Opa Taverna

Passers-by can hear sounds of lively Greek instrumental music emanating from the restaurant, located in the heart of the city's trendy eating-and-drinking district. Opa is chic and a thoroughly pleasant place to be. The sun floods in through skylights in the restaurant's high ceilings and onto its terra-cotta walls, where hang large, eye-catching paintings. First-time diners may want to try the Pikilia Piato, a selection of three or five chilled appetizers or the Greek Piato, an assortment of hot appetizers that's plenty of food for two.

  • Wonderful food and delightful decor.
  • Its so popular it gets crowded.

“We were spending a week in Halifax last summer and went to Opa on the recommendation of my sister. Everything about it was wonderful. The food was exquisite, the service excellent and the atmosphere perfect. My husband and I have traveled a lot and this had to be one of our favorite restaurants ever! ”
