Formerly Ecco Il Pane, this Mediterranean-inspired bistro serves rustic Italian cuisine. Originally known for their crusty, flavorful bread, they now offer a six-course tasting ($45CDN) and regular menu.

Sample plates of fresh pasta kissed by olive oil and fresh herbs, or let your mouth water over grilled halibut with pancetta, capers, verdicchio, and spinach gnocchi.

The decor is rustic Italian with a decadent touch: marble floors and wrought iron fixtures. There's a patio surrounded by black iron gates and topiary.
