This is an admirable 1867 heritage building in the centre of Richmond boasting a fine lacework balcony. On warm days dine in the sun-trap courtyard. Timber tables and chairs with interesting wall prints of the district offer an historical perspective. There are over 25 main courses from which to choose and the hotel specialises in fine Tasmanian fare. Enjoy a counter meal at a good price. Try the Seafood Basket at AUD16.95 or the Richmond Rump at AUD16.95. Choose a good house wine by the bottle at AUD13 or by the glass at AUD4.50.
