Step through the ornate front door of this Byward Market restaurant and luxuriate in rich wood paneling, antiques, brass hanging lamps and comfortable chairs. Try Beef Vindaloo (CAD10.50) or Jheenga Mumtaz (jumbo shrimp sauteed in a rich fennel sauce tempered with raisins and onions) for CAD13.75. A buffet is offered on Mondays and Tuesdays. You just might spot a celebrity or two while you are dining—Bryan Adams frequents Haveli when in town and B-2 has also made an appearance.
