Housed in the venerable Lord Nelson Hotel, this homey pub sticks with old-style in food and atmosphere. The menu remains true to England's "meat-and-two-veg" fare, with a Sunday roast served daily, complete with Yorkshire pudding. Other hearty pub fare includes Chicken Pot Pie, Shepherd's Pie or Steak & Mushroom Pie. Of course there's bangers & mash and plougman's lunch. For the fainter of heart, there are dinner salads. For dessert, you will find bread & butter pudding and real English sticky pudding.
