PushkinTverskoi bulvar' 26a, Moscow, RussiaTel: +7 095 229 55 90 This is a place where you can feel like an aristocrat of early 19th century Russia. It's a literary cafe/restaurant with an interesting collection of items - an antique library with 15,000 old books, maps, globes and telescopes, all of them original articles from Pushkin's time. This place holds a special place among the city's restaurants, and Moscow Mayor Luzhkov often brings his guests here. It is carefully styled after the luxurious but cozy Moscow mansion of Pushkin's time. All parts of the cafe ' the drawing room, the antique pharmacy, the stairs, and even the elevator have artificially aged floors and tiles. Every item in the interior appears absolutely genuine. The waiters are dressed in old grey Russian servant frock coats, and even speak the Russian language of Pushkin's era. The menu includes typical Russian dishes, prepared according to old recipes as well as French cuisine highlights, typical of the early nineteenth century. The wines are from France, Spain, Italy, the Crimea and Georgia.
