“My family and friends have gone there when they are in town. I always recommend it to anyone going down to Eureka Springs. I think it is one of the best restaurants in town. They have wonderfully prepared food and last time I took my grown daughter down she just raved about everything we had and she had to go back before we left. I have never seen or eaten anything that wasn't first rate! I am shocked that anyone gave them a lower rating. I am picky about where I eat and I have traveled to Eureka Springs several times a year for 30 years. This one is of my favorite newer places. The owners/chef are great and helpful. I would never hesitate to send my friends there! Great JOB!”

“One overworked waitress tried to run the entire front. One man worked in the kitchen on a tiny stove you could see from the dining room. It was taking a long time for customers to get their food. After an hour and ten minutes, the waitress finally realized we didn't have our food. We waited an hour and twenty minutes for it to actually come. The ticket had been put down on the drink station and the cook never got it. We saw him find it. No offer was made to comp the meal or give a discount and really not even an apology.”

“Don't go here if you have peanut issues. This is an aptly named restaurant. Food is OK if you are looking for something different in atmosphere. Peanut shells on the floor, mullet friendly. Pile in the Camaro just park in the lawn.”

“Family owned, Louisiana cooking at it's best. Portions are phenomenal, staff is friendly (and proud of their fare), service is fast. If you like it hot, you will have to add some on hand spices. The fish and wildlife on the walls add to the ambiance - but once the food comes, you focus on only one thing. yum!”

“All I can say: try the Veggie Nachos - thick cut marinated slices of crisp zucchini, yellow squash lightly grilled, placed on individual freshly made tortilla chips, each covered with Mexican white cheese and beans, a half-order is more than enough for one person even if they share. The service was excellent, very attentive, and the only downside was the music was a tad bit loud, but they adjusted it after a few complaints.”

“This is it people! This is the best you have ever tasted. I live in ST. Louis, and have family in the Blythe ville area, so I know all about the Dixie Pig! For the last 30 years, I have enjoyed some of the most delicious BBQ pork sandwiches you have ever tasted in you're life. I always stop in and get at least 2 lbs, to take back with me. And guess what? You can tell them when you order, that you are traveling with it, and they will wrap it up for you. Stop in Blythe ville, go to Dixie Pig, eat BBQ, live long!”

“I have been eating there so many times, the food is great but the service was really bad. I want to go to eat the food there but the waitress is not polite. Most of the time I went there for business meeting and that is not the best restaurant to take your clients to.”

“This review is right down the middle, but it will come across more harsh than I mean. I ordered a small BBQ. I looked around at the other 5 or 6 senior couples and I noticed the sauce had a hole in the top and people were putting their finder over the hole to shake the sauce, no one has heard of swine flu in those parts. Then I heard chopping with a cleaver in the kitchen, hum, no pull just chopped, already second class. The BBQ just covered the bun and it looked like someone pressed it flat. Meat had no taste without the sauce.”

“Great steaks. The petit filet is better than any steak I've eaten at a Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Mike Ditka's etc. The tuna was pretty good but I've had better. Then again, the BS is not a seafood restaurant. Chicken is cooked just right. Their sautéed mushrooms are very good as are the grilled shrimp. Service is always top notch. Prices are more than Logan's Roadhouse and Outback, but the quality of the food is much better as well. If you order a steak you will not be disappointed.”

“I ate at Gregorios back in the Fall of 2000 and it was the best pizza I ever ate. Now it must be owned by someone else because it tastes like spoiled tomato sauce on cardboard. Service was absent and employees were inattentive. Sorry to be so disappointed with this pizza, but it used to be incredible. I even considered asking about franchising it back in 1990 but not now.”

“Everything was O.K. but I saw the manager treating his male employees differently than his female employees. I saw him trying to discipline a male employee for doing the exact same thing a female was doing and he was helping her. Practicing double standard.”

“Myself, my family and nearly everyone I know have all enjoyed catfish at The Hole for at least 25 yrs. The fish is consistently good, the meal batter is perfect, not too salty, not too much pepper or seasoning. And be careful not to fill up on the hush puppies before your fish arrives at the table! Family owned and operated, same waitresses for years and they all treat you like family. Very good choice even if it is a bit out of the way.”

“Our favorite thing about this restaurant was the bread with roasted garlic. It was also nice how every table had their own Parmesan shredder. I ordered the tortellini with garlic and olive oil which was a little bland for me and seemed a little over-priced. My husband had the Lasagna which I tried and thought was pretty good. If you go on the weekend expect a wait. We waited about 45 minutes and I can't say it was really worth it. It's one of the better places to eat in Eureka though and the atmosphere was great.”

“This is the most unsanitary place I have ever ate. The tables were dirty, the floors were sticky and nasty, the ham was all fat and gristle. The owners should really be ashamed of themselves.”

“This restaurant has a great vibe for families! You are greeted by friendly employees, seated quickly, and allowed to have a great experience within a comfortable environment. The food was prepared quickly and fresh, and the employees are lively to both themselves and the customers! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that comes through Magnolia for the night! I have been a customer for years and have become acquainted with several of the long time employees as well as some reoccurring customers! We all have nothing but good things to say about this branch of Pizza Hut!”

“Awful- do not ever go to Shogun-went to Shogun today, our waitress couldn't tell us what type of draft beer they had. When we asked she just looked at us and smiled, she didn't offer to go find out or anything. Later I saw her asking another waiter about what a draft beer was. When we got our food everything on our plates was cold. We told our waitress and she just looked at us, her look was like what do you want me to do about it. Before our entrees came out cold, we had eaten the soup and salad that came with the meal. After waiting about 10 minutes for our food to reappear we got tried of waiting and told the waitress we just wanted to leave. Billing was made incorrect. It was ridiculous, I will never go back.”

“The food is great, especially the cheese burger pizza, but the floors are all concrete and therefore it is insanely loud throughout the entire restaurant. When someone moves a chair it's like nails on a chalkboard as well. Very difficult to conduct a conversation at your own table without feeling like you were yelling.”

“Terrible, awful food. They fool you with the great location and architecture. Food has no flavor (they fancy Fayetteville and Razorback sushi tries to fool you), meats are always overcooked, salad is iceberg lettuce with dressing, even rice is nasty. Service by some twisty college girl. If you have to go, just go order a drink on the patio - it's only redeeming feature!”

“Nice atmosphere, decent sushi. They use some lower quality beef. It's tough and not too tasty. Their chicken is bland and bloated salty, must really be injected with water and sodium stuff.”

“This place has some good items. But some of the stuff is from recipes from the 70's. Don't order the club sandwich! In Arkansas a club sandwich is a pile of turkey breast slapped on a croissant with some bacon. I mean a slab of slices of turkey lunch meat, like a cold brick. Terrible flavor & mouth feel. Larded out croissant lays in the mouth and chewing through a slab of turkey slices is not fine dining. Put some effort into making a sandwich good. I know there are folks from Arkansas that think this is a nice place - and it has a good atmosphere. But if you have eaten in any part of the country where good food is served - watch out.”

“Very unfriendly service. Takes ten to twenty minutes to get your foot at the Beebe Sonic. Compared to other Sonics in surrounding towns which are really great, this Sonic is horrible and not worth spending even a time to eat out at.”

“Well, it's like this. Pretty good food, but the service needs some help. You get plenty to eat for the money. Lunch time is better because the owner is there to conduct business. It's an okay place to eat.”

“Nothing like it used to be. The original Chicken Country's food didn't taste like this. It is still good, but the one in Jacksonville is better. Seems like they have kept it more like it was when they first opened.”

“When the Canon's owned the restaurant, we really enjoyed having a well prepared, pleasantly presented, and good value. We've tried it a couple times since then and were less than pleased. We agreed to not go back. Tonight, because of our Pastors birthday, I broke my promise to myself. I wish I hadn't. The service was slow (over an hour and a half to get our meals), and the presentation was severely lacking. My broiled Red Snapper was blackened (which is the only way they will prepare it) on one side and cold and raw in the middle. The portion was small and accompanied only with a baked potato. It took several attempts to get a coffee refill and it was cool when served. I waited until I got to the register to make my displeasure known but was never asked how the meal was. When I offered her the information, she showed no concern. I will not be back!”

“I ordered a pizza from them for delivery, an hour later still no pizza so I called them back. I was told the delivery person tried to deliver the pizza and tried to call the number given. My advice to anyone wanting to lose weight is call them for a delivery, it will NEVER show up therefore you go hungry, or you get dressed and have to go out for something else. This was the second time this has happened. There are plenty of other places to eat in West Memphis, so don't waste your time calling Pizza Inn if you are hungry, an hour later you will only be hungrier.”

“It's sad to know so many recipes have changed. But hey, everyone loves the "Gregacious". which is a combination of every ingredient on hand - minus salami, which actually gave it that extra "zing" that everyone used to love (and it used to weigh over 3 lbs.). So if you do decide to eat there, I definitely suggest the "Gregacious" - just don't say you weren't warned on how small the meat/veggie ratio is.”

“Hard Times is now Time Out. Smoking facility, good drink prices, nice atmosphere, good bands. Walking distance so no chance of DUI! Horse Racing channel, football etc. Great pool room! Pool was free on Tuesday nights. We played free Texas Hold 'EM on Wed and Thurs. Provided us great entertainment all week we were there. Highly recommended!!”

“Here's a toast to everyone who has felt frustrated by the absence of poncho's cheese dip when life's journey took them far from home - To those who have felt a lack of understanding from a well - meaning friend who says: oh you mean Tostitos chili con quest? No my friend. No. To the travesty of going to a Mexican restaurant and hearing question? From the waiter when you ask if they have cheese dip. A side of shredded cheese isn't going to cut it, amigo. To the pain of ordering quest fun dido and discovering that it is stringy and odd, sigh, stringy and odd. Or worse: that the lowest of low cheeses - nacho - has filled your bowl. Here's to those who have had to go to the generic chain restaurant On the Border for their sub-par cheese dip because it's the closest thing you can find. Or rote inspired dip, which isn't bad but just isn't what your heart truly desires. And here's to the rest of the sad tales that you have endured: to parental rejection at the idea of shipping ponchos cheese dip overnight through the mail; to failed trips to Wal-Mart because at one time they purportedly carried Poncho's dip; to failed searches on amazon.com; and cheesy kitchen experiments gone terribly wrong. But finally, here's to that indescribable feeling of coming back to Memphis, and racing for the fridge - in the process, shoving friends, family and pets aside - and finally opening the lid and indulging in the miracle that is Poncho's cheese dip. Yes, here's to you poncho.”

“I have tried a lot of Chinese restaurants, but this is the first one ever that offers a truly delicious Dim Sum and a tasty Chinese menu. I do not care driving almost two hours just to enjoy an excellent Dim Sum on a weekend or simply order to go and stock my fridge with enough fried rice, noodles, and Dim Sum for a few days. I find the service very friendly and honest, maybe not extremely professional, but I prefer a friendly environment than a professional waiter/waitress that does not like what he/she is doing. The prices are remarkably reasonable for the quality and taste. As a half Chinese descendant myself, I find that this is one of the few places left where you can still see the whole Asian family actually bringing the whole family for a traditional Saturday or Sunday meal together and enjoying. I strongly recommend this place.”

“The Pig is so good it's mentioned in one of Jimmy Buffet's books (A Salty Piece of Land). This is real barbeque, the likes of which are found nowhere else but Blytheville. Pig sandwiches are a staple here; but what impresses me are the hamburgers. honest to God, patted out by hand, delicious burgers. You got to get one! And the fries.”

“I grew up going to Mexico Chiquita. In the fifties and sixties there was no real menu just dinner and it was good. When you entered the restaurant and were seated, the waiter would ask what kind of drink did you want and which dessert did you want. It was only in the summer that you were given a choice of the regular dinner or the summer plate. One of the things that made it so special was the spices. They were unique and I have never tasted their duplicate. The regular plate started with a spiced tomato juice, then Con Queso (the bowl always seemed to small) then the entree plate with a crispy taco on a cabbage leaf, two enchiladas and rice and beans. It was so good. I left Little Rock over 10 years ago and Mexico Chiquita is one of the few things I truly miss. I just wish I could at least get a packet of their spices through the mail. At one time you could buy them in the store.”

“Simply the best steaks in town. Some are portioned for 2 people so be careful you do not over order. In the middle of campus town for U of A. Atmosphere is fair. They need to improve side items. This is not a Ruth's Chris for sides, but will rival them easily on steak.”

“First of all, they've moved so get the new address. We drove around for quite some time before being redirected to the correct address. North Little Rock is not an easy place to get around. The catfish was terrific - among the best, sides good as well except for the fried green tomatoes. Unfortunately, they are mostly breading. The crowd speaks bundles for the restaurant. It's very crowded! By the way, we were not the only ones there tonight who could not find the place.”

“The first time that I dined at the Front Porch, I thought the food was good. The salad bar was wonderful with a variety of toppings, such as ham, cheese, tomatoes, etc. The steak was okay, but I never met a steak I didn't like. However, it suddenly changed. The salad bar is not what it once was. There has been little toppings in which to choose, but the buffet is still okay. The staff is iffy. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, there is a wonderful, sweet hostess that will take complete care of you. Any other night, beware. One waitress is completely offensive. She will play you for a fool, telling you that it is taking awhile with your food, when in fact, you may not get it at all! She is also rude. Her tip definitely reflected the attitude!”

“I love the cow pen it is a wonderful place to take your family to dine. Very clean, they have an excellent staff, they were very warm and friendly. When you go in, it's like you are walking up a cattle shuttle, and they have all these cattle stalls for you to dine in. The atmosphere is great. We travel 45 miles one way to go eat there even with the gas prices is high as they are that doesn't stop us. You just don't fine many restaurant with a friendly & warm atmosphere. Cow pen the best Randy Rider.”
