• Drinks were cold.
• Everything else was terrible. Food and service.

“I and some friends popped in for some lunch. It wasn't a busy day and the bar wasn't overrun with people. We ordered food and drinks and sat down and waited. It took 30 mins for the food to arrive. Some other people who had ordered after us at the bar had received their food 15 mins earlier. We queried this and were told it would appear in the next 5 mins. 10 minutes later still not food and had to ask them again. When the food had arrived. All the orders were wrong and the food was cold. I had ordered a baked potato with baked beans and my friend had ordered a brie and tomato wrap. The bake beans were cold and were so few I could count them on the plate. The potato was the size of a new potato. Quite pathetic. My friend is a vegetarian. She was given a brie and bacon wrap rather than a brie and tomato. When we asked for this to be changed they told her to just take the bacon off! I think they missed the point! I will not be eating there again.”

• Strong colors.
• Toilet bit poorly.

“Very different, this sheaf field one is a music bar. But still had the good grub and fun staff that we hoped for. ”

• Good vibe, no trouble, everyone chilling.
• Drink prices, but worth it, the venue is good.

“Was visiting sheff and popped in the halcyon and they had a band on that had a great vibe, the place was great don't get many friendly doormen but they were sound, bar staff were a bit harried but friendly all the same, must be a good place as I'm going back there on Thursday 23rd march as they got a funk band on called montuno and a mate of mine said they are well good.”

• clean staff cant do enough for you foods great
• only downside is if yr upstairs can be a little noisy

“found bb's a few years ago and still love it now, everyone is friendly on yr 1st visit or your 100th. its clean, friendly and food is great to. some sites say you pay a corkage fee but its not its free corkage. cant leave with out saying the home made deserts are to die for.”
