Wide-screen TV's and a charming English atmosphere are the big draws at this smoky, old-fashioned pub found on the corner of Bank and Somerset. Tartan chairs, comfortable sofas, dartboards, a fireplace, and hearty lunch and weekend brunch menus make it a good, casual place to grab a bite and hang out. On weekend evenings local bands draw a young professional—but no less casual—crowd. The dinner menu includes standard pub appetizers, pizza, large salads and such favorites as Bangers and Mash, and steak and mushroom pie.
