“Fabulous. Very friendly and cheap. Lovely people and amazing cakes. Go don't delay and definitely try the spinach and cheese strudel.”

“I ate there during my first trip to Australia on business. I was by myself but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The fish and chips that I had that chilly day with the overhead gas heaters on and the beautiful sparkling bay in front of me will always be in my mind. I would say that it would have been cheap at twice the cost. Don't miss Doyle's.”

“It has really good ice skating facilities but if you told us how much it would cost for a party then it would be better. Get better food as well.”

“An excellent place for the family. Kids will always look forward to coming for a nice swim in the little kiddies pool area. For the older children there were some deeper playing pools and even some fun diving boards. The older people who were trying to get fit or maintain they're healthy body status can come and join the swimming in the lap pools or even the gym provided with additional costs. Also there was a fantastic cafeteria type food restaurant, nicely maintained and cleaned toilets and changing rooms, a safety checked pool and fun area. Two fantastic water slides and even a park outside for everybody to enjoy. Weather it be the school holidays or even the weekend everybody will get leisure out of this aquatic centre. For those who have trouble swimming there are also some swimming classes instructed by the workers. An excellent place to be.”

“Fresh flavors from delightfully fresh foods. Fresh environment, you can have your choice of indoor or outdoor dining. Friendly staff with no fresh attitudes. Gorgeous fresh coffee for those with a habit. Whether your appetite be large or small, sums menu caters fabulously to all.”

“I worked for Govindas in 2000, this was not only an awesome restaurant to eat at but one of the greatest jobs I ever had. The chefs are incredible there. I am not a vegetarian (all meals are there) but the food was so incredible that you just didn't care. The best part of the experience is the dinner and a movie, after you enjoy the food you head upstairs to watch a new release movie, the movie theater is covered in pillows and couches. It is really a neat experience compared to the major chain restaurants that rule the world. If your looking for something different that won't break the bank Govindas is probably one of the best restaurants you can go to in Sydney.”

“I am a frequent visitor to Adelaide and I always try to make a dinner booking. I have to book as the place is always booked out; Joe's staff have never disappointed with the presentation and standard of aged grass-fed beef. Service is always friendly and pretty quick for such a popular asado. Red wine list is good; I tend to stick with the steak choices but the seafood dishes always look equally appetizing.”

“I do not know what all the fuss is about this place. When they bothered to serve us, we chopped a small serving of a pretty average lasagna, and when we asked for a Greek Salad each, they brought us a small plate "to share". The coffee was good, but that is all I would go there for in future.”

“A great place to have a quiet lunch overlooking some of the most beautiful real estate in Tasmania, the botanical gardens at Hobart and the daren¿t river. An out of the way small cozy place to appreciate your surroundings. During our visit, there were no children, and the restaurant was about half filled but was very quiet. The food was excellent and well presented. We had a table of seven and everyone had ordered a different meal, and all were pleased with their selections.”

“Banjos are not really restaurants -- they are more like a combination bakery and coffee service. The atmosphere is informal, a place where you meet friends to chat. The bakery products are good; the sandwiches are like you would make at home, nothing special so to speak...”

“We ate there several years ago, and the food was woeful. However we tried it again last night as we heard there were new owners and new recipes. The food was definitely better. We had acquits and tacos as an entree. They were very good. I had a vegetarian burrito as my main course. It was served with Spanish rice and beans and was extremely well presented. It tasted as good as it looked. My companion had the Montezuma¿s pie and his reaction was may Buenos. The margaritas were good and they serve Mexican beer, both corona and dos equips. The restaurant is very noisy; the service is slow, but no slower than anywhere else in Tasmania (known for slow poor service). The wait staff was pleasant and did check back several times (unheard of in tissue and apologized for the delay). But this time the food was worth the wait and we did enjoy it. They have won us over. ”

“Star city is a monopoly. As Sydney¿s only legal casino, it effectively has a license to print money and as such has no need to offer competitive products, value for money or high service levels. This shows all too well in the dismal staffing levels on the tables, in the bars and especially in the restaurants. The few restaurants are more often closed than open due to budget cuts by management. Staff I spoke to point out that the owners (tabcorp) have run the place into the ground in the few years since they took control. This shows very clearly and is a disgrace. Do yourself a favor and stay away; this is an awful place to visit with no attractions except for the gambling fans. 1500 machines and some tables but even the tables are usually short staffed so do not expect to be playing your favorite game. What an absurd way to run a casino!”

“Beautiful food, presentation second to none, atmosphere lovely and to eat and admire the spectacular views at the same time, well it was glorious Staff were a credit to the company and very professional, nothing was too much trouble and no bad feelings were presented to us when we changed our mind over our meal choices, due to recommendation by staff member If we ever come back to Hobart, yes we would definitely come back again. ”

“The Vineyard encapsulates all that is Melbourne, positioned in the heart of St. Kilda. The overall vibe and experience I had whilst there was for every minute enjoyable- and wait until you try the food! ”

“Very bad service. Waiters were very rude and disinterested in being there. You pay $$ and expect the waiters to at least be bothered to fill your water glass! Melbourne has fantastic restaurants, so do not waste your time with this 'stuck in the 90's' restaurant. They have retained that arrogant waiter type which is so passes these days! Who can be bothered really?! The food was good. But, I would never go bck....dust all over the place, in the wine glasses, plates, etc, and just a general eye opener as to how bad some restaurants who think they are class are really all just hype. Do not bother.”

“Lounge 243 Swanston St Melbourne 3000. If anyone needs to go to this place, Lounge at 243 Swanston St Melbourne 3000. I recommend you that you should not because they were not good in service. They took care customers like non-value humans. They used a bad words when talking with customers. They used low quality of their products to serve customers and a lot of bad things at this bar. Please believe me. I just be treated like above services from them!”

“I absolutely love everything about this restaurant! The atmosphere is breath taking, the food is just amazing and such a good variety and doesn't take too long to come to your table, the service is perfect and the staff are always welcoming and very well mannered. And the views are just superb. I definitely suggest you come here!”

“Stayed at Miss Maud for a week & booked a twin sharing & another triple sharing. Both rooms are nicely furnished & includes necessities such as water heater, water flask, fridge, TV, etc. Uniqueness of this Hotel is the paintings & the drawings decorations in the room as well as along the walkway. Nice touch there!. A place for budget traveler. Best hotel for its value for money & strategic location. Walking distance at most 10 minutes from City Centre, heart of Perth with all the shopping malls at incredible prices. Convenient 24-hours store nearby, internet access cafe & eatery at meal times. Miss Maud is at the corner of the street which makes it easy to travel in terms of direction to the Port, Bus Stops, Train to head for places like Chinatown, Road Busker Corner, Sightseeing places & especially to our sightseeing meet up point for pick-up to the outskirts. Breakfast was superb. I was told that they've the best pastry in town. Breakfast every morning was a spread. Trust me, you'll crave for more even when you're back home. Staff service was excellent. Very homely, very welcoming, very soothing to put up at Miss Maud Hotel. Even when we had to check out & yet had to do our last minute shopping, our baggages are in good hands with the front desk luggage corner. Will definitely recommend to others & stay there again. Hope these are helpful & have an enjoyable stay.”

“Bennets Lane is the ultimate in cool. It is Australia's best jazz club (with the awards to prove it). With jazz playing every night of the week, it is the ultimate destination of jazz-lovers. And if jazz isn't your cup of tea, you will probably still love Bennets Lane. It has a great atmosphere, and an interesting mix of people (with everyone from city professionals, to students, to travelers). The music is the main attraction, but the wide range of drinks and good service will keep you happily tapping your foot for hours. I would recommend Bennets Lane to anyone - any age (over 18, that is), and any taste in music.”

“As the name suggests, the Vineyard's reputation is as a bar more than a restaurant. It is the watering hole of choice for St Kilda locals (many of whom are generally artists, musicians or unique and eclectic free spirits). What is most striking about the Vineyard is that it's a vibrant and friendly place. It's a great place for meeting people. As a local, I find that it's a great place for an end-of-the-week drink with friends. I imagine that it would be an excellent place for younger traveler (20-40 years old) to meet friendly Melbournians and find out more about local culture.”

“The Botanical is an excellent place to either meet up with old friends or meet new people. The venue boasts not only an excellent restaurant but also a funky bar. It can get quite busy, especially when the weather is warm. The patrons are generally successful late-20-something professionals out for a meal and a drink at a classy venue. The meals are stylish and satisfying - they're not cheap, but you get what you pay for; and the wine list is second-to-none. I would highly recommend the Botanical to anyone, either for a meal or a drink.”

“The Flower Drum doesn't only justify its much deserved reputation as Melbourne's premier Cantonese restaurant, it provides a dinging experience designed to exploit the senses.”
