• Everything was wonderful.
• Nothing.

“For the birthday celebration of a good friend of my we went in a group of 8 to the Manor Cafe. The waiter who served us was amazing. He had an extensive knowledge of the food items, made sure we were in want of nothing and if I had more space I would tell you how he offered to redo a meal for one of the party members who was running late. The Desert. We were discussing going to another restaurant, but when they brought out the sample tray. Well that idea quickly changed. The atmosphere was warm it is sent in a house. All I can say is that I loved it, the food, the serve everything made our friends birthday an excellent celebration.”

• Looks like a posh place for a special occasion.
• Terrible service.

“Having had a superb meal here a few years ago we decided to take our son there for a meal on his 21st birthday. The service was very poor to non-existent. Despite being told that bread was on the way it didn't arrive until our starters eventually appeared. My husband's and my appetizers arrived but our son's Caesar salad appetizer didn't arrive at all. Only after asking twice if it was coming did it finally arrive about 10 minutes after we had finished ours. We asked for a drinks menu, twice, and finally got it about 20 minutes later. My starter was Luke warm, probably having sat waiting to be served for quite a while. My husband ordered the special of the day, kangaroo wrapped in bacon, and it was overdone and tough. Not a place we will use again for a special occasion.”

• Loved the selection, when it was open.
• Found the prices too high, probably why they folded!

• Great ambience, comfortable, staff is great.
• I honestly haven't got a negative.

“Teddy's has the best Reuben sandwiches in the west - I've traveled far and wide asking for Reuben's, and ending up sad. These sandwiches are two hinders, for sure. Of course, you shouldn't eat one every day, but I could if I really decided to.”
