insure that the rain did not bother the children. Well! This place is horrible. Everything from over-priced mediocre food to a wait staff that thinks you owe them. I've been there twice. We ended up not eating this time, because we never saw a waiter. After 15 minutes, my wife walked to the bar and asked for someone to wait on us. The bartender responded, "Just wait a minute". After several more minutes of waiting, we left. As I walked past the bar, I told the bartender that we were leaving because no one waited on us. His response, "That's cool". Most horrible place I've been to in years. I'm a native New Orleanian who moved to Houston due to a business transfer. Restaurants like these will change the New reputation of New Orleans from the city of hospitality to the city of you owe me.”

• The pizza is both tasty and healthy. Fun atmosphere.
• The games are old and don't always work.

“BJ's offers a laid back atmosphere with traditional and more creative pizzas that tantalize the taste buds. My favorite is the chicken ranch. There are large TV's and a few arcade games for the kids. The staff is always great and food is prepared quickly. But the arcade games are very outdated and one of the 4 doesn't work. They really need to update that part of the restaurant. This is a popular spot in Lafayette for families and college students who have a craving for pizza that is both healthy and tasty.”

“This restaurant is one of the most family friendly that I have ever been to. I had the Irene Copeland special, pork chops a La Rich Sabatelli, excellent; also they had this new beer out called Rick Schlauch Lager and it was especially good, with some new chips called Rick Schlauch Corn Chips, a cross between potato chips and corn chips; they were excellent because they come heated and with melted cheese sauce. Some singer showed up called The Famous JJ, he was very good; the magician the Criminal, David Cooley came in from the eastern US and showed everyone some pick pocket comedy moves, telling jokes the whole time.”

“This dining experience was a disaster! After being seated and eventually being brought water and bread by the busboy, that was the last server that even made eye contact with me. After requesting to speak to a waitress, she intentionally and carefully avoiding any eye contact for the next 30 minutes so we decided it would best for us to find service elsewhere. I calmly and quietly explained the issue to the hostess as we exited but I am fairly certain she was not concerned either. As far as service if concerned - this was one of the worst and most rude restaurants I have ever been to. I will never return!”

“My first experience at this facility was great. You are greeted with a basket of bread and various butters and the courtesy of the waiter. I ordered the surf and turf, which was a lobster and filet mignon, It was fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend ordered a pepper crusted filet which he thoroughly enjoyed. The desserts, a strawberry topped cheesecake and Bottomless chocolate pie, were to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“This is a very cozy little restaurant with great food. Perfect for a date, or even a family gathering. The Service is wonderful and I have always had a great experience. “The restaurant's food is excellent. However the owner is less then friendly. One day when my family was enjoying lunch she came in, glared at us and led another family to the other side of the room that's divided by a wall. Coincidence? I also know of local pastor who stopped dining there due to the owners attitude. Don't get me wrong, this restaurant offers wonderful cuisine. But if your not the right shade you might have to endure some nasty glares to have it. These days I order take out.”

“The most fabulous po-boy I have ever had in my life! I have lived in Georgia for the past 12 years and try to make it a point to get a po-boy when I'm back in my home state. However, in all those years, I have never had such an incredibly tasty sandwich at such an incredibly reasonable price. The store owner was friendly and made sure we felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the mood for the perfect po-boy!”
