This friendly cafe located on a quiet side street next to the Astoria hotel has been around for quite a while. It is visited by both expats and Hungarians who start coming to have breakfast from 10am, when it opens.
Continental breakfast is good-value and you can also choose from croissants, toast, eggs and the like. There is a good selection of domestic and imported beer as well.
The room with mezzanine has recently been redecorated but it still feels pretty much the same - quiet and unassuming. There are paintings on the walls that change from time to time.
