Built in 1841, this heritage building with a flagged terrace fronting onto Richmond's main street is open for teas and light lunches. Decor is country-style with timber tables and chairs and local prints on the walls. The Welsh dressers display traditional blue and white crockery. Try the continental cake layered with creme au beurre, raspberry jam, golden syrup and hazelnuts at AUD3.75 or the pork and veal terrine with salad at AUD7.60. A fresh fruit platter at AUD5.50 contains sliced apple, banana, cheese and raisins with wholemeal bread. Hot and cold drinks are available.
