• The pizza is both tasty and healthy. Fun atmosphere.
• The games are old and don't always work.

“BJ's offers a laid back atmosphere with traditional and more creative pizzas that tantalize the taste buds. My favorite is the chicken ranch. There are large TV's and a few arcade games for the kids. The staff is always great and food is prepared quickly. But the arcade games are very outdated and one of the 4 doesn't work. They really need to update that part of the restaurant. This is a popular spot in Lafayette for families and college students who have a craving for pizza that is both healthy and tasty.”

• One thing I didn't care for so much is the noise, it's a very busy restaurant and it is very loud.

“This restaurant is one of the most family friendly that I have ever been to. I had the Irene Copeland special, pork chops a La Rich Sabatelli, excellent; also they had this new beer out called Rick Schlauch Lager and it was especially good, with some new chips called Rick Schlauch Corn Chips, a cross between potato chips and corn chips; they were excellent because they come heated and with melted cheese sauce. Some singer showed up called The Famous JJ, he was very good; the magician the Criminal, David Cooley came in from the eastern US and showed everyone some pick pocket comedy moves, telling jokes the whole time.”

• Absolutely the worst wait staff you could imagine!

“This dining experience was a disaster! After being seated and eventually being brought water and bread by the busboy, that was the last server that even made eye contact with me. After requesting to speak to a waitress, she intentionally and carefully avoiding any eye contact for the next 30 minutes so we decided it would best for us to find service elsewhere. I calmly and quietly explained the issue to the hostess as we exited but I am fairly certain she was not concerned either. As far as service if concerned - this was one of the worst and most rude restaurants I have ever been to. I will never return!”

“My first experience at this facility was great. You are greeted with a basket of bread and various butters and the courtesy of the waiter. I ordered the surf and turf, which was a lobster and filet mignon, It was fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend ordered a pepper crusted filet which he thoroughly enjoyed. The desserts, a strawberry topped cheesecake and Bottomless chocolate pie, were to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“The restaurant's food is excellent. However the owner is less then friendly. One day when my family was enjoying lunch she came in, glared at us and led another family to the other side of the room that's divided by a wall. Coincidence? I also know of local pastor who stopped dining there due to the owners attitude. Don't get me wrong, this restaurant offers wonderful cuisine. But if your not the right shade you might have to endure some nasty glares to have it. These days I order take out.”

“The most fabulous po-boy I have ever had in my life! I have lived in Georgia for the past 12 years and try to make it a point to get a po-boy when I'm back in my home state. However, in all those years, I have never had such an incredibly tasty sandwich at such an incredibly reasonable price. The store owner was friendly and made sure we felt at home from the moment we walked in the door. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the mood for the perfect po-boy!”

“My wife and I stopped for lunch in March 2008. It was a bit difficult to find, since the restaurant was being renovated and there was no sign outside. The new restaurant was nice looking and much different from what we had anticipated from our guide book. At any rate, we were her for the food and not the decor. We only had a barbecued pork sandwich, but it was spectacular! It consisted of juicy slices of pork tenderloin that with a rich smoky flavor that was incredible. The sauce was simple but perfect. Our waitress was extremely enthusiastic and made us want to return for all the other interesting items on the menu. We shall return!”

• Casual, reasonably priced, large portions, good bread, enormous sweet potato.
• Bland food, nothing is low fat, wait for seating, young waitresses not efficient.

“The bread is very good and the side Ceasar salad is reliably fresh with good Croutons. Portions are large of everything. I do enjoy the baked sweet potato, but I have yet to find an entree on the menu that is really good. They don't season their food like Southern people do. This is Midwestern/Yankee bland. The country fried steak with gravy is large enough, but the meat is not seasoned the way it is at Picadilly, and the gravy is salty. The chopped sirloin steak was overcooked and the French fries were cold. The mashed potatoes aren't even good. The fried popcorn shrimp are not seasoned and are very greasy. The fresh house side salad is iceberg lettuce, cheese, chopped tomato, and sliced onion. The bar is very popular. There can be a line for a table, so be prepared to wait.”

• Great carrot cake, current $9.99 steak and two sides dinner.
• Order medium well if you don't like pink/red center, not open for lunch.

“Order ready promptly at time announced and brought out to our car. The desserts are good. Fantastic carrot cake! Very ordinary bread loaf and baked potato and vegetables. They forgot to include one of the side dishes with one of the steak dinners in take out order. Steak was a little tough and one was undercooked for my taste. This also happened when we dined in, very red meat instead of properly cooked. Honestly, I cook better steak than this at home. Logan's Roadhouse overcooks beef and Outback undercooked. Appetizers are big enough to share with the whole table. The Taz crawfish appetizer is amazingly greasy and not recommended, does not compare to the well seasoned and not greasy fried crawfish at Pat's of Henderson. Everyone likes the blooming onion and it's dipping sauce.”

“The Fezzo's on Frontage Road in Scott, LA has excellent service. We were seated quickly, our orders were taken quickly, with excellent recommendations. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Our food was brought to our table quickly, even though the restaurant was pretty crowded. The atmosphere was welcoming and you could dress casual. The food was all excellent! I got the fillet with creamy shrimp sauce. It was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The stuffed potato was creamy and spiced just right. The crab fingers we ordered as an appetizer were well seasoned, just the way we like them. And the turtle cheesecake was divine. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back! Oh and the prices were quite reasonable too.”

“Great place to eat. Best buffet I have been to and I have been to many. The Pizza is really good, but in addition, you get a taste of Cajun foods also. The salad bar has everything you'd want and the desserts are good also, which includes soft serve ice cream/yogurt. My son and friends come here every year for his birthday and even though they are all in college now, they all look forward to coming here annually.”

“We were taken to lunch here on an incredibly beautiful, sunny day. We sat on the upstairs porch, overlooking the lake (bring sunglasses!). The extensive menu was mouth-watering; so many ways to enjoy the fruits of the sea. Making a selection was difficult. I wanted it all, but settled on the soft shell crabs - my weakness! My husband thought the side salad was so pretty he had me take a photo of it! The walls inside are hung with wonderful boat photos and paintings.”

• I love the upbeat atmosphere of customers and servers and the fresh, delicious food!
• The portions are big, so don't fill up on the complimentary and delicious chips and salsa too quickly!

I love the quesadillas just as much as I love the fajitas and the mesquite grilled chicken salad! The new breakfast menu is a must because of its wide variety of delicious breakfast favorites as well as new Mexican twists on the traditional. Your server will even bring you a newspaper to accompany your morning meal! Don't forget to come back at night time on the weekend for live music on the patio. There is always something fun and exciting going on at Superior. No wonder there are so many regulars who simply can't get enough!”

“I've been going to Gerald's Steakhouse on Sundays Country Cooking Buffet since I was a young girl and every time I go it's just as great as the time before. But you have to get there early on Sunday to get the best service and also to beat the church crowd cause when they get there. They are hungry and you'll probably have to stand in a line out the door to get good food. I say around 10:30 is a good time to get there and have an empty stomach, cause the food is just as GREAT as grandma used to cook it.”

• Place gets very packed on weekend nights. expected but still kind of cramped.

“It was a little pricey but well worth it and service was awesome even though the place was extremely busy. Waiting time on additional drinks wasn't as long as most when busy. Food was awesome. Our server was prompt, courteous, very busy and helpful. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone that visits the area. Not to mention I showed up in blue jean shorts, t-shirt, tennis shoes and a Margarita Ville baseball cap. figured I'd get turned around as the crowd was dressed casual but not like me. But they welcomed me in as-is which was very cool. Loved the place!”

• I just loved the atmosphere. It made me smile to come to this place.
• I hated when the store closed. I was upset because I just wanted to stay at Cajun Seafood forever.

“Nothing says New Orleans like the lingering smell of seafood. If your looking for the seafood quality that will have you begging for more, then you have reached the right place. Cajun Seafood Restaurant is the best of the best when it comes down to seafood. I enjoy my visit each time I go there. The seafood is great, the workers are very friendly and it is just a wonderful atmosphere for socialization and family fun. So come on down whenever you get the chance!”
