The restaurant looks like a traditional peasant hall. The tables are simple, sturdy wooden blocks and everyone sits together. In true peasant style, the restaurant welcomes dog owners to bring in their beloved beasts. When you sit down to eat, you will get a pot full of Smalec, a lard spread to be put in generous dollops on your bread. For those not convinced, another little bucket offers cream with chives. The main dishes are all traditional favourites. The potato pancakes may well be the best in all of Poland.
