• Besides the good food, the restaurant is a restful place. It is a home away from home restaurant.
• Get a cab to get you there.

“Nestled in a quiet side street it gave us a break from the hustle bustle of Bangkok. The food is exceptional and the staff is attentive. My children raved about the prawns in hot garlicky olive oil.”

• Interior, beef with basil, friendly staff.
• Cool zircon.

“We, my wife and my daughter (6y), spend 3 nights in bike, travel around Thailand and spend another night in BKK. We eat everything everywhere. But we ate 3 times in the lemongrass. When we ordered they asked every time whets for my daughter, so that they can do it less "hot" for her. My wife loves the interior. Our most favorite is the beef with basil. Our first stay in the lemongrass was 13 years ago, and it's great when a restaurant survive in such a busy town.”

• Bad for my diet.

“The Shangri-La restaurant is on the Silom road near the tower inn hotel but on the opposite side. It has large windows onto the road and looks very 'posh' and expensive. In spite of its appearance it is a very friendly place and very cheap - even by Thai standards. I eat there recently (may 2007) - they served me a whole Peking duck beautifully presented and served by three people, one who carved the skin and another who made up the little pancake-packets of duck skin and the spring-onion-cucumber and sauce. After I had eaten all I could, they had made a soup from the meat and I left with a take-away bag full. All this for 700 baht! The restaurant did not seem too full so I was surprised when about closing time a number of families emerged from some upstairs dining areas looking very satisfied and also with take-away bags. The elderly owner stood at the street entrance to wish them good-bye - as is the Chinese custom.”

• Passed on my positive experience to my friends many times.
• Never had a poor experience here.

“I have been to Crepes & Co. many, many time while living in Bangkok. Always a pleasant experience. Be sure to pet the restaurant cat on the way out---a friendly guy who will give you a meow!”

• Nice well dressed staff.
• Nothing really but as with most classy restaurant slightly more food would be nice.

“The staff are friendly smiley and pleasant and are able to speak English well the food is well presented and hot when served nice selection of breads is provided whilst one waits for their order .Reasonably priced food a pleasant experience I dined there Feb/March 2006 and would definitely go back again. My pick lasagna very nice :)”
