Regarded as a top spot to linger, this hot-spot's patrons have the option of two separate areas. The restaurant boasts a superb menu and fine local wines. The bar, although small, is a very smart and stylish hangout for the cocktail set. The decor features white walls, black leather seating and lots of chrome, which exudes a modernist look, although its small size makes it feel relaxed rather than stark. Seating in the bar area is limited, but there are also some tables outside available for those days the weather permits patrons to watch the world go by on Victoria Street. On offer is a good range of local New Zealand wines and bottled beers, as well as a good selection of fresh juices. Fine coffee is also available thanks to the adjoining restaurant.
