The bamboo wall here is reminiscent of those once found in the kampong days of old. The name of the restaurant is inscribed on a wooden boat in front of the wall. There are tables on the porch. The Chinese-style halal cooking attracts a lot of Muslims. During the day, you simply choose different vegetable and meat dishes to go with the rice. In the evenings, selections include sambal prawn (SGD7), hot sourish tom yam soup (SGD7) or shark's fin soup (SGD15). The local dessert, ice kacang (SGD1.20), and hot and cold drinks are available (SGD0.70).
