“Loved the location as well as the hotel valet service. Beautiful spacious king suite.”

“The first time I walked through the doors of Teps, as it's called in my family, I was 13 years old. I'm now 24 and it's still my favorite Mexican restaurant in the states. To give you a little idea of how much I love this place I'll give you this example. Whenever I arrive in Denver my parent's pick me up at the airport and we head directly to Teps to meet the rest of the family and friends! I crave it when I'm away! My family has been going to Teps for years. My cousin, who I ate there with for the first time, has been going there since he was four years old, he's now in his mid thirties. I've only ever ordered one thing at Teps! Huevos Rancheros, over easy, with a side of Chicharones and the only thing that has ever changed in my order in the last 11 years has been a switch to Negro Modelo from Coke when I turned 21. I would love to try some of the other dishes that they offer but I'm unable to, the Huevos Rancheros are too good, I can't seem to make myself order anything else! The Green Chile is the best I've ever had and my cousin and I, both of us are cooks, have been trying for years to re-create the Chile at home, with no success. The food is incredible at Teps but it's not the only thing that makes it amazing. The service is incredible! One of our favorite waitress, knows and has known my order for years now. I walk in, sit down, and she walks over and says "Huevos, over easy, chicharones and a Negro Modelo?" She gives us updates on how her family is doing and is always asking about ours! She's a friend of the family now and the best waitress I've ever seen! The atmosphere at Teps is incredible! It's overall just a beautiful place to get some incredible food! Everyone should experience "Teps!"”

“Food was good but way over-priced for the atmosphere and amenities. The building is a dump.”

“My husband and I both went to Casa De Sol and it was disgusting. Mexican, hum I think not. This was so bad we didn't even finish eating, we took a bite and left. We had to stop at the deli in the city market, never going again!”

“Fairly nice hotel but not 3.5 stars. I would rate it at 3 stars. We had a nice room with a view of the mountains.”

“Wow! My wife and I ate at Casa Del Sol on our way through town. The food was beyond bad! It was disgusting! Somewhere along the line, someone told these people they could cook Mexican food but trust me, they can't! The meal came with soup and salad. Nice touch, I thought. The soup was meatball soup. It was a bowl of broth with one small meatball sitting at the bottom. Horrible presentation. The salad was served in a cup saucer sized plate with a pinch of salad on it. Why bother. We hoped that the main dishes would save the evening. My wife had to spit the Enchiladas into her napkin. The Red Chili sauce that they covered it all with, tasted like mud, at least that was my opinion. My wife said that it tasted like the Rodeo.? When I questioned her, she said it tasted, like the Rodeo smells. It was bad! The white mushy stuff inside of the chicken Enchilada was strange. I'm not sure what it was. The Chili Reno was not much better as it had the same sauce on it. The Taco was served so soaked in grease, I had to cut it with my fork to get the meat out as the shell fell apart. The best part of the entire meal was the Coke.”

“I think this hotel thinks they know what customer service is, but vastly misses the mark. Checking in was frustrating, the keys had to be re-keyed like 3 times and we had to use two elevators to get to our room. Other people seemed to have to have their keys re-keyed a few times as well. It was not restful at all. There were a zillion other instances of just rudeness and weirdness by the staff.”

“This was a huge disappointment! The steaks were horribly overpriced for mediocre product - $35 for a 12 oz non prime steak - the menus are verbal with no price - given the tacky atmosphere I was shocked at the bill, thing added was a hair (really). I felt that since the menu was verbal they adjust the price to the clientèle.”

“Don't stay here until their parking garage has finished its renovation. Car valet service was a nightmare, we called down to have our car pulled up, we were told it would be 10 minutes, we went down to check out and arrived within 15 minutes of requesting our car be pulled up. We discovered later after waiting for over 75 minutes for the car that the valet could not find the car as the reason it took so long. With the parking garage closed the valet's have to go almost 7 blocks to find places to park cars parked through the valet, guess the guy that parked our car didn't document very well where he took our car to be parked overnight? As luck would have it, we were in a hurry being that it was a Monday morning.”

“One does not go to Paris on the Platte for sandwiches, nor do they go there expecting a Starbucks like experience. It is predominately a late-night coffeehouse (that happens to serve food.) You go there to indulge in poetic inspirations, debate pseudo-philosophy with friends, or brush shoulders with a more eclectic crowd.”

“This tiny room with one double bed right across from the elevator was the smallest, supposed 4-star, room I have ever stayed in. For example, the nightstand was attached to the wall and was only 10 inches wide, the same distance as the bed was from the wall. The single sink in the bathroom was only 24 inches wide and had a hairdryer and box of tissues perched on its edges. The tub drain sounded like it had a vacuum attached to it to make it drain; `loud¿ does not describe it adequately. The bed was comfortable but only a double, we were told it was the only room they had available. On the other hand, the restaurant was open late and had fabulous food and a great wait staff! Overall, not a 4-star experience except for the food.”

“I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. We were looking forward to a nice dinner after the air show. We always look for a good place to eat especially where you can enjoy the planes. This is not it. The view of the airport is great and they have an outside deck. Too bad, the owner is so rude. On our visit, she argued with customers, raised her voice with employees, just her overall demeanor was angry. The food was ok. For the price I expected a better atmosphere. Will not be back unless there is new owner! Stick with the perfect landing at Centennial Airport for great food.”

“The drawer in the room was very small. First night, I woke up early in the morning because of strange electrical noise. I could not figure out where it came from. I was not able to go back to sleep because of the noise. Also, there was not directory (information book) of the hotel facilities in the room and I did not know that they provide their guests with free Internet connection in the lobby area. I ended up buying a connection in the room just in order to check e-mails. I spoke to the hotel and they gave me refund though. Also, without the information book, I had to keep asking them where the pool, the gym were located and what the check out time was. They should have provided their guests with that kind of information. Also draining in the bath tub was very bad and surface of the water came up to my ankles while taking shower which was quite uncomfortable. I spoke to them and no response at all.”

“I'm a truck driver from the Chicago area. I stopped by this wonderful restaurant while waiting on my load. I had the beef with broccoli, and egg rolls. When I walked in, the restaurant was busy, filled with families and young couples. I enjoyed the authentic Chinese atmosphere, they were playing great instrumental Chinese music, and I was just amazed with their decor. I was looking at the menu for at least 10 minutes before I could decide what I wanted. They had such a big menu with so many meals to choose from. I settled on something familiar, the beef with broccoli and egg rolls. The egg rolls were nice and hot when I got them. The beef came just a few minutes later. I was also amazed with the huge portion they provided. My meal came with steamed rice, I love rice. I emptied my rice on to my plate and covered it with the beef, the waitress kept refilling my rice and until I asked her not to, because I would not be able to eat it all. The sauce of the beef with broccoli was just amazing. I will stop by again if I come through Greeley again.”

“The hotel was very clean and conveniently located. Driving through downtown and finding the hotel was stressful after a long days drive. My mother was very disappointed that they charged so much for parking. However, with the money we saved through Priceline, we still got a good deal. However, with the exception of the amenities and location the hotel room was just as nice as newly renovated 3 star hotels. I guess you're paying for amenities!”

“Main entrance was closed and difficult to notice as you approach. Once you do arrive be perpared to be greeted no less than 5 times before you get to check in. There is no self parking so you must pay a dailey valet fee of $26. Your other option is to park somewhere else but you won't have access to your vehicle after hours according to the front desk. Pretty crummy to hold you hostage for the valet parking. If this hotels self parking is unavailable then they should cut the valet fee.”

“I went to a wedding reception at this restaurant. It was awful. The wedding party had reserved the outside patio area as well as the inside top level. When we got there the inside top level was full and the outside was directly in the sun. They had no umbrellas up either. They refused to let us sit in the completely empty inside bottom level. We had 11 older people 60s, 70s, even 80s stuck outside in the 92 degree weather directly in the sun. They refused to let even them sit inside. They were very rude when we asked as well. On top of that they ran out of food 25 minutes into it. The food that was there was awful as well, the wraps tasted rotten and the quesadillas were crunchy. I will never return to this restaurant, ever! I feel so bad for the wedding party that there reception will be remembered this way.”

“We love this place. We drive 90 miles to eat there. There's something about the flavors - they must use very fresh ingredients, because you can really taste the difference between the food at the Adobe and other Mexican restaurants around. Make sure you get the corn casserole on the side. Amazing! Well worth the trip.”

“When I went inside the store it was abnormally warm/hot. Some old guy made my sandwich pretty fast and creped me out talking about nothing for a couple minutes well after I received my food. The sandwich was made sloppy. It tasted like one of the veggies maybe tomatoes, was bad. I couldn't eat my food had to toss it.”

“The room was on the 19th floor, but didn't have a view. The room was very warm and the air conditioning had to run constantly but still did not get the room to a good temperature till the middle of the night. The bathroom door sticks, so you get stuck in the bathroom for 2-3 minutes till you figure out how to open it. There is no phone to call for help. There was 6 elevators for the 21 floors, but 3 of them I never saw running. One of the 3 elevators that did run was half sized and another skipped floors, so you may get your floor or you may not. This was not a good set up because they had a large conference of children staying at this hotel. This put a high demand on the 3 elevators, we were lucking to get an elevator within 10 minutes. No free wifi, they charge for toll-free calls, parking is $21 a night, and the bedsheets were stained but they did come to change them. Last but not least, the fire alarm went off and we did not hear it in our room. We noticed it was going off when we went out for dinner, and we heard it had been going off for a while.”

“We had a terrible experience here on June 26th, 2009. After an hour wait we were seated and ordered our meals. Five people - ordered two combos and three pizzas and one Escargot appetizer. Two of the three pizzas came with incorrect ingredients and the appetizer never arrived. Our drinks were empty and we had to flag down the blond waitress several times for refills, which was disappointing as we were right on the main aisle and hard to miss. When the bill came it included the appetizer we didnt receive so we brought this to her attention and she wrote a new total without it, but did not cross out the old total.”

“We decided to do a two-hour ride called, "The Ride," which boasts of a trail that goes through Rocky Mountain National Park. What they don't tell you is that the two-hour ride starts from the stable and lasts about 20 minutes on the road. Since the ride is a down and back, that's 40 minutes of riding next to cars - not exactly a scenic ride. Then when you hit the trail it seems like just as you're starting to enjoy it, you have to turn around. For $50 a person, I expected more. If you go, at least do a 4-hour ride - but be prepared to have a sore backside. We were also not impressed with the stable (it was dirty and very smelly - I know stables are supposed to smell, but this was overbearing). The staff was very nice though.”

“I marvel at the negative reviews of the Blue Parrot. Simply, a restaurant does not survive for almost 100 years in Boulder County by not getting it right. Ironically, I have also read ignorant reviews about the Buckhorn Exchange (a Denver landmark which holds Denver's oldest liquor license). Clearly the Blue Parrot and Buckhorn Exchange deserve more respect considering that they are among the oldest of Colorado restaurants. If you are looking for high-end gourmet Italian, go somewhere else. The Blue Parrot serves family style Italian and has been doing it the same way for almost a century and hopefully will continue doing so for many years to come.”
