Habanita
Aug 13, 2006 by Megan from Seattle

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[8] • Atmosphere:[10]

  • Menus in English, variety of foods.
  • Could be hard to find for visitors.

“My friends and I went here often while I was studying in Seville. It was a nice change from all the other Spanish tapes every other place had. My favorite was the chicken breast in coconut sauce (Pechuga de polo en salsa de coco) and the potatoes in a red sauce (papas en mojo picon?). They have tons of vegetarian and even vegan items and the different sizes of portions (tapas, media raciones, y raciones) allow you to try many things. This was my favorite place in Seville!! ”

Sinatra
Aug 3, 2006 by Bob from Arlington

Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2
Food:[6] • Service:[6] • Atmosphere:[2]

  • The all-tapas food quality was good.
  • The portions were very small and expensive.

“This restaurant has NOTHING to do with Sinatra. They don't play Sinatra music, they don't have any pictures of Sinatra, and upstairs they have a video monitor that plays old movies, you guessed it, not Sinatra old movies. When I was there they were playing Casablanca with no audio. Also, be prepared to inhale a lot of second-hand smoke. ”

Cafe de Oriente
Jul 4, 2006 by Rob from Limoux france

Overall Rating: 2 User Rating Score: 2
Food:[2] • Service:[1] • Atmosphere:[3]

  • Dreadful food and appalling service from people who didn't care.
  • Nuff said.

“I used to eat in the Oriented years ago. Excellent value and good food then but now. Awful. Ate there last week on a trip to Madrid. I was served fish which I'd suspect had been cooked the day before and microwave before being given to me. Vile. I ate three forkfuls and left the rest. The Waitress didn't bother to ask if there was a problem. Nobody seemed to care that we'd had a bad experience. Place was empty at a time it should have been full. Follow the examples of the locals and avoid the place!”

Jardines Alberto
May 28, 2006 by JOHN from ALICANTE

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1
Food:[1] • Service:[1] • Atmosphere:[1]

  • Location.
  • Frozen Veg. small potions and RAW yes RAW Chicken this was after sending it back TWICE. NEVER AGAIN!!

“We stayed in the Hotel Guadalupe for 2 nights to visit Alhambra Palace, we were not disappointed with either of these. However, we made the mistake of visiting this restaurant, bad move. Apart from the location there is NOTHING that I would recommend this restaurant. My wife could have ended up with food poisoning as her Chicken was sent back twice to the kitchen the outer was cooked but the inner was RAW and this piece was only quarter inch thick if that, FROZEN vegetables still HARD were served with FROZEN Swordfish and at TOP prices, my advise is STAY AWAY.”

Canadu
Mar 24, 2006 by Kelly from Portsmouth

Overall Rating: 9 User Rating Score: 9
Food:[10] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[8]

  • A large range of foods.
  • Can sometimes have to wait a while for food but this is only because the restaurant is so popular.

“A fantastic restaurant with a good choice of food at very reasonable prices.

<>
Have been to other vegetarian restaurants in Malaga but this is by far the best.
<>
<>Didn't realize that vegetarianism was popular in Spain but this restaurant is always busy.
<>
<>The service is fantastic and even though as British customers we are in the minority, we are always made welcome.

Tendido 1
Mar 20, 2006 by Heather from Wrexham

Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[9] • Service:[8] • Atmosphere:[9]

  • Varied high quality tap as with every drink purchased.
  • Slightly slow service if sitting outside at lunch time.

“Unusual venue with a great atmosphere. Clientele mostly Grenadian which is always a good sign. The tap as is excellent and drinks are excellent value. We visited twice during our stay and on the second visit the staff gave us two free wines at the end of our meal. Will definitely return.”

Habanita
Feb 20, 2006 by May from Vancouver

Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1
Food:[1] • Service:[1] • Atmosphere:[1]

  • One of the few places you can find vegetarian.
  • Bad service, bad food.

“I am pretty sure Habanita ripped us off. We were charged 13.50 Euros for a small jug (maybe half liter) of sangria. The receipt said "various" and then the price. From my experience in the restaurant industry, "various" would be where they enter whatever price they feel like. I shouldn't have paid it. I think they did this because they delivered the wrong food to our table and we started to eat it. There is no way we would've known it was not our food because we asked them to bring whatever they recommended. They pulled the food out of our hands and off the table mid-bite and said "No food for you!" and than billed us 13.50 for sangria. I think they were trying to recover the cost of the food they accidentally delivered to us, and only had one bite of. The food was not very good either.”
