• Great value for the amount of food.
• Some of the seats needs to be repaired.

“I drive 40 minutes to come to La Hacienda. I love their food and the price is well worth your money for the amount of food you get I can fill up on an appetizer of cheese sauce with salsa! The restaurant is mid-size and not the fanciest place but there's a lot of decorations to look at and the staff is friendly and quick. The restrooms are down the hall from the kitchen as I walk past, there are no offensive odors coming from the kitchen, some restaurant kitchens really stink! Only the yummy food can be smelled! It's a great place to come and chow down!”

“My husband and me are snow birds but this year we spent the summer in Wesley Chapel. We have eaten at John's frequently and have never had a bad meal. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic. Best restaurant in this area!”

“We had the worst customer service at this restaurant. The restaurant manager was rude and actually took the drinks right off the table rather than stand behind his waitress who made a mistake. Even worse still, he charged the waitress personally for the drinks. Restaurant manager was rude.”

“I have visited Gators 4 times. 3 of the 4 (including today), the service was slow and food came 45 Minutes after ordering and was cold. Wait staff seemed confused and would disappear for long periods at a time. Thought the poor service/food the 2 previous times were flukes, but I guess not. Did see a small Gator while eating, best part of the meal.”

“This restaurant has good food, a nice atmosphere and the service was good. We always try to find a reason to eat at this restaurant. We gladly look for the opportunity to go to Inverness just so we can eat at Stump knocker's; even with the drive being an hour and a half from our home in New Port Richey.”

• Friendly, authentic Italian food. Prices are reasonable and food superb! No lines and good service!
• Easy to drive down highway 192. Located next to a tourist trinkets place.

“I like Bruno's, the food is genuine Italian! The restaurant is clean the service is great. Having traveled to Italy many times while in the Navy. This place is as authentic as you can get to a small family restaurant in any Italian town or city. It makes you feel like you are having dinner in someone's home. Food is prepared when you order. Everything is homemade from the pasta, the sauces, fresh and delicious. The owner, who cooks and waits on tables, is a genuine Italian as well! The NY style pizza is made fresh from the dough on up. They even make their own sauce. Prices are very reasonable and portions are great. I have never left hungry or disappointed! You can't pass up a meal here. Close to Disney and other attractions. Can't get out? They even will deliver! Even their wine list is good. Kids are welcome and dietary needs can be met. A nice romantic dinner spot, or family dining. Just want a pizza? - you won't find better anywhere else.”

Apparently what needs to be changed after reading the reviews is management. It's basically a hit or miss but our bartender was awesome!”

“The food was very good but that was it. The service was terrible. From getting a drink at the bar took forever. You need 2 bartenders behind the bar who are not drinking. Also the serving staff acted like they were drunk or on drugs. This restaurant is supposed to be owned by 2 volunteer firefighters. You need to do something new with the staff if you want this new restaurant to be a hit.”

“Will never again return to this place! it's a shame that the building is so lovely, as the staff and food are no good whats so ever! We went there for a birthday meal, in the hope that we would try the place out again. Despite not having a nice experience there before, we figured that we would give it another shot. We were most disappointed. The food was dreadful, and far from how the menu describes it, also not at all a good value for money! The manager is a helpless, that just walks around trying to look the part, although setting no example for staff as he is chewing on gum, and totally acts with his no care attitude! We were not at all happy about anything with our visit. Hopefully the new bar that they are spending all this money on, will make up for the money that they must loose daily on the food part. Absolutely hideous!”

“I've lived in the area for 10+ years and Luna's is my favorite. The Luna Lava is to die for if you like spicy! Portions are out of control, but it makes you feel like you got your money's worth. The only negative is that there never seems to be enough wait staff and they only take cash. Some times the wait time for a table, even with reservations, can be in excess of an hour. But, usually it's worth the wait. You'll love the food! Just remember to stop at the ATM on the way and don't take your credit card. They have another location off the island on 41 across from Walmart. Smaller place, but equally good food.”

• Entry level hostesses are young and inexperienced.

“At this Red Lobster, my wife and I started our afternoon horribly as the hostesses created a fairly frustrating mix up that prompted us to consider leaving without eating. However, after being seated, and upon hearing our problem, our server immediately spoke to her manager, and both people did everything they could to solve our problems. I had almost forgotten that some people actually care about what consumers think of their place of business, and even though my experience began pretty bad, it turned out great: the food was hot and delicious and the drinks icy cold. I will return to give the hostesses a second chance.”

• Food quality, no ice, internet for payment.

“I stopped by this McDonald's in Williston on Friday, Sept. 4 around 4 pm. I saw signs on the registers that the ice machine was broken - no ice. That should have been my first red flag. They said machine was broken and no ice. I said that there was a Winn-Dixie right next door and they should buy ice. The fountain Coca-Cola was warm. They said ice purchase was not in their budget? Hello, I saw a sign on the front door for Internet. I inquired, Internet is $2.50! Most places are free! Even the Hamburgers seems smaller and the portion of small fries was smaller than other McDonald's. So, my visit earned this restaurant a 3! I know many from the area and I am certainly passing on this information. Presently I am at a Burger-King in Ocala on highway 27 - Great ice, good food, value, courteous front personnel, and free internet. Competition is good, I won't be back to that McDonald's.”

• Chef must be on vacation, too many restaurants to go back there.

“After enjoying two scotches at $10.50 each we were seated and perused the menu. I ordered a mussels appetizer. Whoops. None left on a Saturday evening. I can't describe what they replaced it with Entrée? Fruita da mar. (linguine with shrimp (1), mussels (2) linguine? Believe me, it was spaghetti or cappellini looked like it was fried in a pan. What happened to the other ingredients?”

“This is a great Italian joint. I'm an Italian from up North, and have been here 3 years. This is the first place I've been to, that actually made me feel like I was back at home. The staff was actually Italian too, at least I think so! Either way, the food was home cooked and tasted perfect! I would recommend this to anyone. It's a little joint, not too big. I would like going here to get my mind off a rough workout. Staff was very friendly.”

“Avoid KFC, 294 W. Granada, Ormond Beach, FL. On Aug 19, 2009 we ordered 8 pieces chicken with two sides (mashed potatoes & baked beans) and biscuits. Received 7 pieces: 3 wings, 2 drums and 2 thighs; half container mashed potatoes and watery coleslaw. Attempted to call manager but no answer and once transferred to Fax, Called KFC national customer service. Nice promises, no action, no apologies, no follow-up. Advise: carefully and immediately check your order in the presence of KFC employee before you pay.”

• Rest rooms were a bit tired and could be a little cleaner.

“Were here 4 times during our Florida holiday in July. Excellent food, high quality and reasonably priced. Loads of shrimp dishes, snow crab, regular Chinese dishes. They also do Sushi at certain times. It's a bit hidden from the road (535). Pass the turning off to Disney (on the left, don't take it - pass it) Keep looking left and you'll spot a hospital, then the hotel with the Pineapple on top (its quite colorful), a large Disney T's for $xx shop, an iHOP and a petrol station. Take a left at the next junction (the Sheraton Safari Hotel will be on your right), then left again into a small shopping area with car park.”

• Our waitress was very pleasant. We were a party of 8. All our orders were perfect.
• Manager not nice. Food could have been better for the price.

“The Manager was not helpful and was rude. Smoking in the restaurant (at the bar) made the entire restaurant smell of smoke. I have never been to a restaurant whereby a 3 for 1 was not allowed to be shared. This is not advertised that way and it encourages a customer to drink too much. $8.00 for a glass of wine is excessive when not shared. The food was only so-so. The special salmon was $24.95 expensive for salmon. The lobster was a buy but not of good quality.”

• The parking lot is dirt and bathrooms need a little work!

“I have been a number of times, it is difficult to find but once youre there all your troubles melt away. Enjoy your meal while looking out at the river and enjoying the wildlife. We walked around the property before the meal and saw they also had kayak rentals. The restaurant's atmosphere is decorated with animals from the property. We went on a Friday night, they had a special for all, you can eat snow crab legs. Someone in my party ordered the hush puppies best I have ever had - The service was great. Couldn't have asked for a better place. Would recommend and will go again.”

• The tables were a little dirty, but being at the beach is expected, I guess.

“Highly recommended and will return. I was on vacation with my family and we had lunch at Sunset. What a pleasant surprise! The food was great, we had seafood and it was fresh and cooked perfectly. The price was right, and our waitress was very friendly. We sat on the deck next to the water and it was very nice.”

“The negative review, given here is in stark contrast to our experience. We eat at the Belleview Pizza restaurant many times during the year. We always find the service to be superb. From the front desk staff to the servers and even the folks that clear away everybody is very friendly and efficient. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. The pasta based dishes all have great flavor and we think the fries are the best in the world! The menu gives small, medium or large options to suit every appetite and are very fairly priced. Lets put it this way. There's a reason why people sometimes wait in line for up to 3/4 hour. Go and try it-you won't be disappointed!”

“I arrived there early (around 6:15) and got seated within a reasonable time. The waiter wanders by about 6:35 to ask if I wanted something to drink while I waited for my friends. They arrived a bit after that and he showed up to take our orders. I ordered the broiled haddock with a salad, baked potato with extra butter, my friends had fish sandwiches and a spaghetti plate for their young daughters. The salad came out with their Clam Chowder and was ok, nothing to rave about. When the meal came out he brought a plate for the girls to share their meal (then took it back with him so we had to use a bread plate for them) my half cooked fish and their sandwiches. About 10 minuets later, after they reminded him, he brings out a cold plain baked potato. That was the last we saw of him for a while. No drink refills, no how was your meal, nothing. When he shows up to collect the plates I commented on potatoes are not very good plain so he points to the couple patties of butter left over on the table from the one plate of bread.”

“I was there last year and met new owner. There was something about the atmosphere? Everyone in the restaurant had smiles. The customers were enjoying themselves. The staff was having fun and you could tell they enjoyed their job. The food and service were absolutely superb! Two male servers were especially good. So any how, I return this year, one is gone and the food and service are gone with him. We want to go to the restaurant he owns. Its unbelievable the difference one person makes. Its obvious the people now running this restaurant don't have a clue!”

“I frequented this place for years. Then out of the blue the owner started her rule of not sitting one person in a booth. I have no problem with rules. But rarely does this hold. Only when she was there. She offered me a small table crunched in between two large parties. This used to be a place where one could stay and linger and have a cup of coffee and relax. An old style local place with great waitresses and a crackerjack short order cook. I would go at least twice a week and maybe three due to the rude, unprofessional way she has treated me. A long time good customer, I will never step foot in that place again. Fill your booths with a party of four that comes in once a month and see if that was a wise business move.”
