Weinstadl occupies a spacious old farmhouse in delightful Coromandel Valley--a pretty hills community only a short drive from Adelaide. The comfortable and restrained decor of the restaurant offers lots of dark timber, with pale walls and stylishly upholstered seating. Enjoy the cosy log fire in winter. The menu is Austrian--reflecting the origins of the owners and chef--with good, hearty serves of traditional dishes. Don't miss the special fixed price Tyrolian nights held monthly, with lots of thigh-slapping, high-kicking and yodelling. On Friday and Saturday the dinner-dance is very popular, so be sure to book.
