Bright and welcoming, Jam has a legion of local fans that fill it to capacity at peak hours. The menu has an enticing array of soups, salads, sandwiches and hot entrees. Favourites include potato cakes with spring onion and cheese, fresh salmon and spinach in pastry, goat's cheese with roast vegetables, and bacon cheese quiche. Jam is renowned for its innovative home-made breads that make sandwiches extra special. Olive bread, Mediterranean tomato and herb, wholemeal and a variety of sweet breads are as delicious as they look. If you cannot decide on a single selection, don't despair.
