Situated on Insa-dong, Seoul's art and antique street, the name of this restaurant alludes to Korea's very strict society and severe economic situation after the Korean War. The specialty here is traditional Korean food, such as bibimbop and kimchi pancakes. It also serves Korean alcohol, including dongdongju and soju. The food is very good, modified to suit today's style of presentation and modern tastes. The decor is best described as traditional chic, with lanterns, looms and selected native accessories creating a cultural ambiance.
