“Fabulous. Very friendly and cheap. Lovely people and amazing cakes. Go don't delay and definitely try the spinach and cheese strudel.”

“I do not know what all the fuss is about this place. When they bothered to serve us, we chopped a small serving of a pretty average lasagna, and when we asked for a Greek Salad each, they brought us a small plate "to share". The coffee was good, but that is all I would go there for in future.”

“The Vineyard encapsulates all that is Melbourne, positioned in the heart of St. Kilda. The overall vibe and experience I had whilst there was for every minute enjoyable- and wait until you try the food! ”

“Been there many times . The cafe has great coffee and the good food as well as more than reasonable prices . Take away is available or if you prefer sit inside or do it El Fresco to appreciate the many moods of vibrant Prahran from a great vantage point . the service is prompt , warm , and friendly .”

“Very bad service. Waiters were very rude and disinterested in being there. You pay $$ and expect the waiters to at least be bothered to fill your water glass! Melbourne has fantastic restaurants, so do not waste your time with this 'stuck in the 90's' restaurant. They have retained that arrogant waiter type which is so passes these days! Who can be bothered really?! The food was good. But, I would never go bck....dust all over the place, in the wine glasses, plates, etc, and just a general eye opener as to how bad some restaurants who think they are class are really all just hype. Do not bother.”

“Lounge 243 Swanston St Melbourne 3000. If anyone needs to go to this place, Lounge at 243 Swanston St Melbourne 3000. I recommend you that you should not because they were not good in service. They took care customers like non-value humans. They used a bad words when talking with customers. They used low quality of their products to serve customers and a lot of bad things at this bar. Please believe me. I just be treated like above services from them!”

“Bennets Lane is the ultimate in cool. It is Australia's best jazz club (with the awards to prove it). With jazz playing every night of the week, it is the ultimate destination of jazz-lovers. And if jazz isn't your cup of tea, you will probably still love Bennets Lane. It has a great atmosphere, and an interesting mix of people (with everyone from city professionals, to students, to travelers). The music is the main attraction, but the wide range of drinks and good service will keep you happily tapping your foot for hours. I would recommend Bennets Lane to anyone - any age (over 18, that is), and any taste in music.”

“As the name suggests, the Vineyard's reputation is as a bar more than a restaurant. It is the watering hole of choice for St Kilda locals (many of whom are generally artists, musicians or unique and eclectic free spirits). What is most striking about the Vineyard is that it's a vibrant and friendly place. It's a great place for meeting people. As a local, I find that it's a great place for an end-of-the-week drink with friends. I imagine that it would be an excellent place for younger traveler (20-40 years old) to meet friendly Melbournians and find out more about local culture.”

“The Botanical is an excellent place to either meet up with old friends or meet new people. The venue boasts not only an excellent restaurant but also a funky bar. It can get quite busy, especially when the weather is warm. The patrons are generally successful late-20-something professionals out for a meal and a drink at a classy venue. The meals are stylish and satisfying - they're not cheap, but you get what you pay for; and the wine list is second-to-none. I would highly recommend the Botanical to anyone, either for a meal or a drink.”

“The Flower Drum doesn't only justify its much deserved reputation as Melbourne's premier Cantonese restaurant, it provides a dinging experience designed to exploit the senses.”
